A big ass wall, literally. Double sided, 9 blocks high, pretty walkway. Nothing else. Just a wall...plain, brick stone wall that is very very long.

I ve been trying to work on a 3-D statue of Princess Luna on Creative Mode however, it's really not working out too well...

My statue still doesn't have a head and I'm having quite a hard time making a head for her :(

I only play survival mode so my options are very limited in that regard, although I wouldn't personally find a great deal of enjoyment playing creative mode. I like to play when there's a certain risk despite how rage inducing it can be. I'd like to play more on multiplayer except the group of people I usually find myself with don't even know the word "cooperation" exists.

I've built the under water world called Atlantis Of course it is not finished, for that reason I am not showing any pictures of it, wink.png  but let me tell you it is pretty awesome! I can't wait till I am fully done with it. I have been building it for about 4 months.laugh.png After Atlantis I am thinking of building Canterlot, Cloudsdale, then probably PonyVille, But that wont be for another month or so. I also built a very collaborate machine just to get a sword. But I will Upload some photos soon of Atlantishappy.png

I used to play a lot of Minectaft. You know, here in Sweden it got popular way earlier than in the rest of the world so a while after it was like very popular in USA I got kinda tired of it..So I don't play anymore..

Anyways,

I once built a VERY large puzzle/adventure/challenge map. I spent like 3 months or more building it.

You started out a room where it has a bunch of different signs that told you information such as rules etc. Then there was like a bunch of paths you could take to either go into adventure mode or challenge mode. Adventure mode was a very big house with hundreds of rooms where you did small quests to find different clues where the exit room was. Here is a picture of it when I just started building it (everything in this map was built one block at a time, no world edit stuff) as you can see it's just a little building, but I sadly don't have the map or any screenshots of it finished.

post-1052-0-92053400-1371483674_thumb.png

when I had just started to build the house for the adventure mode

You could also go to challenge mode, in which case, the path to enter challenge mode would look like this:

post-1052-0-40130200-1371483717_thumb.png

After a while of walking you would enter from a door at the bottom of this and "swim" your way up.

20110829175540.png

Once you were at the top is would look like this.

20110829175700.png

There was then 4 different paths to take, 4 doors you could enter. Each door had a hallway with a bunch of more doors. Behind each door there was a "level". Each level had a name with different difficulties which was represented with stars * to *****.

The levels were very different, a lot of them were jump courses, such as these:

20110829175935.png

20110829175900.png

20110829175806.png

20110906222616.png

Many of them were mazes. But then as I said, all levels had different difficulties and I am actually quite good at coming up with smart stuff hehe, a 5* maze doesn't necessarily need to be longer than a 4*. Some had hidden stuff in them, and all had their differences. The mazes I made weren't small, they were very big. One of the mazes for example was built in a way so you started out in the maze by going up a small path on a long ladder. Once you were up you entered a room which had 3 different paths to take, the two on the sides lead to a large maze and the one to the front lead to a small path of water with a dead end. The way to get out was very ticky. There was actually two rooms that looked exactly the same. The starter room and another room, which made it look like you came back to the start again after a long time of wandering through the maze. The difference between the first room and the clone is that the ladder in the clone leads down to another big maze in darkness which leads to the exit. And one would never think of to go down there since it's the start of the map and you cannot go out once you enter a level.

This maze is probably the hardest I have ever built. Not because it was so big, (cause I've built ridiculously large mazes). I uploaded the whole map on the net (download links are broken now though) But this was one of the comments on that maze:

aairmmQ.png

And then there was a bunch of thinking maps.

I only have two screenshots of two of those sadly..

This one, which was a beach with water. In the middle of the water there was a kinda "hidden" pressure plate. If you stepped on it nothing would happen, but if you swam down into the water, you could find a hidden box with a fishing rod. On the beach there was also a hidden pressure plate. You needed to step on the plate on the beach and fish for the other plate and a secret door would open and a bunch of other stuff would be there.

20110829180019.png

Then we have this map called the Library. It is probably the level I was the most proud of, because I thought it was so incredibly clever. It was also one of those 5 star maps. The level was so hard, because it had so much things in it that would totally confuse you and make you not understand what the hell you're supposed to do.

You start off in a big and dark library with very tall roof and some special lamps I built in roof. The library had a bunch of paths between each bookshelf (not that weird, it's a library) And there was a pay desk, some tables and some chairs and some paintings. If you looked through every single spot of the floor you would finally see that there was two hidden pressure plates in the library. You would of course think they would do anything, but if you tried to step on one at a time nothing would happen. The map is hard in sunlight, but I decided to make it dark so it's ridiculously hard. What you were supposed to do was to go to the top of a certain chair and then do a long jump to another chair which made it possible to jump on top of a table which made it possible to jump on top of the bookshelves. You think it would be easy to notice this, but no. Firstly the chairs were put on spots that made it look impossible to jump from one to the other. And secondly, darkness. Anyways, once you were on the top of the bookshelves you could jump to a little edge that lead across the whole room on top of the walls. From there you could walk around the edge across the whole room, but there would still not be anything to do. Though, if you looked carefully there would be another pressure plate on top of one of the bookshelves. Though if you stepped on that one nothing would happen aswell. What you were supposed to do is: On one block up from the wall edge thing, every 6th block or something, there was a painting on the wall. On one of those paintings there was no wall behind it and you could just go through it. Once you went through you were behind/inside the walls. If you followed the path to the end there would be a switch. Once you activated it, a gravel block would secretly fall down from one of the lamps in the library. You would not notice this and when you go back to the library there would be no changes. The gravel block was hidden between two bookshelves and you would need to figure out yourself that a gravel block has dropped there. But once you do, you destroy it and place it a couple of times and you will eventually get some flint. Now you place the flint one one plate, the gravel on one and then you go stand yourself on the plate on top of the bookshelf. Then a secret door would open and behind it there would be a maze of bookshelves.

20110829180116.png

Here's a pic of a * map

20110829180051.png

The map had 38 levels in total (not counting the adventure mode) and if you beat a * level you get 1 gold, ** level you get 2 gold, etc.

There also, underground near the starting room, a big room with a bunch of pits with pressure plates in them. When you got enough golds, you would put those on the plates and a door would open. It will take you to the "hall of fame" which was a very big room that was made out of purple and black whool. There there's a bunch of signs that says congratulations and shit, and then there's another door which leads you to an automatic piston elevator which would take you high up into the air on glass. It would give you a nice view of the part of the map that was on top of the ground.

I spend so long time on this map, and then my computer needed to be reinstalled, I forgot to backup the files and the download links on the internet became corrupted.

Im still angry over that shit >:C

Well, I have built my fair share of contraptions in minecraft, all of them in survival. Sadly though, redstone is super buggy in x box version of MC so it is very hard to make certain contraptions.

I built a Bowser fort using a mario-brothers mod for Tekkit. It includes mario enemies and warp-pipes for instant transportation.

I also built a temple in the desert and for giggles, created a giagantic statue in honor of my accomplishment using glowstones :3

I have a world where I built plenty of pony and PSG related stuff. Statues, art, and 3D models. The 3D models were the toughest part of the whole building process.

I have built an entire kingdom once for fun. It had cities, forts, a castle, bandit camps, and hidden temples.

I then tried recreating TES Oblivion once. Using nether portals for oblivion gates was a neat idea, but I gave up on that project after about a week because it was becoming really difficult to make it look exactly like Cyrodiil and it was becoming quite tiring for me. I still have the map. Only the Imperial City and some of the landscape is finished.

I have recently been working on a second kingdom. I have finished a fort on one of the eastern islands and am currently building a mine on a northern island. I have also constructed a city in the center of a large continent and am going to build a castle connecting to the city. It is a huge work in progress as of now. :D

Ooo, one of these threads!

I spend so long time on this map, and then my computer needed to be reinstalled, I forgot to backup the files and the download links on the internet became corrupted.

This is a shame. As I was reading, I was wanting to do a play through of your map on my YouTube channel just based on the awesome scenery!

I have a few semi-impressive builds myself. This first one is a 1:1 scale replica of the Everquest city of Cabilis. It was quite a hectic few of months trying to scrounge up enough screenshots to do the build and than building it on a survival mode server.

And my other big build is one I took to calling the "Secluded Garden." The craters for it were made using Voltz antimatter explosives and the rest was done fully by hand.

I honestly haven't built much, and I lost my data when my computer broke anyways ;/. I mostly built stuff like houses and some towers(I build pretty tall towers I guess).

I'm also kinda OCD with my mine-shafts, like I make sure they're very symmetrical. I'm known for that among the ones I use to play with. I also one time totally replaced and made the whole thing symmetrical in this tunnel we had connecting two of me and a friends houses, it was a very decently long tunnel, but I did it.

Other then that I haven't done much, I did build a small little city thing, but that was in creative. Mostly my brother does alot of the building when we play, although idk I'm just not as creative at building as him. Most of my houses are very standard looking. His look pretty good though, so I mine and gather stuff alot.

I guess a sheep farm maybe count? We had like each color of wool in pins full of sheep. I built that.

But yeah I need to work on my creativity, I wish I didn't suck so much at it. :/. Atleast I know some stuff about redstone, and I've done some small redstone things, my brother doesn't understand redstone at all though lol.

Its been a little since I've played minecraft to, doesn't help that this computer kinda sucks. Getting a new one, but for now I have a replacement. Maybe i'll play some more then, dunno about till then though.

I only ever play mine craft survival so I've only built houses, some of them very large.

I did once build a grand train station on my minecraft server, It served as a central hub that had powered mine craft tracks leading to and from my friends houses and various points if interest. It tools me about a month to build it, it was huge and being underground means it took forever to dig out, the entire building was lined with wood panels. The longest track took a full 10 mins to travel down, the main station was around 40 blocks tall and 300ish long.

You know, I was actually going to do the dirt house joke. But obviously it was taken, so I've built a few castles, a plane and a few ships. A lot of towers and just small houses that serve no purpose other then being a house. Although I'm proud of my many castles, I'm very proud of my underground tunnels and system. Very big system, made it go to a lot of my underwater places. A lot of them inspired by Fallout, so I've made a lot of underground shelters and I made an underwater pyramid that looked like a bowl, since it rised from the sea making a box of some sort. But the tunnel system is very big and I enjoy making long tunnels. I create a lot of stuff, I like creating houses. I usally just play the game on creative but even on survival I'm usually so organized that I already have made a huge house that's protected from monsters. Back when I was still playing I started to make a lot of normal houses, I like creating stuff, I always try making the house in a way that I can just live inside it. So I don't have to leave it ever. I need to start playing minecraft again. It was fun but time consuming, I spent so much time on it that I can't even count all the things I've made. I've made a lot more then I put up here.

I really only play survival. (On mobile.) All I've really built is this gigantic mine that goes all the way to the bottom if the world. Unoriginal, but it looks cool.

Well, I wasn't the one who actually built it, but I was the major inspiration behind a statue a friend of mine made. It was of a Golurk, and it was actually pretty accurate. I don't have a picture of it, but it was awesome nonetheless. Had a sign in front that credited me, if that counts for anything.

The only thing I've built myself was a huge wooden home built into a mountain. Then I left, got lost in a mine somewhere, got out on the other side of the map, and gave up on the game because I didn't really find it fun anymore. I never did get back home...

Indeed.
