Played a match earlier where three of the enemy went mid... I got so stinking fed (Mostly because i had help from Riven).

1 thing i don't understand is why people buy Bloodthurster on Riven, Mal and I spectated a 2000 ELO ranked match, the Riven built BT...... Riven is a Off tank/jungler not a Carry, for me ATMOGS gives more AD than a IE, and for lifesteal I get Wriggles or Zeke's herald (only if my ADR needs more sustain).

People tried to build her like that at first, and were actually disappointed in her I believe. Then they built her glasscannon, went "Whoa, she deals a ton of damage and beats the crap out of most people" and never looked back. Her shield also scales off of AD, so it gives her some survivability while still wrecking face. Jax is similar now, with him building straight glass cannon while his ult gives him a lot of resistances so that he can survive while blowing things up, along with Poppy debatedly(depending on how you build her, since glass cannon-ish is viable on her).

 

Also, since when the hell did atmogs give you more AD than IE or BT? Pre-nerf, atmogs only gave you equal damage to IE when you had 4000 HP, and equal to BT(fully stacked) at 5000 HP. Post-nerf, it equals IE at about 5350 HP, and a fully stacked BT at 6700 HP. Yeah, that is pretty much never going to give you more damage than the two items designed to give you damage unless you have such an ungodly amount of health that it's not even funny, and even then you won't have resistances so you will probably have less effective health than somebody else(although I haven't done those calcs yet).

 

EDIT: Oh yeah, Zeke's I believe is also rather inefficient outside of a very heavy AD team that auto attacks a lot. Wriggles also doesn't scale too well into late game, although it is rather gold-efficient from what I remember if you take its passive and free ward into account, so I suppose it's still a good option.

When you ask i've either already said i'll play with someone or i ran out of time for a match and am just sitting there looking at runes and things I'll try and make myself more readily available. Also i think there might be a delay in our chat, as i always respond when you message me but it doesn't seem like you get them

Why would you get IE on Riven she is not crit reliant,

And while BT is viable i think it delays getting tanky to long to rush and even if you have your shield thats still only around 400-500 worth of shields you will still die quickly.

I never said to build IE on Riven. Sorry to be blunt, but if you actually read my post you would see that I never said to build IE on her, just to build glass cannon(although grabbing a FM after Brutalizer and the first BT is far from a bad idea). I was just pointing out the ridiculous amount of HP you would need for atmogs to beat IE or a fully stacked BT damage-wise, since you said that atmogs gave you more AD than IE, when in reality that only happens at an ungodly amount of HP.

 

Like I said before, too: Riven was found to be rather mediocre when she was built metagolem and to excel most when she was built glasscannon, thus building damage before tanky is considered to be the more viable route. The only time it would really be more viable to build tanky before damage is when either a)your team has plenty of damage as is(but that begs the question as to why the hell you picked Riven then), or b)you're getting beat heavily in lane. If b happens, though, then you're already going to be behind, meaning that when laning phase ends you'll be behind and not make much impact really regardless of your build.

Maybe... That'd suck if thats the case.

 

My most recent game Why I love draft some days, the option to counter pick is amazing. Remember kids, if they pick Olaf for top lane, Teemo is the way to go!

 

 

 

I was Queued with Valen (Tryn) a real life friend of mine. The Corki was fairly good, his early laning was pretty bad though >.<. Seriously though. This build is extremely cost effective for what it does.

So, yes, I played against beginner bots today. I used Ahri for the first time in a good long time, and... well, see for yourself.

 

 

 

I normally play as Alistar. I might want to switch my main from him to Ahri...

 

UPDATE:

REALLY funny hour long game with my friends.

Funny in the fact that both of them were lagging a bit and I was fine, and the Warwick would travel randomly around the map sometimes. He couldn't really control the Warwick... it would stop, change direction, or run in circles randomly. It was funny to hear him rage at my other friend about the Malphite hacking, then take a break when the Warwick did respond for a bit to yell at me. Not really yell, but...

I like all those except ToG really, Then again I just dont like Arch angels all that much because of how long some champs take to build the sucker. Ahri has some rather large CD's making it a bit inefficiency. I build her like Malz, RoA and Rylais, Rabs, then WotA. Just my take on her so you don't have to take that to the bank or anything.

My friend and I had fun with some custom games last night. They were just bot games, which we dragged out really long to mess around and have fun.

In one game, he built 5 phantom dancers and boots of mobility on Kat, for the hell of it. He went 52/4/4.

I built 4 Warmogs, boots (don't remember which), and a trinity force on Nasus. I could not die. I tanked towers for fun. I farmed Q to around +400.

Best. Game. Ever.

 

Also, he is a really good Teemo. It's hilarious to watch him

First time Twitch in a non-bot game, and first time jungling him period.

 

God damn, it's like they were /begging/ me to kill them, especially that Swain. 0 sense of map awareness at all, even when everybody on our team was heading to him while he was AFK farming top later in the game.
