  1. I need an opinion on an anime. It's called BECK and a friend (I suppose) recommended it to me. It sounds like the sort of thing I'd be interested in, but I want to know if anyone else has watched it, and would like to give me a review on the series?

Jumping on the wand bagon here. On your personal profile, right after the 'about me' section, there will be a list of details about you, such as your rank and your post count. Hope I could help!
  3. Dude, that's fine Most of the people on the forums are actually good about this, and you seem like a decent person anyway. I guess we were all like that, trying to be noticed by the older bronies, but I suppose it's how you do it that matters really. You're right. I'm being overly-cynical, which is something that I suppose is bad for me. I'm not going to leave this forum, that's for sure, and it is true that all fandoms have the assholes who won't stop going on about it. #ponyswag @, (not gonna quote because post is too long) personally, I found My Little Dashie to be quite sad, and it bothered me for a while, but I suppose it has a different impact for different people. I go through life hating myself and everyone else around me. For example today, I have the genuine urge to go stab this absolute twat I know, while also having the urge to kill myself, even though I have preached in the past that it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem (in most cases anyway). If this was in anyway directed towards me, then I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way, and I genuinely feel for you. If you want to talk to me about anything, ever, then feel free. I'm always open.
  4. I think this has it's ups and downs. It is good because you can quickly jump from post to post with ease. The bad part is if you haven't seen the first post yet, you have to go all the way back to the start of the thread to read it.
  5. @@Zygen, I really think you've done well to articulate what really, I shouldn't be thinking. I probably am going to stick around, as I've been a member for so long, so I want to see how this community turns out. Thank you for such a great post. Oh god, these are the people I despise. Ugh, I'm sick of these people, and I'm sick of my generation, and how ignorant we are. Same with the human race in general. It disgusts me. Best post I've seen today, as well as words to live by, and you're right, the forums are pretty good, as a lot of those members leave after a week or so. #swag #yolo #kony2012
  6. Dude, that would be pretty awesome! Regarding licensed game, I think that with the new iOS game Hasbro released, we may possibly see a MLP related game on the market soon, although I doubt it, for the reasons I said above.
  7. Learn something like C#, that's what most indie games I know are coded in. If you did get their permission, it would be pretty cool to see a game on the Marketplace.
  8. I see where your coming from, and wholeheartedly agree with everything you said, although personally, I'm finding it difficult to get back into posting here. Hopefully, if I keep trying to make an effort, I can eventually remake a name for myself, and become fairly well known again.
  9. I don't really think this could work. Unless Hasbro and Microsoft got some partnership going, then I doubt it would work. Also, do you really think Microsoft, of all companies, would be bothered to code and implement it into Xbox Live, although I do think it would be quite a cool idea.
  10. Disclaimer: When I criticise the 'community' I don't mean the forums, I mean the brony community in general I've began to notice, that as a veteran member, I've stopped posting or visiting the forums on a regular basis. This is something I've been trying to solve for a while now, because I like the community here, and I want to continue to be a part of that. After a while, I think I found out the answer. I joined the fandom about a little way through Season 2 at the start of the year. By then, the community was still fairly new, and really, we weren't that big in numbers. We were big, but nowhere near as big as we are now. Anyway, as many of the older members may know, after Season 2 ended, there was pretty much a rather large period of boredom, and there weren't that many threads that provoked a lot of discussion in the way that it used to. It was during that period that I became absent from the forums, and stopped posting, for the sake of waiting for Season 3 to come, and the forum to flood with posts. Now, this is where I start to get cynical. I watched the first couple of episodes of Season 3, and returned to the forums to begin posting. Now, what I noticed was, that I stopped posting after that, so I wanted to know why. I wanted to continue posting here, as I was a fairly well known member at the time. After a little while, I started to notice changes in the community (see disclaimer, not the forums, but the brony community) and started to wonder if these changes were what were stopping me coming on the forums. A lot of the newer members of the brony fandom, are simply annoying. They just are (remember, disclaimer, a lot of new members here are pretty cool) and they are because of the way they talk about the show. For example, some will pretty much talk about it in places that aren't related to MLP, and want a MLP this, and MLP that, which, in my opinion annoys me. I do remember here, that we would talk about things like 'what if this was MLP related?' but not to the scale that a lot of newer bronies take it to. I don't actually know if this is what's keeping me from posting here, or it's just the danger of boredom lingering in the back of my mind. So, what do you guys think? Are you noticing changes like this in the community? Does it affect your picture of the community as a whole? (It doesn't change my opinion at all, really, just the newer ones). I hope someone reads this, and can hopefully, understand what I mean, and not take it too personally, or offence if you feel I may be targeting you, because really, I'm not. Thank you all, and have a nice day.
  11. This is going to be my first post in a long time, lel. As many of us already know, all the members from the forums all come from different cultural backgrounds, so I was wondering how all of you celebrate Christmas in your household? For me, I celebrate it the typical western way; give presents to each other, eat roasted food and all that good stuff. So then, how are you celebrating this year?
  12. I like most things of the paranormal/gory/creepy genre. However, if a grimdark story isn't written very well, and is full of cliche's, then the chances are, I won't enjoy it very much.
  13. @@Twiliscael, I totally agree with you. I managed to get into them, but I tend to ignore their lyrics and listen to the content of their instrumentals, however, I'm probably going to stop listening to them pretty soon. Dahvie is the most obnoxious person ever. For me, I guess it would be Indie Rock. I respect all the people who like it, but it's just too soft, and doesn't have much appeal towards me in any form whatsoever.
  14. The way I see it, the whole love and tolerate thing is sort of becoming an excuse to hide away from trolls, and is really just feeding the trolls. I generally don't care if you're a hater or not, because you're just a normal person, who just dislikes something. The way you act about it is what gives the impression if if you're either a respectful person, who doesn't like it, but still respects the people who do, or just a general asshole, who everyone hates, and should just ignore.
  15. I've just finished playing Grand Theft Auto IV. One of my favourite games of all time. I love the way you can change the storyline just by choosing who to kill. Such a great game. I just need to finish all the sidequests before I can begin my next playthrough.
  16. @, thanks for letting me know about this! Unfortunately, this didn't come up as a notification at first, so I didn't find this, but I managed to stumble across this while looking through my emails. Thanks Scoots, you're a life saver
  17. To be honest, I really didn't think the first two episodes of Season 3 were all that great, however, I enjoyed Too Many Pinkie Pie's so much more. I actually made a thread a while back about my thoughts on the way the show and the fandom are heading, and how they're heading in positive directions, so you could look at that if you want to see my true thoughts, but for now I'll just tl;dr it. Been many great moments, been some bad moments, but as a collective experience, still an amazing show.
  18. A lot of the time, it's because of miscommunication between the show department, and the toy department, hence why Celestia was pink, not white. I personally wouldn't bother that much about this sort of thing, as it really doesn't bother me, and I don't purchase the toys anyway.
  19. Personally, out of all of those games, I've only played Modern Warfare 3, however, I have heard great things about Battlefield 3, so I probably will get that at some point, but from an experience standpoint, I'll have to say MW3.
  20. Actually make good quality posts, because that will get you far in this community, and in life.
  21. I'll be able to upload now. Sorry for not doing it earlier, I really haven't had time at all lately, but I should be able to upload today.
  22. Anyone know where I can send my Bronies React footage?

I don't think we (as in, the MLPF staff) ever called it anything other than "MLP Forums Reacts".

Anyway, this is the upload page: http://mlpforums.com/page/s3-reaction-project

If you have any trouble, please open a support ticket in the special department for it.

Thanks for the link! Sorry for not replying earlier, I've been really busy lately.

  23. Watched about half of it so far. It has a nice plot build up, however, I'm thinking that it's not all that exciting at the moment. Hopefully it will have more action as it progresses further and make my reaction video a lot juicier.
  24. Got redirected to this topic again from the ad. As well as vocals, I can also do music production for any electronic/synthersizers if any is needed.
