New G.M. Berrow Applejack Book Coming In 2014

As an AJ fan this really made my day, I thought it would take a bazillion more years before they made a book starring Applejack. I am going to pre order this sucker ASAP.

A book starring Applejack? Well color me pleased as punch, because we're going to get a book that features our favorite Southern mare in a book that comes out next year.

Based on the description, that book sounds amazing. For once we're getting an Applejack story that deals with her honesty - blunt honesty at that. Applejack with a diary of complaints about her friends? I cannot wait to read how the most honest MLP character is handled.

 

I haven't read any of G.M. Berrow's previous MLP chapter books yet, so I am not aware of how good the quality of the stories are or how accurately the ponies are portrayed, but it sounds like she's found an exciting new way of pitting Applejack in a tough situation and getting her into some trouble, which I am definitely excited about. I'll be getting my hooves on that book one way or another.

I read "Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell" by G.M. Berrow and thought it was nicely done and really cute. My one complaint is that I thought Trixie and Gilda were rather under developed in the story. I would have liked them to have played a bigger part in the plot.

Picked up the book yesterday and gotta say I liked it

 

Its pretty good story involvng Applejack.

 

A few little nitpicks that got me scratching my head (Dont want to spoil it fer anypony)

But its a fun read.
