Not at all. If Scootaloo got her cutie mark and the other two didn't, that would create an imbalance in the principal reason their friendship exists. The writers did well not to give it to her yet.

Ehh, not really. I'm not sure how I would feel about any of them getting their cutie marks yet. I'd rather them wait until the end of the show I think. I don't think Scootaloo or any of them getting their cutie marks in this episode would fit well, anyway. I probably would have mixed feelings if she or any of them got their cutie marks in this episode.

I'm getting the feeling they'll be getting their marks at the same time, almost like how the Mane 6 got theirs around the same time.

Whatever the case may be, it'd better be an episode even better than this one, because as it stands, it was too friggin' perfect of a chance to let up...

I had my hype face on at that moment but I'm glad she didn't (I'm saying that a lot today) get her cutie mark. The only reasonable way I can see any of the CMC getting their cutie marks is all at the same time and even then... writing a scenario for that would be a bit of a challenge.

The writers were clearly trolling and I'm honestly not sure if I'd rather them earn their cutie marks together or separately. My instant reaction was I'm glad they didn't and perhaps they will get them together like the mane 6 did.

Nope. On the contrary, I'm very happy she didn't get her cutie mark. I think it's too early for the CMC to earn their cutie marks and when they do finally earn them, it should be simultaneous. Having Scootaloo have her cutie mark before the other two would be pretty awkward, as she'd no longer be blank flank and wouldn't be subject to Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon's ridicule and teasing, and a huge part of the CMC's storyline is their feud with those two.

Besides, the lesson Scootaloo learned was far more important than a cutie mark. :)

Disappointed?  nah.

Did i get trolled?  Yeah.

it's a slight difference lol.  they didn't need to go all cmc about it "Oh God we're gonna get her cutie marks in"

and then they started to laugh about it.

that my friend is the very essence of being a troll.  They got it was annoying LOL at long last and did it any way.

I'm not disappointed at all, I'm not really surprised that Scootaloo didn't get her cutie mark. It's too early for them to get their cutie marks, we've seen the amount of attempts they have been through to get their cutie marks. Since they are young, they have a long time for them to get their cutie marks and it would be best to get their cutie marks simultaneously.

I think all 3 getting it at the same time would feel contribed.  Like the exact same moment?

Maybe as part of the same two parter, and yes the cmc getting their cutie marks could be part of a two parter.

It's gone on long enough where it should be part of a major story arch.

I kinda hope we don't see it coming.

Yeah, at the same time. I want to be surprised too, but a story arc only centered around them getting their cutie marks could take longer.

They should give one of the CC their cutie mark before the others. The imbalance is conflict, a conflict that would test their friendship.

Also, I'm tired of the CMC only wanting to get their cutie marks, have they no goals or aspirations besides that?

Why?

Allow me to explain. I'm all for conflict but, if each of them got their cutie marks separately it would start to build tension between them then they start to question their friendship because when they first met they became friends solely for not having their cutie marks and we all know the other reason.

I don't see how that's a bad thing. It would an opportunity to teach a great lesson, and if their friendship is true then the test isn't an issue.

A great lesson to see if they are loyal to each other in their friendship? I'm convinced, but there has to be a flaw somewhere.
