mega thread Why did you choose your avatar/profile pic?

I chose my avatar before I even had a profile. I was looking through some pony stuff on DeviantArt, saw this picture, and thought "if I ever had a profile on a pony site, that would be my Profile Pic". Hence here I am.

 

The reasoning behind the epicness of the picture should be self-evident, but I will elaborate: First, there's Lyra. She automatically makes everything 40% cooler. Then, we have Trixie levitating a slice of pizza- what's not to like about that! There's also Vinyl utilizing her "Imagination" (bonus points if you get the reference) and Dinky doing...whatever it is she does.

 

BTW, if the user Shadawg from DeviantArt is on here, thanks for making such an awesome profile pic for me, even though I don't know you from Adam.

• I drew it myself. I son't usually use profile pictures drawn by other people, because I feel uncomfortable using them... dunno why. But I still do so sometimes.
• It's my ponysona, so it represents me, so it is best fit for my avatar.

Because I just the United States of America! My love for America comes from the deep bottom! I've loved America since I was a little kid who used to enjoy drawing flags of countries all around the world. Even though I'm from Vietnam, which is a half of the globe from the States and we had war conflicts from the terrible war. But this year celebrates 20 year-anniversary of the relation between the two nations, I'm very glad.
