The third graders at my school (senior-high school, i.e they are 18 years or older) used this song in a very bad theatre show they had... It was just, no. I heard that song enough, they had a really awful performance in my opinion, but then again they aren't theatre students, so what to expect?

They used this song. I left the second i heard it on, I just couldn't stand, watching, anymore... I'm sure lots of people found it really funny and all, but I just didn't like it because it was so mainstream-ish comedy and everything was just so mainstream-ish-influenced... Well well.

I found it amusing for a little while but it's novelty wears off quite easily. I just thank the heavens it's not as obnoxiously over used as Gangnam style. Close but not that far yet as far as I've seen

To tell you the truth, I recently discovered the song randomly (I tend to keep my TV on when I sleep and when I woke up, this song was playing), at first I was like: Okay, I usually don't like the music on this channel, but that's quite okay...until that refrain lol.

 

Obviously a parody most people don't get it, I found it funny though. It still quite okay, not really my taste but I could probably listen to it...for at least 10 minutes.

 

To tell you the truth, I did not know this song was this popular, I never really heard of it from anyone around, unlike a certain Gangnam Style Song...

What does the Fox Say is another fun but annoying novelty pop song, up there with Witch Doctor, Crazy Frog and Agadoo. 

 

I don't think it's hard to see why people like it: it's just a silly song made for a laugh: I personally think it's a really embarrassing

I don't like the song because of the random noises, though it was quite funny the first time. Now it's just annoying. Same with the music video.

It was funny the first time I watched it, but now it's getting a bit annoying. It hasn't really spread to my area that much yet, thankfully, and I don't really seeing it becoming the next Gangnam Style.

 

I'd be fine with it if people could shut up about it and understand that it's meant to be a parody.

I seriously don't get this song at all.  A fox is basically a small wild dog, so it'd obviously make sounds similar to that of a dog, i.e. barks and growls.

I accidentally happened upon this song on Tumblr. I saw someone post artwork of Scootaloo asking, "What does the fox say?" and I didn't think much of it. I'm no animal expert, but from what I understand they're related to dogs, and I think some of them make a barking sound, while others can make very unique noises, as demonstrated here:

 

 

One of the sounds in this actually sounds familiar, as there are foxes in my area, and it's a sound I once mistook for a bird ("Fox Cry" at 1:41). ._.

 

Anyway, later on someone I follow reblogged a GIF set with a bunch of different cartoon foxes saying rather odd things (odd to me, at least), that's when I shortly thereafter found the (in)famous video on YouTube. To be honest, I couldn't watch the whole thing the first time. After I did, I still didn't really care for it. I don't understand why it's so popular either. To me it's dumb, has a rather silly premise, and the lyrics, especially the sounds, are just awful. It's just not my kind of music. I understand it's supposed to be a parody of what pop music is, so in that respect, I guess they did a decent job. I don't like pop music either, and in my humble opinion, it's just as bad. lol

 

Plus it can be a little annoying constantly seeing, "what does the fox say?" show up, but I don't let it bother me too much.

Ehh, it's not that bad. It's still better than Gangam Style, it's slightly better than Come Clarity. Although, that's like saying that my awful cooking is better than your awful cooking.
