I honestly don't really have a favorite, but I do enjoy this song by Juice Newton.

 

Now I'm quite a young person, but I do enjoy listening to some 1980's music once and a while such as the song above.

I adore a lot of female vocalists for different reasons. Ellie Goulding, Anita Baker, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, Lorde, Lana Del Rey. In general, I just tend to appreciate vocals provided they're not objectively bad.

My favorite female singer of all time would probably be Anette Olzon, who was the lead singer for the symphonic/power metal band Nightwish from 2007 to 2012. Nightwish is one of my favorite bands of all time.
 
Another one of my favorite female singers would be Simone Simons, the lead singer for the symphonic/power metal band Epica from 2003 to the present. I've only become a fan of Epica recently, but they're pretty awesome.

There is no denying my love for Lzzy Hale from Halestorm. Lzzy has such a strong and powerful voice which is one of the many reasons why Halestorm is my favourite band.   

 

 

Another is Sharon Den Adel from Within Temptation. What a beautiful voice!

 

 

And then there's Ariel Bloomer from Icon For Hire. In certain songs she's a bit fast so she might be hard to understand, she's great nonetheless.
