Well, I suppose I could talk about my normal life of being a house wife with 2 kids..... I just got done doing 4 loads of laundry, paid rent and the water bill, and am about to go out to do 2 weeks worth of grocery shopping. (Not that I don't totally own 2 rats, 3 cats, a dog, 2 parakeets, a 45g planted community fish tank, a cockatoo, breeding feeder mice, and a ball python.)

I turned 27 last December, still at the prime of my life and I feel younger than that most of the time xD

Interesting facts: I'm Italian altho I look more Swedish than anything else. I love anime, particularly given that Dragonball Z literally changed my life and my perspective when I was 12-13 years old. Star Wars was also my childhood <3 I also love athletics, weight lifting and am fascinated with martial arts.

 

 

 

When did you become a pony fan and how?

 

Like on my profile, a friend of mine from Saudi currently living in Poland introduced me to the show in May 2012. Before watching it, I never really thought much of the show, nor did I pay any attention to the fandom. While I didn't deem it weird (how could I when I've been an anime fan for as long as I have been), at first I didn't think it was really for me. Then I watched ep1. Then ep2. Then ep3. And the rest is history xD

Actually I do have something kind of adult-ish to brag about:

I've been looking for 'storage cubes' for a long time but I had no idea what they were called or where to buy them.  These things:

 

I'm seriously lacking in shelving space and these seemed like the most convenient solution.  I finally clued in to check Canadian Tire and, sure enough, they were there.  So I got one, and promptly filled it with toys, games and cartoons:

 

Gonna go grab another one today and use it for all my Transformers stuff.

What do I have adult-ish to brag about?

My PC.

 

She weighs 7.7lbs and has an Intel Core i7-3630QM clocked at 2.4GHz, with a Turbo Boost of 3.4GHz. GPU is a nVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M with 2GB GDDR5 video RAM, fully upgradeable to any mobile GPU using the MXM 3.0 interface. Right now she has 16GB RAM, but the motherboard maxes out at 32GB RAM. Keyboard is backlit with customizable backlighting. Has two hard drives, both independent of each other. Display is 15.6", and has a native resolution of 1920x1080. Runs Windows 8.1 x64. It cost $1400 to buy this machine, in 2013.

 

It can also display at least 30 moths at the same time.

Hm what I can brag about is that 2 years ago I was still like typical only-child used to everything being done for me at home, never had to bother about anything at all eccept doing my homework but even tho it was very uncomfortable for me, I decided to start studies on the other side of country so I'd have no other choice but learn to do everything myself and now I'm much muuuch more independent than I was at the beginning of this "adventure". ;D I'm very happy with all the progress I made so far and I hope there will be more. ^^

 

I'm also glad that I stood up to my family and decided to do something else than wha they planned me to do for life. It was quite a fight, very  stressful for both sides but I won. I still need to show them that it makes sense to give me money for these studies anyway and all this situation scares shit out of me every time exam session comes.

 

And finaly I'm so proud to be engaged to most amazing man I have ever met. ;_; In past 2 years he also helped me improove myself in so many important ways that if we'd break up, I'd still owe him A LOT and I'd never count time in this relationship as a wasted time.

My hubby doesn't claim to like the show, even says he's annoyed with it sometimes when I'm talking with friends about it too long. I've caught him watching it alone on occasion though.  His best friend has openy embraced it to the point where he starts up the conversation with me about it now.

I have the best freaking friends! I turn 29 on sunday, so when we met up for our bi-weekly Pathfinder game tonight, they syrprised me with a rainbow sky themed carrot cake with pony figures, including pinkie pie on it! Note: these are non-brony friends.
