remove p l e a s e ? 800 August 24, 2014 Share August 24, 2014 Yes. Very yes. I do this because it's to get away stress, when I have nothing to do, or to get an idea in my head. Also, my dad get's kind of irritated by it. out of my swamp
Redeye 399 August 24, 2014 Share August 24, 2014 (edited) I pace A LOT. I pace when i'm bored, or i'm pensively thinking about creative ideas or fantasies. I'm a sucker for storytelling. Abia 258 August 24, 2014 Share August 24, 2014 I pace in the bathroom whenever I am upset, I pace around my room whenever I am trying to find the words to articulate something and I always, always pace (usually in circles) when I am on the phone. My family hates it.
Odyssey 5,716 August 24, 2014 Share August 24, 2014 I do. I pace a lot when I'm either bored or thinking deep into things. -3-
The Crimson Cross 7,532 August 24, 2014 Share August 24, 2014 Apparently when I'm on the phone, I'll pace back and forth, but I'll usually just walk if I'm outside. Outside of phone calls, nope. I'm yet to discover myself doing it. I can see how people do it out of boredom, but I think that just going for a walk is a better solution! 1 Now with more added tea leaves! Gernia 691 August 24, 2014 Share August 24, 2014 i do it when I'm bored or if there is something on my mind that I can't stop thinking about. It causes my dad to randomly say, "Why are you pacing?", or "You're pacing again." SilverStarApple 849 August 24, 2014 Share August 24, 2014 MEEEE. I pace. A lot. I pace daily. It's good for the legs, it's good for burning calories, and it feels oddly right. You're still moving forwards. Then you're moving forwards in a different direction, nut you're still moving forwards. I was dead until the moment I met you. I was a powerless corpse pretending to be alive. Living without power, without the ability to change my course, was akin to a slow death. CuriousPony 157 December 19, 2014 Share December 19, 2014 I've been pacing since I was a kid. I tend to pace when I'm daydreaming (which I do a LOT). At least it's exercise, yeah? Me in a nutshell.
Neutral 1,185 December 19, 2014 Share December 19, 2014 Yes I always pace back and forth. My mum gets annoyed with it. I do it when I'm shooping with my mum or at home or anywhere else. Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,455 December 22, 2014 Share December 22, 2014 I don't pace back and forth (not always at least) but almost always when I am sitting, I rock back and forth, I have always done that. It really helps me relax and I often do it completely passively. I have autism, so that would be the link. If I am not doing that, then I am always doing something else that is repetitive, mostly I rock though, or maybe a combination.
Shadowed Watcher 183 December 22, 2014 Share December 22, 2014 I've paced back and forth my whole life, my dad hates it, he says it makes him really nervous. Understandable though, no telling what I can do when I'm essentially "afk" from my body, so deep in thought.
ghostfacekiller39 23,860 December 22, 2014 Share December 22, 2014 When I get nervous, yes. When I get anxious, too. When I want to say something or am waiting for something I will wear ruts into the ground by pacing back and forth so much. He who is Positively Obsessed With All Things Rarity!!! Handsome Changeling 1,851 December 22, 2014 Share December 22, 2014 I see pacing as something that will stress you out more or make you more anxious so I find it very pointless to do, it rarely makes me feel more at ease so it's fairly useless to me. Gernia 691 December 22, 2014 Share December 22, 2014 I do that a lot. In fact, if I'm not sitting down or trying to find something, I'm probably just wandering around aimlessly and dwelling on something, anything that's on my mind. My dad will sometimes point this out for me at home. Signature by Kyoshi Hymenoptera is the most superior order of insects. | I'm the best Street Fighter player ever... in my hometown. Washougal_Otaku 1,020 December 22, 2014 Share December 22, 2014 I do it any time I'm waiting for anything. I'm not a very patient person, plus, I once had a back injury that makes it difficult to stay still, be it standing, sitting, or laying down. :comeatus: Gimme some time to come up with something new, okay?
