If you vote singularly for just one character, they will only receive HALF a vote worth. Final tally will be (All Characters vote total) x 2 + (Single character total) x .5 = character's final total

Honestly, I love everypony. It's impossible for me to decide between Pinkie and Rarity because they're both awesome ponies. And as for Applejack and Fluttershy, really? I love both ponies. The only reason I voted Fluttershy was because she's my favourite favouritest! pony

Eh, you get use to it. There are those who stand out on forums, being forum famous doesn't mean anything. Those who are just kind of got that way too, I'm sure only the most hardcore Trixie fans are the ones who wanted, no needed, to be famous or they would die.

Let's say all characters gets 100 votes

Rarity by herself gets 20 votes

 

her total score will be 210 "votes"

(100 X 2 + 20 X .5)

 

it encourages votes to be for all characters than being a selfish Sally and just voting for your pony.

I find brussel sprouts and liver quite good if cooked right. Which nobody seems to do, unfortunately. They both need to be fried, with onions and lemon.  What?

I'm not quite sure I understand how the psychology of this helps, but let's see what happens.

They're all wonderful ponies! Each one's a valid choice xD

 

And you're being a bit harsh on Pinkie. Defining a character from a single, out-of-context, scene doesn't work too well. Fluttershy made both Pinkie and Rarity cry in "Putting Your Hoof Down", yet we both know she's as sweet as can be. Having no exposure to aggression before, there wasn't any filter for her new behavior regimen. I consider it a testament to how kind she truly is.

 

Pinkie's a carefree spirit who isn't always in tune with common social cues. There have been countless times I stray from my usual self and have to correct things in hindsight.

Yeah I can't really help with that. Hoping the all characters option cuts down on that because voting that helps their pony more than individually picking their pony
