Please people, there is no clean, there is only degrees of perviness =p Everyone has hormones. It is impossible to be clean your entire life.

True, True,

But What I meant by clean is that I have never seen Pr0nz and never will.

I believe I did that one time, but with Rainbow Dash lol

Yeah, same here lol. I felt something fuzzy curl up next to me while I was sleeping and I instantly thought "PONIES!!" then cuddled up to it.... turned out to just be my cat XD

When I firstly started to watch MLP, I always quickly skipped the theme song. It made me feel like I shouldn't be watching it.

I did the same thing. I couldn't stand the opening when I first started watching it. Now I love it lol

Umm... I have a few confessions I guess

1. Rule34 doesn't bother me. Doesn't mean I enjoy it, but If someone wants to look at it, it's their choice

2. I actually can't stand the gorefics. Normally gore doesn't bother me... but when it's ponies, I think their blood and organs should remain INSIDE their bodies. Otherwise it makes me sad :(

3. I actually believe Equestria is really out there somewhere (multi-verse theory) and if I could have one wish, it would be to be reborn in Equestria when I die

Yeah...that last one is weird... I know

I agree with all of those except the last one lol

I don't mind R34 or clopfics, but I can't stand gorefics like "cupcakes"

I've had a theory for a while that everything that has ever been imagined ever may exist in some plane of reality. So, you may be right.

Yeah, I read Cupcakes just to see what the hype was about..... I now wish I hadn't  Maybe it's because Rainbow Dash is my favorite, but that story just ticked me off

Yep! That's the same theory I have as well :)

I found cupcakes to be so horrifying and sickening that I actually decided to watch an episode of MLP just to purge it from my mind........and that's how I became a brony :D

Yep! That's the same theory I have as well :)

My confessions? I have several.

First of all, I am a small fan of clop at times. And mostly am not disgusted/mind it when I look at it.

Secondly, this fandom annoys me quite a bit sometimes. Particularly, the extreme intensity some people seem to have for ponies. I always feel rather left out of it because honestly? Ponies are not my everything. There are many things I like more than ponies. I'm just in it for casual entertainment.

But especially those who hate humanity/think it's evil and think the world's nothing but bad and want to escape to Equestria to get away from it. Such negativity irritates me to the max, because I think most people who say these things are just young and haven't experienced enough of life yet. (I don't mean anyone any offense if they have such beliefs, nor do I mean to stir conflict.)

I also have no interest in background ponies, and am really confused by the fabrications of personality and intense analysis some people make of characters who appeared for five seconds. I guess some people just have... a really deep imagination.

Similarly, I don't understand the fascination with Trixie. And admit that the intense fanatics of her are making me dislike her as opposed to just the neutrality and uncaringness I felt about her before. I've already detailed this in another post though.

And I very much dislike the phrase "brony" and don't like being referred to by it. Especially since I am female. That's just my opinion though.

Lastly? I don't like how this fandom seems to elevate itself above all others as though we exist in some sort of higher and holier than thou plane. Some seem to be under the impression that being a brony is akin to some sort of religion or a way of life or cultural phenomenon that is superior to non-bronies. The phrase "love and tolerance" truly annoys me as merely being associated with MLP fans, as opposed to not being associated with everyone else. It's something that not just bronies aspire towards. There's plenty of others that do. And like other fandoms, there's definitely people who don't do that. Many, in fact. Because this is the internet and you're definitely likely to find people who act truly awful; brony or not. All being a brony is is just being a fan of the show. That's it. I'm not sure why that gets lost along the way.

Sorry about this rant, but... I just had to confess these things. I mean no offense if you disagree with me. These are just my opinions.

Honestly, the more I see here the less I want to see.

I most likely am never getting involved in fandom. I made a OC rock that's a alicorn for lulz. I can't see myself deving a huge thought out story of an imaginary pony TBH.

1. Does mah love for Applejack count? Since she's basically the pony version of mah dream girl, I think its pretty justified (I'm flat out honest on this one. Well, she is ONE of the 2 versions of mah dream girl (s). Also, I'm not sure, but the word "casual entertainment" later in the paragraph kinda bugs me. Makes you sound like that you don't like this show all that much, and you only watch it to pass the time and get a few lols (I'm pretty sure thats not the case though. Just something that popped up)

2. Equestria does sound like a nice place to go after dying, but that's what heavens for :P (Of course, if your an athiest, I may have made you facepalm)

3. I seem to be one of the few who has this same thought. Background ponies never caught mah attention, but I don't mind the amount of dedication to some (I feel like some others get too much fandom )

I am not a person who does anything for the "lols." I watch it for entertainment, as I watch all shows. That's what I meant by it. I like the show, but I don't love it. Just because I express a lukewarm interest in something and am not as intense as most people, doesn't mean that I don't like the show.

I personally thought cupcakes was very mild, if I was the author I'd add a... well better stop talking

I also don't find the .mov series to be overly funny either, because its poorly written at times

I agree with you here. Ponies are awesome, I collect the toys and I watch the show and I go on these forums, but I like other things too. Recently I've been on a How I Met Your Mother kick. When I'm done catching up with that show, I'll move onto other things.

Ponies did not change my life. Ponies are simply another hobby that I thoroughly enjoy.

But especially those who hate humanity/think it's evil and think the world's nothing but bad and want to escape to Equestria to get away from it. Agreed here too. Listen, the world isn't that horrible of a place. I mean OK, there are truly horrible things that do happen here, but there are many good things that happen too. Occasionally, I wish that life here was more like life on Equestria, but then I remember that we are humans, not ponies, and that we as humans don't need to escape to a world meant for ponies. Rather, we should do what we can to make the world given to us a better place. Just because life seems easier on Equestria it doesn't mean that it's the life that we as human beings are meant to live.

I also have no interest in background ponies, and am really confused by the fabrications of personality and intense analysis some people make of characters who appeared for five seconds. I guess some people just have... a really deep imagination.

Now see, I like the background ponies. I like the fanonizations of these characters, particularly Derpy Hooves. It gives the fandom a little bit of spice and personality, and it's interesting.

Similarly, I don't understand the fascination with Trixie. And admit that the intense fanatics of her are making me dislike her as opposed to just the neutrality and uncaringness I felt about her before. I've already detailed this in another post though.

I don't like Trixie either. I've remained neutral about her despite her following, but I really don't understand what everyone sees in her.

And I very much dislike the phrase "brony" and don't like being referred to by it. Especially since I am female. That's just my opinion though.

I don't like being called a brony either. But I like the fandom name. It's funny.

Lastly? I don't like how this fandom seems to elevate itself above all others as though we exist in some sort of higher and holier than thou plane. Some seem to be under the impression that being a brony is akin to some sort of religion or a way of life or cultural phenomenon that is superior to non-bronies. This, so much.

In a similar way, I dislike it when people say that they've "converted" to being a Brony or that they're trying to convert others. This isn't a religion. It's a TV show fandom. If you can't tell the difference, you... probably need to reevaluate your life. I don't mean to be judgmental but there are more important things in life than My Little Pony. It's not a religion, it's not a way of life, it's not a political party - it's a hobby. Perhaps an important or significant hobby, but a hobby nonetheless.

The truth about "love and tolerance" is, number one, the show never directly says "love and tolerance" anywhere. If we should have a catchphrase at all, it should be "Friendship is Magic." And number two, many bronies don't even practice love and tolerance. The phrase doesn't even mean anything anymore except that it's attributed to bronies.

I think that people think that bronies are better than other people is because bronies have actually started a cultural phenomena... a giant group of people outside the target audience for My Little Pony is making the show extremely popular thanks to the Internet. I'm not sure if the world has seen anything like this before. It's pretty incredible what the Internet can do to a show. But it's not like praise is being given to bronies everywhere. Quite the opposite, really. There are a lot of haters and people who don't understand the current brony phenomena, so there's a lot of social stigma about it. So bronies fight back... by trying to make it seem like bronies are amazing and awesome people who are better than everyone else. People like to fight one extreme with another because it's easier than compromise. And that's what's wrong with the world. :V

And on an entirely different note, I confess that I can't be bothered to read any MLP fanfiction. I've tried. I've given it a chance. And it's not that I think it's bad, but fanfiction just doesn't have anywhere near the same amount of charm as the show. And one of the show's charms are the visuals... so even though I'm a writer, I'm more of a fan of watching MLP videos than I am of reading MLP fanfiction, no matter how good it is. I even have some fanfiction ideas myself, but I don't know if I'll ever get to writing them because I know that there isn't really going to be a way for me to properly portray MLP through the written word only.

I'm sorta having a similiar except with Family Guy. I love that show and I keep watching, then at some point get sick of it and move one, but then I start missing it :P.

Also, I do admit, as much as ponies have made quite a change to mah personality (For instance, ever since the start of mah bronytude, I've not been as judging at many things and many people's interests (Mostly because we have to accept that many people think liking ponies is wierd (In a bad way :()), though there are plenty of things I deem "wierd" or taboo), they haven't actually CHANGED mah life. All its done is save me from utter boredom, given me a lot of mah creativity back (Which I already had but was bottling up for years without drawing :)), and made some of mah insights a little more positive. I still have a ton of mah old personality, like not-so-good manners, big laziness, using more profanity then a 14 year old is meant to yell out :P, a sarcastic/wierd humor side, and of course, a stubborn, slightly-spoiled, sometimes pessimistic attitude. That and the possiblility of sleep deprivation. I ALWAYS have dark shades on mah eye lids because I don't get a good amount of sleep, plus I stay up VERY late sometimes (Last summer, I would NORMALLY go to bed at 3:00 AM. Yes, 3 in the morning )

I only like the first 3 seasons of Family Guy, so I can't say that I would get onto a Family Guy kick.

See, it's OK for a TV show to have influence on your life, and if it's helped you for the better, then great. But you have to wonder, if a TV show has changed your life far more drastically than anything else, are you really making the most of your life?

Also, 3AM is a normal bedtime for Internet goers. :V
