In three of the first four Round of 16 games, a Mane 6 pony was pitted against a CMC.  I couldn't vote against Fluttershy or Applejack in the first two...

We are now headed to full time here between Pinkie Pie and Applebloom with a score of 100-43 and with little fanfare, the CMCs are knocked out of the inaugural MLPF World Cup at the Round of 16. Nevertheless, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo stood strong against their respective characters, and they are to be congratulated for making it this far. I will in particular point out the dramatic 67-64 victory by Scootaloo over Princess Celestia as the CMC's high point of the tournament. I applaud you three, and may your personality and story continue to develop towards a cutie mark.

 

Now we move on to the second half of the Round of 16, where we begin with the winner of Group E in Rarity taking on the queen of dubstep in Vinyl Scratch! Rarity blazed her way past Group E, but faced a potentially tight game in a 99-64 win over Derpy Hooves. Vinyl Scratch on the other hand looked unconvincing in her 78-42 victory over Soarin and her deep loss against Twilight Sparkle. This will be the first time a background pony will have a chance to unseat a Mane 6 character at the World Cup. Will we see more of the same, or will we see an enormous upset in the works?

I Love 3d Renders ... and this has to be the best one of Rarity I have found. Look at the detail in the reflection of her eyes. Rarity herself would be pleased at the intricate amount of detail and hard work and creativity!

Rarity swept aside all three of her competitors, taking all 9 points, and a Voter Differential of +233 and 76.8% Voter Preference (Derpy had a major impact on that percentage.)

Take that attitude somewhere else, friend. Rules found in the OP explicitly state that kind of posting in the world cup isn't allowed, and if you were to go look at the OP, you'd find it to say "Only root for your pony, don't root against competitors."

 

Now, just root for Vinyl and let everyone have a good time. No need to try and tear ponies (or people) down like that.
