..To not give up on life that easily.

That there is people out there that will do everything to make you Smile and Laugh

That there is people that will be Loyal and Defend you will all their might

That there is people that will be Kind and Generous and Loyal

That the world is still beautiful in every way..

I could go on like this forever, so I'm just going to stop here wink.png

  • 2 weeks later...

MLP: FiM has taught me many things, but the most important thing it has taught me is to be myself and not care what others think. Now maybe that is more being a brony and not the show itself, but without the show I wouldn't be a brony and would have just kept worrying about others thinking I was weird or lame instead of making myself happy.

It's okay to where the shirts to school and draw ponies on the front of your notebooks, but whatever you do, don't sing the theme song on the bus first thing in the morning, or on the way home for that matter, at the top of your lungs.  People don't like that...

Yes I did learn to not judge a book by its cover because of MLP but the #1 thing i learned was a lesson from Pinkie Pie which is to always be optimistic no matter how bad things are. I really have taken that to heart and i am always full of optimism and can will always make the best out of a bad situation.

I think the biggest ones probably either the "Don't judge a book by its cover" or maybe just speaking from the fandom its taught me that theres good people in the world, because honestly I wondered sometimes.

The shows taught a whole lot of lessons to me, hard to pick the #1.

I've learned a lot, well... Not really learned as much as found the ability to follow through with my beliefs.. I spent some time lurking around the Furry fandom before coming here and getting into this show. And that taught me, in it's own way, not to judge... but this show has really opened me up to be up front with my "No judge; no hate" beliefs. My motto basically boils down to this: So long as what someone does, enjoys, or believes in doesn't harm any other person, then you have no reason or right to complain, or direct hate toward them. So, yeah. Basically "Love and Tolerate" in a fancy verbatim.

It's taught me primarily that people are a lot more open to idealism and optimism than I thought, and that our world isn't overrun with pessimism and cynicism.
