I see almost no people who like Applejack as best pony... I guess no one really is appealed with that sort of farmer attitude anymore...

I think if Applejack wasn't my favorite pony why would I bother being Applejack on the forums and Xbox. I love Applejack she is my favorite. I mostly do because me and her are alike because I'm honest and she is the element of honesty.

 

I think I already made my point from the above quote. There is alot of Applejack lovers out there just they don't show it as much as Rainbow Dash or Twilight etc. Sure it is true she doesn't have that much fans as the others but there still is alot of us. Also Applejack is best pony no doubt about it.

AJ ties for first for me with Rainbow Dash. AJ has one of the best personalities I've seen. Her one downfall is her inability to bear the loss of pride, as proved in multiple episodes, which is good-no one likes a perfect pony. She tends to overwork herself for the sake of her friends, and she's just as loyal to her friends as RD, without the bragging.

 

 

 

When I first watched MLP FiM, Applejack was my number one favorite. For most of episode 3 - The Ticket Master - she remained at the top of my favorite list. She was the only one with a decent reason to that ticket, AND she was the first to willingly give it up. But then after Twilight declares that if her friends can't go she won't either, Spike begins to get somewhat chocked up. AJ immediately turns on him. She doesn't ask, "Are you okay?" Instead she says in a very unkind voice, "Well wallop my withers Spike. Isn't that just like a boy. Can't handle the least bit of sentiment." She says this as she approaches him, glaring, while he holds his stomach somewhat hunched over. This immediately smacked her off my top favorite list. I do still technically like her, and I certainly like her better than Rarity and Rainbow Dash, but she just jumps in to be mean too quickly often making cruel generalizations on stereotypes. In the parasprite episode, she also said something mean to Pinkie Pie when Pinkie Pie was trying to make them listen. "Come on, girls, there's no reasoning with that one. She's a few apples short of a bushel." She says that right in front of Pinkie Pie! Let's not listen to what Pinkie Pie has to say, everyone. She's not smart enough.

 

1) It all depends on your perspective. She puts the emphasis on "that", saying "Ain't THAT just like a boy". Yes, she's sterotyping, but I choose to think it's in a friendly way. I think this way because I've said things as jokes way too many times that then got taken too seriously. She doesn't go to Spike and call him out for being weak-kneed, she teases him a little instead. And remember-Spike IS a male. She's sorta jibbing him a bit. As for cruelty to Spike, who might have been choking, nopony else actually went to do anything either. I might add that she was the one to actually walk up to Spike-she would have been the first to notice if something was wrong. There are telltale signs when someone is actually choking to death, and she woulda noticed right away. Since she did't notice anything, she thought Spike was choking for a different reason. Spike having said "I don't need any of this girly stuff" earlier in the episode referring to the gala, perhaps this was AJ's way of getting even for the female ponies, all in a friendly way.

 

2) "A few apples short of a bushel" This doesn't mean stupid, it means "You've got a few screws loose", in other words, weird. I think that's a perfectly fine thing for her to say, considering the 5 ponies thought they were saving Equestria by rolling the parasprite ball into the forest, and all Pinkie was doing (from their point of view) was bouncing around unhelpfully spouting nonsense about instruments.

AppleJack is my favorite! She became my favorite when she said the line, "Is everypony ok?" I keep trying to find what episode it was, but I know it was early in season one. I just loved how very adorably she said the line. She is easy to overlook because everypony else is more flashy, but I think her humility is part of what makes her Best Pony!

I do love Applejack. There just so happens to be about 4 characters that I love even more. Does she need to be my favorite for me to post here? Oh well. There are plenty of things to like about Applejack, even if she has been relatively neglected. Her hardworking nature, humor, and how infrequently she is portrayed negatively, etc. She'll never catch Dash but she's a good character who needs some appreciation

The Mane 6 are all good character so she does have a lot of competition, there does seem to be alot of love for her on these forums though. Yep Applejack is my favorite of the Mane 6, I can identify with honesty hands down me and my big mouth have gotten me in trouble quite a few times but it wouldn't be my life without my big fat mouth there with me.

Well I assume its because of the fact that she has had the least screen time I think of the mane 6 and has also been one of the more under developed characters. Hopefully that will change s3 though.

Its not that people don't love her, its just that people don't love her as much as other ponys. However don't get me wrong. there is alot of people here who's favorite pony is applejack, its not like none of them exist that's probably just why shes not as popular.

Last time I checked the Favourite pony poll Applejack was just a little bit ahead of Rarity so thee are definitely fans out there, just not as many of them as there are for other ponies. Applejack is my favorite.

Applejack is one of my least favorite characters in the whole show, and I would not be too devastated if she disappeared from the show and was replaced with a different pony. Seriously, I don't like her one bit.

No, I am talking about the episode where she broke her pinkie promise. She claims that she broke nothing because she never said she was going to attend breakfast, but that is bullshit. I still despise her, and I will always despise her, there is nothing anyone can say or do that will change my opinion.
