What do you do when you listen to music?

I normally listen to House music, so i'll usually bop my head to the beat. If the song has lyrics, I sometimes sing along. And if i'm really bored, i'll dance to it.

Haha.. A bit embarrassing, but sometimes I catch myself air conducting to the song I'm listening to with my hand. I might also tap my foot in time with the rhythm or just gently nod my head along with the music with a small grin on my face. It really just depends on what I'm listening to.

I just sit back and relax to the music most of the time. Sometimes though if a really good song was playing I'd start to sing the lyrics but I'd make sure no one was around while I did that lol.

I walk aimlessly around in my own home. It's a weird habit, but I tend to do so. If I'm not at home, I just bang my head a bit while doing these kind of movements with my right hand, like a rapper would :V

 

And if I sit down, I always tap my foot at an inhuman pace, it's like I'm practicing blastbeats or something :/

Dance? What else would you do physically when listening to music? Anyway, I dance. But if you mean as you're sitting down or unable to move freely, I simply do nothing but listen.

Depends really. Pretty much all of the songs in my playlist are brony made songs, so you could probably assume what type of music I usually listen to. Most often I just bop my head, and sometimes I'll tap my fingers/foot with the beat as well. If it has lyrics, I'll occasionally lip sync, or even sort of 'act' as the singer, making movements that would fit in with the song as it's playing.

 

After which I'll pause for a moment and laugh at myself. xD

I mean, the music I listen to makes you wanna move, it makes you feel energetic (yea, that totally is a word), and it´s fun, so why not xD.

Idk, if it´s music that is more... calm, thoughtful I can just sit still and make my own thoughts about it, but I like to go with the beat/ rhytm.

When I am in my room, I often think about what the lyrics mean and how they could apply to me.  When I am driving, with no passengers, I will often sing alone and maybe smack the steering wheel like it is a drum or just move my hands like I have an air guitar.

It depends, when home behind the computer I sort of just bob my head and you know sort of like if I was the one actually making the music. Like, I have my hands on the keyboard then a fast buildup comes and I just like you know.. Sort of like in the video "bass cannon with Flux Pavilion". Meh, don't judge me! 

 

I'm too shy to dance in public but when I get started I become uncontrolable people think I'm way too hyper and it's just because I'm very fast. I'm very, very hyper when I get into that stuff but I hardly do since I feel awkward doing it.

 

 

When I'm driving it's also different, then I usually like bob my head while at the same time lifting myself a little on the seat so my head is going up and down and sideways. Lolz I'm a little weird.

 

When I'm outside I sometimes play the air guitar.

If it's an upbeat song, then I start tapping my feet against the ground, or drumming my fingers on any available surface. Since I listen to rock and not that many bands, the one which usually makes me start moving is

If I'm alone than I walk around while bopping my head to the beat. Sometimes I mouth the words to the song as well. I don't sing it out loud or if I do I only sing a couple words. I do some air guitar stuff too.

A couple things actually sometimes ill walk around at 1 in the morning or 3 in the morning with my Ipod in. I Often go longboarding with my Ipod as well. Most of the time i just play music from my laptop and play video games.

Well, most of the time, with the music i listen to (tech death), I play my games or just lie or sit down and just mellow out. Also if I go on long car trips and when I do my shopping, I always bring my headphones with me.

I tend to start bobbing my head when listening to House/Electro music. And if it contains vocals, I might start to sing along, but I generally only do this with songs I'm more familiar with.

 

When it comes to DnB and the likes, I'll mimic the drum pattern and/or pretend to play a drum. My favourite type of drum patterns have to be the ones from old DnB (known as Jungle).

 

Glitch Hop, Moombahcore and similar music, I'll tend to go along with the higher frequencies, jerking my body a bit or wailing my arms LOL.

 

Disco, I try to follow the bassline and pretend to be letting the funk out with a bass guitar.

 

And for Rock, I'll do a little air guitar riff
