  2. Unfortunately some of the humans weren't cured and became dragon hybrids spawning a horrible Twilight spinoff...

      Good morning Cwanky!

  4. Any true discussion right now of technology unfortunately is highly limited and in my mind premature and pointless. You have to take into consideration that the show takes primarily in Ponyville, a rather small, rural, and significantly isolated region of Equestria. I am going to start a discussion of Equestrian hierarchy soon, but to make this point short and clear, from our limited knowledge of Equestria we only have mostly Ponyville to draw from which isn't much. We may never know exactly how advanced Equestrian technology is let alone about the world, but for now it seems the society is modern but mixed with magic and medieval themes, which gives it a Harry Potter esque feel.

mega thread Answer the question above you.

I can't disagree. Why wouldn't I agree with you? We don't even exist. We're just a clever visual metaphor used to personify the abstract concept of thought. Why is corn so addictive?
  6. Where's your palace? I would really like to drop by and stargaze some time. I am more of an owl anyways.
  7. Well in rough chronological order: 1. United Kingdom - London and Stonehenges mostly 2. France - Paris and Niece 3. Japan - Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka, Miyajima, and Hiroshima 4. Italy - Rome, Vatican, Venice, Florence 5. Mexico - Cabo San Lucas 6. Vietnam - Saigon and Dalat in the south, Hue in the Central and Hanoi up North mostly. I've been there twice, once on the standard tour, later on a more personal offroad tour seeing relatives and my dad's old classmates. 7. Singapore Within the US, I've been to Yellowstone, Wyoming, drove through Arizona, New Mexico and Utah along the way, went to Las Vegas and Reno in Nevada several times and I've been to Palm Springs, San Diego including the zoo and Coronado, drove through the San Joaquin valley and Tejon Pass numerous times on the Interstate 5 along with Highway 101. Currently I'm residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
  8. I'd go with water, though I affiliate much more with the cold and ice, which doesn't necessarily have to associate with water. I like water though since I love sealife and inland rivers and biomes. I really wish I have a chance one day to see the Great Barrier Reef while its still around. Its such a rich, complex, beautiful, colorful and magnificent ecosystem like the others that exist on our Earth. Humans really need to learn to value and appreciate what they have better. As for the cold and ice, personality wise it suits me. I can tend to be a cool and distant person and I prefer to be calm and collected. I actually don't like being around people that are too excitable or energetic. Plus the cold and ice are such vital elements to our life on Earth. They help reflect a lot of the Sun's rays and the nature of the cold helps preserve and regulate the world around us. You could say that along with darkness, ice and cold surround much of this universe. There's something both sad and serene to that fact that the universe we live in is held together by equilibrium of the elements.

mega thread Answer the question above you.

Applejack Why are Brits so fascinated by Americans despite the fact that we gave their king the middle finger?
  10. Where in the name of Flying Spaghetti Monster is Carl's Jr. If not for this guy: 6 Dollar Burger. If not for the burgers, the include Carl's Jr at least for the deep fried cucumbers I don't recall any other major fastfood joint serving fried cucumbers. Also Carl's Jr is the king of burgers. They're about as close to gourmet as fastfood can get.
  11. Several people in this thread have already said it, but I'll repeat it for good measure. If you're "friends" abandon you simply because a basic preference or group you choose to associate with, being a brony isn't even necessarily a lifestyle choice either unless you choose to make it, then they're were not truly friends to begin with. I mean our society is always telling us to accept others despite their appearances and learn to tolerate others even if they have differing viewpoints. I've known people that are more conservative as opposed to me where and that doesn't stop me from hanging out with them as friends. Same goes with people I know as Heat or Lakers fans, whereas I may despise or go against those teams. Sorry to say but good riddance to those people. You deserve much better than some bigoted, immature judgmental pricks that would leave you over something so inconsequential.
  12. My natural enemy is procrastination and it might be yours too. Don't deny it. Its always lurking there in the corner inviting me to slack off when I'm supposed to or should be getting work done and outta the way. Flies and mosquitoes are also big on this list. If I had to declare a genocide on anything it would be flies and mosquitoes, the biggest parasites on this Earth. Every time I catch a fly or mosquito, I don't hesitate to burn it with a lighter or feed it alive to the spiders in my backyard. That's how much I hate these bastards. Also driving. Me and the road and the other drivers don't always get along and I find it to be quite an endeavor at times to drive. In fact I haven't driven in the past 2 years so I'm not sure if I'm ready to face the road again. Bless my old 1999 Toyota Avalon though. She was always reliable and I would listen to the radio in her at my college parking lot for hours.
  13. Either I'm having one helluva an acid trip right now or I really did something stupid to tick off the guy upstairs this time.
  14. Megaman 4 Boss theme Quite underrated apparently
  15. my textbooks and their unending mountain of tedious data.
  16. I really had one too many sips of that cider last night.
  17. Damnit now I want to play Megaman 4 after hearing that boss theme.

  18. Perms are $20. Don't worry I'm a born natural.
  19. Won't you join me in my isolation?

  20. Considering that Pinkie found something as unique as the Mirror Pool, this is quite conceivable. But the fact that Gummy is still inclined to bite Pinkie, among other people and things suggest that he still is a natural born carnivore. Pinkie's biggest problem is that she lacks maturity and thus also responsibility. I really hope that she goes to Fluttershy for advice on how to take care of a baby gator.
