Well?

Personally, I enjoy Digimon Data Squad (despite most hating it), but I'm going with Pokemon on both questions. It's just a lot more enjoyable to me.

Well, you all?

I actually liked Digimon's anime more when I was younger. I found the digital world concept really cool and the digimon could actually talk (not just repeated say their own names).

As for games, I've always preferred pokemon. I started playing them at red version and here I am eagerly awaiting X and Y. Never played much of the digimon games, to be honest.

I disliked Pokemon when I was younger. I collected the cards though (Don't know why), but I always thought Digimon was badass and cool. So anime-wise: Digimon

For the video game part, I didn't even knew that Digimon games existed, so needless to say, I have no opinion on the matter

Game wise it's Pokemon no question.

And anime wise it is Digimon no question. Digimon was a lot deeper and asked some big questions that you would never see Pokemon asking. Really the comparison is ridiculous because Digimon wipes the floor with Pokemon.

Anime: Digimon - Had a lot more interesting characters and actually moved forward with each series, with different arcs for all of them even if sometimes they didn't turn out so well(like the fourth series), which puts it farabove "Ash and Friends" trying to be the best trainer ever in every goddamn Pokemon series(I wish they did more things like Mystery Dungeon or the Pokemon Chronicles). Also Myotismon was awesome

Games: Pokemon by a long shot - The digimon games never appealed to me much, but Pokemon was great in the first few generations, and they seem to be taking finally take the series further with Black & White and X&Y

You've been making quite a few topics. I assure you it's pure coincidence that I happen to be clicking on all of these topics of yours cuz they are stuff I like to talk about. :D

I've always preferred Digimon over Pokemon. Always. I loved Frontier (season 4) most of the anime but I also haven't seen it in a LONG time. >_<

Oh and I NEVER liked the Pokemon games after Gold and Silver. I just can't bring myself to play them.

Well I'll be honest I hardly watched the Digimon anime, so my opinion on its probaly biased.

Meanwhile I watched pokemon a whole lot as a child, use to have alot of episodes and a few movies on tapes(Still have Lucario and the mystery of mew on a DVD.) not to mention I also have been watching the anime again recently and am on like episode 120 of the series(Like episode 3 or 4 of season 3 :P.)

As far as the games, digimon had some decent games, I played some of them, some digimon data squad, digimon world 4, and digimon Dawn, but pokemon..

Ok excuse the fact I'm a pokemon nerd, a huge one, but I love the pokemon games, not only did I play them alot when I was little, but I still do! And I have basically all the games, or atleast a game from each generation(Or a few.) not to mention I own a good bit of the spinoffs.

I'm only missing some 3ds games, and I only have crystal as my Gold and silver don't work, pretty sure my blue and red still work, and i have leafgreen and fire red, aswell as emerald, I don't have my sapphire or ruby because I lost them, but yeah.

I also have Platinum and Diamond, and HG along with the 1st two pokemon ranger and pokemon mystery dungeon games. And I have pokemon rumble aswell as pokemon ranch. Along with Pokemon XD and pokemon Colosseum.

I use to have a pokemon pinball game to, but I don't have that.

Oh yeah and I forgot pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 along with hey you pikachu.

Did I mention my N64 is a Pikachu one?

Ok I'm done nerding out about pokemon, I think thats all my games(I think, but I probably missed one or two xD)

Regardless even if the digimon games didn't suck, the pokemon games are just so awesome and continue to be awesome, and also just have a special place in my heart, not to mention they where a big part of my childhood.

So if its not obvious enough I go pokemon all the way.

Wow this reminds me that I haven't played a Pokemon game in about 6 years or so. Haha

I remember watching the show when I was younger but it never really interested me or stood out, sure it was entertaining but that's about it and I think that's pretty much the same for Digimon to me.

I played maybe three Pokemon games in my life and I haven't completed them. I played Blue, Sapphire and Diamond. I know more about Pokemon than Digimon so both of my votes go to Pokemon.

For anime I voted digimon (Hell, where I live only the first two seasons were shown so I didn't know about the others untill a while after I started watching anime online)

Gamewise definitely pokemon, I do remember the first digimon game for the original PS and I still like it a lot more than the newer digimon games

I enjoyed Digimon and Pokemon when I was a young kid.

I collected the cards, games, and watched the anime series.

Now, I don't follow these anymore, but I plan on returning towards pokemon soon.

As for games, I guess I can say Pokemon, since I'm about to play Pokemon X, my first pokemon game ever. X/

*sigh* Pokemon is winning the anime vote? Guys you need to watch Digimon Tamers and tell me you still feel that way. That series especially just fucking tears you apart emotionally and is very philosophical and clever in how it explains and asks things.

Okay well I didn't vote because I never played Pokemon or Digimon as games.

But as for anime, I think Digimon is better, mainly because they could talk and it had a better storyline in my opinion. Also the characters were likeable and they didn't just focus on one main character forever. (ASH.)

I'm talking about the first Digimon and Pokemon by the way, I don't know about that new stuff. (Man, I sound old!)

When I was younger,I used to watch both Pokemon and Digimon animes. However,i've always loved Digimon waaay more.It was deeper, darker, the monsters could talk and looked more threatening than Pokemon.I still love it to these day...

On the other hand, with Pokemon,I liked it as a child too,but now,I don't anymore. It's the same damn thing over and over and it's driving me CRAAAZY!!! As for the games,I gotta say,I haven't played them yet

I am a fan of both Digimon and Pokemon but I like Digimon a bit better.

The anime of Digimon is really good and the characters actually get character development and achieve their goals unlike Ash Freaking Ketchum. (Although I'm still bitter towards sorato.)

Though for the games I would have to say Pokemon. Because until recently with the release of Digimon Adventure for the psp (Which I would kill for it to be released in North America) and Digimon world Digitize and its soon to be sequel remake on the 3ds Digimon games haven't been all that good or exciting.

I have never played any Digimon games, but I don't think there's any question that the Pokemon games are superior. Digimon games were really just cash-grab titles to help promote the show, whereas Pokemon started off as a lucrative and fun game series, and that's always been its strong point.

As for the anime series, neither one are really that great. Pokemon started off strong during its first season, but it's taken a massive decline in quality. Most of the show is filler, and there's very little pizzazz to it at all. Digimon on the other hand, while nothing amazing, at least has a structured storyline, characters with some honest personality, and some more mature themes. There is just a lot more substance to Digimon's anime than Pokemon's. I thought the first three seasons of Digimon were all relatively decent, but the more recent ones have been mediocre.

Digimon for both, I always had a love for the Digimon anime and I've still got the movie, I loved it before and I still do now, as for the games I never did play too much of either though I do have a preference of the Digimon ones.

The Digimon show was my absolute favorite show as a kid, I liked it even more than the Pokemon show.

However, the Pokemon games were the best games ever. Nothing beats the first two gens of Pokemon games.

I've to say Pokémon on both, yes i'm somewhat biased towards Nintendo. The games are a no-brainer though, they're far superior than the Digimon games. Technically i don't favor any of the animes here but since it's pokemon's only source of animation, i would rather go with that, even if the show continues to decline in quality.

Anime: Digimon all the way. The Pokemon anime feels like it has no character growth.

Games: Pokemon. Once you finish the Pokemon storyline, there are still things to do. Not so much with Digimon.

I may have only been a little kid, but I actually remember when Digimon was cooler than Pokemon. I remember seeing the Digimon movie in theaters. I loved Digimon, but when they switched from the original (Tai, Izzy, ect) characters to the new ones I stopped watching. It was the dude with the red dragon thingy. I don't remember it that well, I was only like 5. Now I do remember seeing several Pokemon movies at the theater. I also remember buying the living hell out of Pokemon VHS tapes, and cards. I've been a Pokemon nerd ever since I could talk, really.

The Pokemon anime wins. I don't know why I voted digimon. Both Classic Pokemon, and Classic Digimon were amazing in my opinion. The newer stuff...eh, I don't know if I like it so much.

Game-wise Pokemon wins hands down.

^ Digimon Tamers (the third season) was actually very, very good if you ever wanted to try it. I actually prefer it to the first two seasons of Digimon.

It's probably not a big surprise that Digimon is one of my favourite series of all time. I own the first three seasons on dvd.

I watched pokemon when I was a kid, just like everyone else. But it wasn't my favorite. However, I did watch adventures and tamers a few yeors ago. Adventures was okay, but Tamers was really good. It was kind of like neon genesis, but with likable characters and a decent ending.

As for the games, the only digimon one I played was Digimon World 4, which was decent. I've played most of the main pokemon games, and I generally enjoy them.
