  1. Probably Rarity, she seems to have a huge greed problem sometimes. And while there are times where she does show her generosity, they are very few in between compared to the rest if the Mane 6
  2. Is this seriously an unpopular opinion? I mean, I always though Jim Carrey being the best actor was a pure fact. As for me, got a couple more Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is better than Temple of Doom, even though Shia Lebouf sucks compared to Shorty Megaman X3, despite having a couple of my favorite songs(Gravity Beetle and Crush Crawfish, to name a few), has one of the series weaker soundtracks, while also holding some of the worst songs(Volt Catfish, Neon Tiger) Megaman 8 was the best game in the Classic series I liked MGS2 Raiden more than MGS4 Raiden The Arbiter is better than Master Chief Final Fantasy VII is my least favorite of the PS1 Final Fantasy games(including Tactics) despite being a fantastic game FFVIII's Sorceress Adel is manlier than Kefka, Sephiroth, Kuja, and Seymore combined Gilda is one of the best MLP antagonists and I would love to see her come back They should make a prequel to FFVIII starring Laguna Stacked Lays>Pringles Metroid Fusion wasn't the hardest Metroid, but is in fact the easiest
  3. I always loved the idea of Firefly being a relative of Rainbow Dash in some way, whether it be her mother or an ancestor. Also Tirek would be pretty sweet as a villain again in the future
  4. 1. How do you feel about shipping between the Mane 6? I don't care much for shipping in general, let alone shipping between the Mane 6 2. In your opinion, which ships between the Mane 6 make the most sense? The least sense? While I actually love how close Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are, or Rarity and Fluttershy, but regardless, I don't think any of them make much sense 3. If any, what ships do you support between the Mane 6? None, but if I had to, I prefer relationships between characters rarely seen with each other(Rainbow Dash+Rarity, Pinkie Pie+Applejack, Twilight+Fluttershy, etc.) 4. If two of the characters actually did engage in a relationship, how would you feel about it? Do you think that it would do more harm than good, or vice versa? ehhhh.............

    movies/tv Best movie of 2012?

Based on all of the movies I watched this year, the ones I loved the most: 1. Avengers 2. Skyfall 3. Wreck-it Ralph 4. Dark Knight Rises
  6. I started with the first episode and I turned out just fine Just as food for thought, there are people who like to start out with the first episode of any show
  7. - Rainbow Dash - 97, My fav, despite some issues - Twilight Sparkle - 96, While Rarity is my second favorite, Twilight has the edge due to being more relatable - Pinkie Pie - 82, While a very fun character, sometimes I feel like she doesn't learn from some consequences - Applejack - 91, I kinda thought she was boring at first, but after a while, she really grew on me - Rarity - 95, due to making a really girly girl great without making her shallow - Fluttershy - 83, Would be higher if it there was more shown about her other than being shy/being a wuss - Spike - 87, He's always there when they need him, but sometimes he can be a real dick at the worst times(Winter Wrap up comes to mind) - Derpy - 57, I'm sick of hearing about her, it's especially frustrating when I hear "lack of Derpy" as a legit complaint about season 3 - Vinyl Scratch - 82, my favorite BG pony, I'm kinda meh on dubstep, but I love her mane and glasses - Octavia - 78 - Lyra - 80 - Colgate - 75 - Berry Punch - 77 - Dr Whooves - 70 - Bon Bon - 68 - Sweetie Belle - 85, I think she's really adorable as well has having a great singing voice - Applebloom -79, I like her and all, but I think they've given us a little too much of her, and I'm a little tired of her - Scootaloo - 92, my favorite CMC, especially with Sleepless in Ponyville showing that there's more to her than just being Mini-Rainbow Dash or RD obsessed - Babs - 83, I hope we get to see more of her soon - Big Mac - 85, will be higher if they give more lines than just "eeyup" or "enope" - Spitfire - 84, I was a little neutral about her, but I adored her in Wonderbolt Academy - Trixie - 60, A decent antagonist, but like with Derpy, some people's obsession with her makes me cringe - Cheerilee - 88, my favorite secondary character, so it's kinda disappointing not to see her in S3 much - Shining Armor - 83, like with Babs Seed, I need more of him
  8. Okami. This is what you get when you take the Wolf segments from Twilight Princess, and make it 100x better. Unfortunately low sales and being released at the end of the PS2's life cycle made it go unnoticed and ultimately killed Clover Studios Viewtiful Joe series is also great, and sucks that Capcom still won't make a third game And God Hand. All hail the Clover Master race
  9. I think something family-friendly like a Kart Racer, a platforming adventure, or something along the lines of those genres would be suited for an MLP game, though personally I'd love to see a fantasy RPG
  10. - Favorite Main 6 - Rainbow Dash - Favorite background pony - It was tough between Cloudchaser and Vinyl Scratch, but I went with Vinyl Scratch - Favorite CMC - Scootaloo - Favorite princess - Celestia - Favorite location - Canterlot - Favorite episodes - Season 1 - Best Night Ever - Season 2 - Hurricane Fluttershy - Season 3 - Sleepless in Ponyville - Favortie song - Babs Seed - Favorite season - Season 3 This poll lacks a best supporting character category, for which i vote either Spike, Zecora, or Cheerilee
  11. Sleepless in Ponyville is my favorite. Being a fan of Scootalove, it had pretty much everything I wanted in an episode since the beginning. My least favorite of the season is likely the Crystal Empire, the only real worthwile thing was probably the fact that Spike was the hero
  12. I think most of the Rainbow Dash episodes(admittantly, including Mare-Do-Well) are pretty easy to get nonbronies to watch, I know a lot of people who got into the show through Read it and Weep and Sonic Rainboom in particular. Some other episodes like Lesson Zero and Feeling Pinkie Keen also would probably work as well
  13. 1. Twillight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. My number one has been there since the beginning, though I have troulbe deciding who should be three and four
  14. I never got all of the hate Polsky got to begin with I've loved most of his episodes. What was it that people hated again? Something ridiculous like attacking athiests?
  15. On been active on here since December 20th, yet I've only had about two and a half days worth of activity. Funny, I was expecting a bit more
  16. Just recently, No More Heroes, but I'm also pretty big on the Megaman, Megas XLR, Metal Gear, Nintendo, and Final Fantasy Fandoms, and to a far lesser extent, WWF/WWE. I used to be part of the Dragonball fandom, but I left due all of the fighting. So many Dub vs Sub Wars. Original Vs Kai. Elitist pricks of the original Dragon Ball. Kai fans acting like snobs. Lets not even begin to go into the Funi Vs Ocean wars. I think I've said to much. I'm not one to talk down on fanbases, but I had to get that off my chest
  17. I still find these fan theories hilariously outlandish, I mean seriously. Especially the part where Angelica dying of drug overdose led to All Grown Up getting cancelled? Dil dying of a brain hemorrage after getting hit by Angelica? Who the fuck comes up with that stuff? Ya know though, Angelica dying doesn't actually sound like a bad idea....
  18. Maybe I'm just easy to please, but I think this season has already beaten season 1 and 2, and it's not even done! This season has been giving me episodes that I've been waiting a while for, and other episodes that I've been able to rewatch more than the other seasons. On top of that Season 3's weakest episodes still manages to reach "Good" territory, while the last two's weakest ranged from "mediocre" to "awful" Sometimes I feel like this fanbase is so worried about the show's fate that they're trying to make things sound worse than they really are
  19. My two cents It'd be a good idea imo to start with FFIV(II in the US), FFVI(III in the US), or FFIX, since those are widely considered the Holy Grails of Final Fantasy games
  20. I got more: King of the Hill(got the idea from that tumblr earlier ) Hank Hill - Applejack Dale - Pinkie Pie Bill - Fluttershy Boomhauer - Rainbow Dash Bobby - Applebloom Joseph - Scootaloo Connie - Sweetie Belle Peggy - Trixie Khan - Rarity Nancy - Twilight John Redcorn - Zecora Cotton - Granny Smith Lucky - Spike Luanne - Derpy Gurren Lagann: Simon - Fluttershy Kamina - Rainbow Dash Yoko - Twilight Kittan - Applejack Nia - Pinkie Pie Leeron - Rarity Viral - Gilda Lord Genome - Celestia Antispiral - Chrystalis Super Smash Bros(because shut up): Twilight - Samus Applejack - Link Rainbow Dash - Captain Falcon Rarity - Marth Fluttershy - Pokemon Trainer Pinkie Pie - Kirby Spike - Ness Scootaloo - Sonic Sweetie Belle - Lucas Applebloom - Diddy Kong Big Macintosh - Donkey Kong Shining Armor - Mario Princess Cadance - Princess Peach Princess Celestia - Princess Zelda Princess Luna - Solid Snake Spitfire - Fox Soarin - Falco Gilda - Wolf Iron Will - Bowser Chrystalis - Ganondorf Braeburn - Roy Flim/Flam - Ice Climbers Trixie - Meta Knight Discord - King Dedede Lyra - Luigi(I'm starting to run out of ideas here) Granny Smith - Mr Game and Watch Zecora - Olimar Blueblood - Wario Lightning Dust - Pit This is fun :3
  21. I remember when I first found out MW wrotes this episode I, well yelled some pretty unpleasant things. I've grown to like her episodes throughout season 2 but the last time she wrote a Rainbow Dash episode, things got....nasty to say the least, and I was absolutely surprised that they decided to have her write RD's season 3 episode. Imagine my surprise when she manages to write not only the best Rainbow Dash yet, but also my favorite Rainbow Dash episode, knocking off Sonic Rainboom from the top. That's not to say I had a few nitpicks, but in the end of the day, they're just that, nitpicks What I liked: -Rainbow Dash at her finest -We got to know more about the wonderbolts -Spitfire, it's great to know how her postion in the Wonderbolts works -Lightning Dust was a great foil for Rainbow Dash, and how we slowly see more of what she's like -Applejack's "It's a Twister!". I dunno why, that line is just so stereotypically hilarious -The return of certain background pegasai(especially since Cloudchaser and Thunderlane are my favorites), including Mr."YEEAAAAH!!!" -Unlike most people, I actually really liked Pinkie here, normally, I find some of her antics and craziness more annoying, but when they mix them with concern for her friends, I find them absolutely adorable What I didn't like: -I didn't mind Spitfire role here, but I felt like it would've been better if they used a completely new pony as the drill sergent figure -No Soarin -It felt like the perfect opportunity to have a Wonderboltized song based off of Mulan's "Make a man Out of You". So I was pretty disappointed that that never happened -Some of the Pinkie Pie scenes could've been cut, it felt like they ate too much time -I'm torn on the ending. On one hand, the alternate ending had more closure and I would have been more satisfied with it. On the other, I think the current ending was left open to give for another time to be explored further, which means more wonderbolt action and a possible return for Lightning Dust Before this episode I was hoping that MW would never write a Rainbow Dash episode again. But after this one(amd to a lesser extent Spike at Your Service), now I really excited to see what more she can do with Rainbow Dash Final Score: 9/10
  22. I still want a canon moment where Rainbow Dash and Twilight rip each other and their friends apart for their actions in both "The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well" and "A Canterlot Wedding" respectively Basically, "Friendship is Empathy: The Episode"
  23. This episode wasn't as big for me as the 3 episodes, but this was still a great episode for me and shows how well Cindy Morrow is with the Apple Family, plus it was great to see some much needed development for Applejack. But in the end, I still had more problems here than in other episodes, I won't lie. What I liked: - Applejack wasn't overshadowed by her family, or by certain background characters. - Applejack got great development - Baby Applejack! - The lack of Applejack's parents didn't really bother me much, and I liked the indirect confirmation of their fate without any depressing or sappy moments - The return of certain family members like Babs Seed and Braeburn(did the Orange's Show up?) - New members like like Apple Rose and Aunt Applesauce - Applejack getting the solo she deserved for so long. She sounded amazing in it, despite the songs simplicity What I didn't like: - I had a couple problems with Applejack. How could she not tell that the rest of her family didn't enjoy the festivities, especially when two episodes before she was the only one who could tell that there was something wrong with Scootaloo - I feel like Big Macintosh got the shaft. While Applebloom and Granny Smith had some beefy parts, Big Mac hardly did anything, which sucks considering what it was about. - I was disappointed that Braeburn didn't have any speaking parts. - We still didn't get to see AJ's parents, and while I don't mind if they're dead or not, I'd still wish we could've seen them I still really liked the episode because it hit most of the expectations I was expecting, but there were a lot of problems in the episode that really irked me. While it wasn't as great as some of her other episodes, in all it was still a solid episode, the song was adorable and shows how Cindy Morrow continues to be my favorite writer. Final Score: 7.5
  24. Polsky and Williams doing the same episode? That's a pretty dangerous combo. Regardless, much like the jump from Mare-Do-Well to Wonderbolt Academy for Rainbow Dash, this episode was also a huge improvement over William's last Spike episode Dragon Quest, on top of also being a solid Applejack episode as well. What I liked: -All the characters(save for Pinkie Pie) were very well written despite a few hiccups, and had some of my favorite character interactions in the series -Spike interacting with someone other than Rarity or Twilight, that alone deserves some points -Rarity teaching Applejack how to be a damsel in distress -Rainbow Dash's novel bit, self insert fanfiction ftw! -The animation was some of the best. High quality animation seems to be a common trend in Merriwether Williams episodes -Rainbow Dash used Rock Smash! It's super effective! -Spike's dedication to his code -The fact that Spike could tell the fake Timberwolf -Ending was adorable -Episode was cliche, but it didn't stop it from being fun What I didn't like: -Spike suddenly being clumsy, though he has been known to screw up in the past, it felt too much here -Pinkie Pie felt like she was only there for the sake of comic relief, and felt unecessary -It wasn't very memorable compared to the other episodes Despite the minor nitpicks, I still loved it, and if Merriwether keeps this up she could soon become my favorite writer Score:8/10
  25. I'd say it's episode 8. I'm leaning on that it'll start with Rainbow Dash needing someone to watch after Tank while she was at the Academy(hence why he wasn't in the episode, and maybe even explain the alternate ending), and over time the other ponies would need Spike to watch their pets for whatever reason I can't come up with right now
