I like my chicken on a scooter

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it save equistria with its five candy coloured friends and shoot rainbows at bad guys using their necklaces and tiara unless you're celestia

I love my ‘barbecue’ chicken, it’s marinated in soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic and white onions overnight.

Ironic that I see this thread pop back up because I've recently become quite good at cooking chicken on the stove. :D I love classic chicken breast, boneless, grilled or on a stove. I tend to use Creole seasoning (or a mixture similar to that) and Italian seasoning. I really enjoy fried chicken, but tender boneless chicken like what I make is what I prefer most. In fact I might make some soon. That's exciting. :3 The simple joys are best joys, tis my motto.

To me there’s only one true chicken dinner and that’s my mom’s fried chicken recipe. It’s classifiable as its own food group and I’ve never had anything like it anywhere else. It’s a masterpiece. Otherwise I do enjoy KFC, Popeye’s and the now defunct Pioneer Chicken, which was a southern California staple for decades and finally bit the dust from bad management in recent years. They used to have a franchise of over 200 restaurants but fizzled away to nothing. Terrible shame too, because it was a greasy, delicious miracle of artery hardening goodness.

Fried or deep fried?

I still don't know how to do deep fried.

I make all my chicken meals in oven. It is difficult to find good chicken here, so I don't have it often.

Fried and deep fried aren’t all that different. Deep frying is deeper submersion in hot oil. My mom’s recipe is just cooked in oil in a frying pan; not a huge difference. She also bakes it once in a while, and that’s pretty good too.

I love almost every type of chicken, my exceptions being buffalo and boned wings. Used to eat nothing but chicken nuggets as a kid and nowadays...I still eat plenty of nuggets! :ButtercupLaugh: Difference is I eat plenty of other things now.
