What is your favourite Playstation game?

I never really played a lot of original Playstation games before. The only one I can actually remember playing was some Parappa the Rappa game. It was pretty awesome.

Twisted Metal 2.

 

Hands down the greatest thing to ever grace that machine. I think I've spent more time on that game than all the games I have on Steam currently.

The first 3 Spyro the Dragon games. Man, I played those games so much back in the day, on my PS1. I never really was able to get much into videogames, but those games, man. I love me some Spyro.

Spyro: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. I would say the entire Spyro Trilogy, but I never had a chance to play the first game growing up, though if it's anything like the later two games it would no doubt have been awesome. Both these games were played to death in my household and just about every file was maxed out.

 

Two more great games that I feel I should mention were Legend of Dragoon and Legend of Legaia. Despite the fact that both are similar in many respects (titles,  JRPG gameplay, ect.) these games are not related in anyway. While Dragoon seems to have gathered a bit of a following since then, Legaia pretty much swept right under the public radar to the point that's it's now gained a status as a forgotten gem.

I will always remember playing Spyro: Year of the Dragon on New Years Eve of 2000 then having to quit without a memory card when me and my brother reached the last level once we finally entered 2001. Played it on the PS2 that we got for Christmas.

Original Playstation? Hoh'man Chrono Cross for sure! It was my entire reason to buying a Playstation! (So awesome!) It might of gotten a lot of flak for apparently not living up to it's predecessor Chrono Trigger but I'd never played Chrono Trigger prior to playing it so I went in with an open mind. (As you really should with any game!) Still among my top fav RPG games for sure!

Let me just say that the original Resident Evil was an awesome game. It was this intricately woven puzzle with everything trying to kill you. Between giant snakes and dogs jumping through windows and the awful dialogue, Resident Evil is one of my favorites. I just love puzzles

 

I also heard Final Fantasy IX was amazing. I'm downloading it on to my roommate's PS3 right now because I keep getting told that my life won't be complete until I play that game lol

I have heard that final fantasy 7 is the best final fantasy game ever made.. i actually have the game on steam and the story is pretty good though i haven't got far, though i will probably play it later

I'd say Ratchet and Clank, Kingdom Hearts, and Starwars Battlefront were the biggest games I burned so much time into. I'd just destroy my friends at Star Wars and worked so hard to get Ultima Weapon in Kingdom Hearts. Now my controllers are broken and I can't play them anymore

Final Fantasy Tactics. Not just my favorite Playstation game but my favorite game of all time, it is a time less classic that still is to this day the best one of is genre.

The spider man game.. from the first movie. I played that same game everyday for like a year.. to this day.. I cant stand the game anymore... ahh that and this one... I love all of his games...

Thats a very tough question but I guess it would be between Metal Gear Solid, Castlevaina Symphony of the Night and Fibal Fanasty 7

Theres a reason them 3 games are always rated in the top 5 of the original Playstation games there are great and I still play them from time to time

LittleBigPlanet 1 & 2.

 

The LittleBigPlanet games are probably the best PlayStation exclusives out there. Apart from the Infamous series.

With the nostalgia goggles maybe. It is however many peoples first rpg (including myself) so they are likely to say that. pretty solid game but looks abit weird as it was the first rpg of its size (and budget I believe) at the time. They best description of FF7's graphics i've ever heard is "it looks like some parts were made in secret from the other parts." probably refering to how the characters look all blocky moving about yet when in combat are detailed as all heck.

 

Game wise. My favourite games are Crash Bandicoot 1-3 (3 is my favourite). Final Fantasy 7- 9 (play wise i like 8 the most). other games i played were warzone 2100, Populous the Beginning, G-Police; WOJ, Gran Tourismo.

 

My all time favourite is probably Soul Reaver.

Spyro The Dragon, Micro Machines, and everything ever on Demo One. Nothing else springs to mind at the moment. Medievil was also amazing, but I had that on PC.

I used to love a game called Aladdin, Nasira's Revenge... My mum and I were stuck on one level for almost 5 years... we finally got past it and my brother cleared our memory card a week later... We weren't happy

 

Also Sheep Dog & Wolf, this one Spyro game I can't remember the name of... Rugratz search for reptar xD ooh... And a bunch of other disney hero games...

Spyro Year Of The Dragon.

 

My all time favorite playstation game. I was always a fan of the Spyro games. My first Spyro game being, well Spyro. I found Year of the dragon to be my favorite of the three games for the Playstation 1.

Hmmmm. Probably one of the Crash games, or Pac-man World. Didn't have the original PlayStation for too long. Had a PS2 for longer. If I was allowed to pick a PS2 game, I'd say Dark Cloud.

My brother was the one that played the playstation for the most part, but I liked to watch him play. My favorites to watch were the Resident Evil games, I specifically remember Resident Evil 2, and Chrono Trigger. 

 

If we're talking about the games I actually played myself, then I would go with Gex: Enter the Gecko and Glover. The problem is I might have played those on the Nintendo 64, since that was the console where I really started playing games for myself. Still, they are both playstation games, just not exclusives.
