  1. For what it's worth, I thought the whole thing was nicely put together and a lot of fun for a while. It's a shame idiots spoil stuff like this. Thanks for all the work you put in.

  2. I've never seen anything like your work-here or anywhere else. True art is creating something that wasn't there before. It's not really my style, but make no mistake-it's creative as hell. Well done.
  3. She's beautiful. You really have a talent there-thanks for sharing her with us.
  4. Hi-I read a lot of posts by you, and find you thoughtful and articulate-thus I have added you as a friend. Hopefully, this meets with your approval. :)

      You are most welcome sir.

  5. 8/10. Would have been moar if it was Applejack. :-D
  6. It does seem that her character would see a lot less screen time if they did go the route of having her full time in the Wonderbolts-Unless they plan to have her teach the others the power of friendship. As far as wars go, it's a bit of a touchy subject for increasingly large numbers of the population-cartoon or no-and I think viewership would drop off at an alarming rate.
  7. I thought as you do when I was younger-currently I've been married to my best friend for 18 years. I had gotten to the point where I thought there was no-one for me, and that I would be alone-and I was kind of o.k with that-when I met her. Somebody already said it-but the relationship is based on both of you putting the other one first. I know opposites attract and all-but if one of you is a giver and the other's a taker, it's probably not going to work out. Trust is absolutely the most important aspect to a long term relationship. You have to be able to be completely vulnerable with each other-probably the hardest thing for me to learn how to do, but it can be learned. Even if the two of you love each other to the moon and back, there's still a lot of work to do to make the relationship work in the long term, and it starts with learning to trust. For those of you who are waiting for the perfect person to come and make all your dreams come true, here's the thing. There's no such person for most of us. You are 2 halves of a team, who work together, have faults and idiosyncrasies that make the other want to scream sometimes, and who walk the road together. When one of you falls-and you will-the other picks them up and you continue on. Failure is not an option-neither is going on without the other. These are the commitments you make that last a lifetime.
  8. Yeah-it started off being Fluttershy, but I ended up with Applejack. AJ's a bit more steady and relatable to me-FS tends to go a bit nuts sometimes with the whole assertive thing.
  9. It may be that you're analyzing all this a wee bit too much. The existing premise as a stand alone-you are required to buy into a world ruled by an Alicorn, and populated by horses who talk, and can either fly or have magical powers-or in some cases have neither or both. In short, it's a cartoon aimed at kids. To level this kind of scrutiny at it may find it wanting in many areas. It's not written with an in-depth analysis in mind-in my opinion it's there to be enjoyed as it is, for what it is. No offense intended-Just my $.02 fwiw.
  10. Very good storyline. I'll be interested to see how his story unfolds.
  11. There was a show in the late '90s called Millennium-it was by Chris Carter, who did The X Files, and it was great. Lance Henricksen starred in it-really dark subject matter, but very well written.
  12. No-there will always be people coming and going, but something this big and self perpetuating isn't going away any time soon. People will keep it going with RP and fan art long after the show has ended-and I read the other day that the folks at Hasbro are wanting at least 5 more seasons of the show. When you find something you love, and that makes you happy it's natural to worry about it going away-but I don't think we have any cause for alarm.
  13. Had to update my 'about me' page, after the whole thing disappeared. Included a link to my OC's backstory, if you're interested.

Yes-I made him my age. I know he's not a traditional MLP character-but he kind of just showed up in my head as he is. It took me a while to draw him and get his backstory straight-but he's finally free. I haven't done any RP's yet, but he'll make an appearance somewhere I'm sure.

I guess that's the first question I should've asked :P What I meant is, do you update his age whenever you have a birthday?

Gunslinger may not be traditional, but he's certainly got character ;) His story stuck with me, and I'll be diligent if our OC's are in the same RP x3 I'm sure we'd be allies in most scenarios though.

Yes-my birthday is his birthday, so GS will be 44 on may 28th.

I see him as being cautious at first, but if you win his trust he'll be a good friend and a powerful ally.

  14. My time is past. I am Gunslinger-I walk the earth in limbo, until the curse is lifted.
  15. Hey-thanks for the friend add. It was nice talking with you. :)

Yeah. I'm glad to be friends with everypony. *Smiles*

  16. I haven't seen any of them either-I'm waiting until the end of the season, so I can watch them all at my own pace. I do that with every serialized show I watch-don't like to wait for the next episode if I feel like watching it now.
