Would us Humans take the Ponies in as refugees?

 

So in some alternate universe of Equus (the fanon name of planet which MLP FIM Ponies live), where a stoppable army of darkness like Darkspawn from Dragon Age slowly but surely begins to cover all the land. Who's hordes only grow in number, despite the millions of them they have killed. 

 

Canterlot is under siege from the Darkspawn, in desperation for their survival AlicronTwilight Sparkle uses a magic scroll to teleport a few thousands Ponies that are left to another universe... Earth where we live.

 

Granted, it would be no danger to the Ponies if they meet the dumb and weak alternate versions of ourselves who act like the Teletubbies.

 

But what about us, Humans? With the good, the bad, the dumb and the evil? And also Bronies.

 

Would we treat them nice? Or would it end up something like the movie District 9?

It would be a huge mess. Especially if unicorn magic worked in our world the government would be terrified of them. They'd be put in a camp while the debate raged, are aliens people, should they have any rights(especially since they resemble horses). Religious types would debate about if they have souls, if they're demons sent here to destroy us, etc.

Then if they're finally allowed to become citizens and intermingle with humans it would be:

Idk I mean I personally would take them in, and I think a group of people would, but like everything not everyone would agree to it, so of course there would be some type of conflict.

 

How it turns out I'm not totally sure.

 

Hopefully people would be understanding enough, i mean being kicked out of their own homes would suck, you don't even have to love mlp to want to help them.

 

But some won't, that's just how it'd go.

 

Hopefully the majority would take them in.

Some people would take in the ponies as refugees since there are some people that would take in ponies. While there are other people, that would turn them away.

Now that you mention District 9, yeah, I could easily see things going in that direction. People's fear of what they don't understand drives them to act like animals. They already don't understand bronies, which is why many are so quick to demonize us. But intelligent life in the form of ponies, arriving in our world en masse? We bronies would be quick to welcome them in, but for the rest of the world, it seems like it'd be a disaster waiting to happen...cue cavalry trumpets at the sight of the U.S. military (supplemented by gun-toting rednecks) advancing on our poor, possibly doomed pony friends. And those few who survived would most likely find themselves strapped down to tables, staring down the wrong end of a scalpel.

 

...Of course, we could only hope that Celestia and Twi could do something along the lines of creating a protective, magical bubble around all the ponies and seal themselves off in a glacier somewhere, to hibernate for the next few millenia while the ashes of the likely-forthcoming nuclear winter clear.

Depending, Well the people who did it, there would be people who wouldn't and people who would, it would honestly be a bad idea if too many came through, but It can be good in some ways.

It would be awesome. The ponies wouldn't need us to take them in, they have magic and we don't, therefore all of our military might would be powerless against them. And they don't just have magic, they have the magic of friendship, which means that not only could they resist us, they could fix our hate and war problems too! Earth would become New Equestria!

We are just animals with  the ability to question what is around us.

I think it would not turn out too well, but in that case we bronies (and warm hearted people) would let them in.

Though we do very often fear and overreact to different cultures.

I'm just thinking about how they'd react to knowing there's a show following them, and all the fanfics and clopfics. The ponies minds get blown twice, once because they're in the human world, the second time because they realize they were created in said world.

It would be nice if it was more like "Alien Nation," and humans incorporated ponies into our society.  I think that could happen.  I would hope that there would be a large demand from the general public to make the ponies citizens and to treat them as welcome guests.
