Male Pony in Season 4?

I would like to see some male ponies. Even if we only got one male pony who had a role as big as Zecora, I'd be happy. Even Flash Sentry would be fine with me, if he was done correctly. Canterlot seems to have a lot more male ponies than Ponyvile. Ponyville is like the opposite of the stereotype of China. By this I mean Ponyville is like all females.

Flash Sentry would be a nice addition to the series... but I would appreciate it if he's established as a character before any writers jump into the TwilightSentry episodes.

 

As far as the other characters go, I am curious to see that Big Mac episode they never produced. Soarin needs a crush on something more than just pies and Doctor Whooves desperately needs a crossover with the BBC series already (written by Steven Moffat *hint hint*).

If Hasbor did that then The show might was well be My little pony: love is magic. If all shows by Hasbro ended up like this we would get another cartoon network and that would be the end of the world for me.

I think we're fine in terms of male characters.  We've got Spike, who is pretty well developed.  Instead, they should focus on giving more focus to other male characters: Big Mac, Soarin', Thunderlane, Fancy Pants, Bifrost, Shining Armor, and Time Turner/Dr. Hooves.

Another male character that I think could be interesting: a Changeling who's either reformed or doesn't want to be (or never wanted to be) with his Changeling brethren.

 

Maybe he swears off devouring love out of respect for his new friends, but then gets sick because he can't feed...

It'd be nice to see more male characters in the series. Especially if they're going to be more than just a background character, they've been adding more and more males recently.

Or any male characters to begin with. Seems one of the best male characters with some real involvement in any story arc was a villain. Discord! But of course him being de Lancie doing his Q role just makes him that awesome anyhow lol.

 

It seems Equestria society places males at such a lowly role and with oppression. Only around to do the manual labor and act as guards around palaces. Maybe an 'uprising' episode is needed x3 the stallions and colts banding together picketing and protesting for more freedom to have careers and even some seats on governing bodies like Mayors or City Counsils that the mares enjoy so freely and openly.

I want to see Spike find a spell to turn himself into a male pony, so that he can trick Rarity into going on a date with him.

 

Rarity will seem to be fooled - but really won't be, and will reveal as much near the end.

 

Spike will decide to switch back to himself (not an easy decision for him), but will require that the spell be broken by some magic from Rarity. Unfortunately, she will have hurt her horn somehow previously in the episode. Luckily, a kiss will also reverse the spell...

 

Twilight: "Wait! It says that there's another way to transfer the reverse spell..." [shows spell to Rarity]

Rarity: [reads spell] "Oh!"

Pinkie Pie "`Oh?'...[reads spell] OHHHHH!" [makes you're-gonna-get-it smirk @ Spike]

Spike "Oh...what?"

Rarity [big grin, half-mast eyes, approaches Spike]

Spike [nervous laugh] "Heh heh...uh, Rarity, whatcha doin'...?"

I'd say, to be turned into pony is the only way out for Spike The Poor Sucker. Not because or Rarity, but in general. Otherwise, he is stuck in his misery.

 

I don't want to see a new male pony in season 4.

I want to see The Mail Pony.

Hasbro, has not denied or implied that the events of equestria girls will be implemented into season 4, they however said that it is unlikely that they will have any true relevance to the show, but lets just see what can be accomplished
