  1. Unicorns. That may or may not have been influenced by getting into MLP:FiM.
  2. I would have been happy with Grey - if it were a 3DS game. Because I have a 3DS and Black/White apparently don't look all to great on the 3DS, so I was actually waiting it out for Grey and hoping it was going to be on the 3DS. But that aside I'm happy that they're going for a sequel instead.
  3. Personally, I'd love for it to be like G/S/C - The game takes place in a new region, but then you get to go to the old region (Unova) afterward. However, I have no clue what we can expect here, as an same-generation sequel is completely unprecedented for this series, and I don't know how much time it would take them to create a new region.
  4. That would be pretty neat, actually. Although I've actually grown to the idea of R/S remakes. R/S remakes with day/night system would take away a good bit of what I disliked about R/S. Although with B2/W2 I don't know what to expect. It may take place in Unova in the future instead of a different region.
  5. Super Paper Mario, and I never played it.
  6. I can tell that you are completely missing my point as well, and I don't want to continue arguing something where I am completely outnumbered and this is off-topic so I'm putting an end to it here. Also it was never meant to be an argument in the first place. =/ And please, keep your "facehoof" images to yourself. I was merely pointing out an annoyance I had with HG/SS. Of course it wasn't game-breaking, but it always bothered me deep down, and I know it's not such a ridiculous thing to be bothered by, but I guess I'll just have to keep it to myself next time.
  7. And under this same exact logic you are proposing, since Leaf wasn't in R/G she shouldn't have been in FR/LG. So no, that's not all there is to it.
  8. Your whole argument just falls apart with your edit there. You state that Red must be the one you fight because he was the original. But then you say that it made sense to add a female protagonist in FR/LG because the newer games started adding that option. So why in the world couldn't Leaf have been properly represented in HG/SS? I'm not following this. If 'Red' is the only 'true' protagonist then Leaf's presence in FR/LG makes no more sense. And as I said before, Leaf was actually planned from the very beginning. Red is only the one and only original because they didn't have room to add her in R/G/etc.
  9. It's a simple and easy process to equally represent the female protagonist and anybody who decided to play as her, female or not. Nintendo added an female protagonist in FR/LG; it made no sense whatsoever to completely leave her out of HG/SS. It would have been just fine to allow players the option in some way as to which of the two protagonists from FR/LG they would have fought in the end. I don't care about Red being the 'epitome'. By the time HG/SS were released there was a whole new generation of Pokemon fans that instead grew up on R/S/E and FR/LG. HG/SS were, for all intents and purposes, sequels to FR/LG and not R/B/Y. So, it makes no sense. BTW, 'Leaf', the female protagonist of FR/LG was planned from the very beginning of the series. I believe she made it into the manga, but couldn't be in R/B for space reasons.
  10. But HG/SS were released after FR/LG, remakes of Generation I, which did have a female protagonist. They were released SEVEN YEARS afterward, in fact. There's no excuse, I mean FR/LG and HG/SS are connected. You can even transfer Pokemon from FR/LG to HG/SS.
  11. NCAA Football and Basketball: University of Kansas, and Oklahoma State University.
  12. Yeah, that was really neat. But this time around they need to make sure that they add the option of fighting the female protagonist instead. I can not express how much that issue annoyed me in HG/SS.
  13. I took a Java class in my junior year of high school and the whole way through I felt exactly like Pinkie Pie here. (The link's messing up, it's supposed to go to 13:51 >.<)
  14. I really do prefer the first myself, but I have no reason whatsoever to look down upon The Thousand Year Door. It was a really good sequel that really didn't take anything away from the first. I really hope the 3DS version is like the first two. I'm a bit worried about what I've seen so far with the stickers.
  15. I think it's really awesome that for the first time since Gold/Silver/Crystal we are getting a real sequel. However, it's really hard to say much about it aside from that as we really know nothing. For all we know it could be set in the exact same Unova and just have a continued story. I really hope it takes place in a new region or at least a Unova in a fairly distant future, like Kanto was in G/S/C. ..But I still haven't been able to play Black/White. =(
  16. Not sure how there's even an argument here. Of course guys have it easier. That's not to say that guys don't deal with societal pressures that are ridiculous (most noticeably to me is the pressure for guys to be manly and not to do anything remotely feminine. Which is stupid), but it just really can't compare altogether.
  17. Wouldn't I have to be attracted to them first? Anyway, I guess I'd have to go with Twilight Sparkle.
  18. Nah, I don't think any character could overtake Pinkie Pie for me, but the rest of the mane 6 my opinions do vary on.
  19. It's funny because when I first started watching the show and I first noticed Rarity in the Phoenix episode (the second episode I watched) I thought that Rarity actually was an antagonistic character.
  20. Lol. Not really... I have one friend that watched a little bit of it after she saw I liked it and she said she enjoyed it, but she hasn't talked about it since.
  21. I'm not a fast runner at all. Although I haven't run in sooo long. I doubt I've gotten any better. In fact I'd say I've gotten far worse. lol
  22. Another one of these topics? =P I mainly listen to various styles of Classical and Progressive Rock along with Oldies/Soft Rock. Favorite Bands: Chicago (60s/70s, not so much later), The Beatles, Streetlight Manifesto, The Divine Comedy, Blood Sweat & Tears, Eagles, Bread, etc. Favorite Composers: Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Thomas Tallis, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonio Vivaldi, etc. Oh, and of course, I love woodwinds/brass instruments so that has kind of shaped my tastes. A band like Streetlight Manifesto I might have never given a chance if they didn't have them. =P
  23. Animal Crossing 3DS and Paper Mario 3DS. I can't believe I'm still waiting for them. =/
