Never really had a problem with the whole title of "queen" vs. "princess". If I heard Equestria referred to as a "Kingdom" I would take exception, crying out the foul against the precious continuity, but so far we haven't heard of the label of the Equestrian state. For now I have to assume it is actually the "Principality of Equestria", denoting the rulers to be princesses. As far as the stigma of the title... Princess Twilight Sparkle will most certainly dispel any of that nonsense.

I'm a 29 year old freelance artist. Favorite Pony? That's gotta be Twilight Sparkle, after all, you have to love the pony who loves books as much as she does. Interesting fact? To be a better storyteller I surround myself with books. I lost count with my fantasy library somewhere around three hundred books and it's still growing! Feel free to find me over at http://naivewolfjosh.deviantart.com. Just like with being a storyteller I like surrounding myself with exceptional artist hoping to learn from the best! Currently working on my first MLP:FiM fan comic called Rewrite Destiny and having a blast.

Awesome, today is 32° F, and the sun is sort of out, so I'm calling that a win.

Yeah, though I'm in the camp that he had reasons for what he did. It seems odd that he was there just the mess with Twilight and Cadence's outing, considering it wouldn't take much to try for another day, but if he was there to keep them away from the Starswirl the Bearded traveling museum... After all, Twilight Sparkle did finish Starswirl's unfinished spell, what else might she put together...? Yay head canon!

Large bodies of water, except for the Great Lakes, as they contain the monsters of my nightmares. I honestly can't see how people swim at their beaches while constantly surrounded by sharks, the creatures that say "hello" by biting, such a thing is madness to me. Then there are giant squids, something that I know can't come up to shallow waters easily, but that doesn't stop me from knowing they are down there. What's worse is having an imagination that makes everything so much more terrifying. I can't help but wonder if the Megladon still lives or what other kinds of marine horrors lurk that we have yet to discover. There are too much teeth in an environment that I'm not too well suited for to begin with. Highly irrational considering that one of my highest wishes is to one day see a Tyrannosaurus Rex in person, even if that may cost me my life, I say it was worth it.

I have little against Silver Spoon, she's merely a follower that will hopefully one day learn better, also known as a redeemable character. Diamond Tiara on the other hand has proven, especially in Flight to the Finish, that she is irredeemable. Making fun of a disability?! Seriously?! What's worse this is the second time, in Ponyville Confidential this fact was used as blackmail! Dear Celestia she's a monster!

So my aura is white. Neat. Your Aura Is White! Personality: Cool and calm, but not laid-back, whites are the ultimate in class. Whites are one of the best at what they do, and they don’t make a show of it, but they get the recognition anyway. White’s always getting the job done, always making the perfect play, never demanding the credit and always getting it anyway. With a wink and tiny salute of acknowledgment to the crowd, everyone will always remember you.You are neat and immaculate in your appearance, in the presentation of your home almost to the point of being fanatical. You are far-sighted, with a positive and optimistic nature. You are well-balanced, sensible, discreet and wise. You are cautious, practical. You tend to have a great deal of self control. You are confident, poised and self-assured when at your most positive, but can also be very choosy and fastidious when the mood strikes. You can be very critical of yourself and others. You are self-sufficient and a loner. You may appear to be shy, but you do have strong beliefs about most things and love the opportunity to air those beliefs. Love Life: You see love as an adventure, and you find most women dull. You need someone who challenges you! (One hundred percent true) Yellow: Way too outgoing, they are way too annoying to take you on Red: Always complaining about their love life makes you just want to smack them across the head and say “SNAP OUT OF IT!!!” (explains why I never got the whole emo thing) Pink: To prissy and stuff can get annoying really fast (hah, this is why I disliked Rarity for so long!) Blue: No like green? That’s fine Blue is just the same just a little bit of a realist. Purple: Their standards are way too high for white to reach! Orange: They may be like yellow but something about them completes your day! (what I assumed my aura was... huh.) Perfect Color Love Match: Green is THE PERFECT MATCH! Just like white they are really down to earth, and are the perfect soul mate for white Friendship Color: Blue Auras are perfect to fit your qualifications of what you call a "Friend". Color Opposite: Your color wheel opposite is Pink. Pink is too outgoing to fit your personality and may annoy you just a smidge. Words that Describe White: Naïve (Yes, like my username!!!), Innocent, Neutral, Shy, Serious, Stubborn, Ethical, Honest, Self-Important (I prefer arrogant, but that works to) Purpose of Life: To Make a Statement, and Succeed in Life I can call it a win as only one part of my aura wasn't really true. That aspect can be applied more or less to my art, not to own appearance or that of my usually messy room, after all it's where I do all my art!

Hmm... did I stop disliking Rarity? Yeah, I guess I have at some point. She was a real hard sell for me as her personality archetype is so close to those that I know in real life who were real despicable people. So many of her traits mirrored those people and that left me feeling sour towards the character, but she isn't a horrible pony. Yeah she tends to amp up her own personal drama, an aspect that will annoy me no matter what, but she is incredibly understanding and considerate, traits these people in my life completely lacked. I n the episode Look Before You Sleep, she had a lot of growth to still do in this department, unable to overcome Applejack's ways, and while Applejack had the same problem, she had a far better reason. She was annoyed with Rarity's "elegance" getting in the way of helping the town and in general others. Since then we have have a number of episodes, Rarity takes Manehatten for example, that show she is willing to be dragged through the mud, literally in Sisterhooves Social, to be there for others. Still not my favorite of the mane six, or high on the list, but she is no longer a disliked character. Well played.

Considering I can see the motions of the character in this still image I think you did awesome. Other critiques are hard as I don't know if you were going for show accurate, comic book accurate, or your own style. Regardless I like it.

Discord is plotting :D
Naive Wolf Josh replied to DiscordAnarchy's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
That is... brilliant! If this somehow comes back to bite Twilight Sparkle and crew in the flanks would completely make my day! An over arching Discord plot that is made up of a series of seemingly inconsequential actions that all lead up to one cataclysmic event, what more can I ask for? You just got me psyched for something that's not going to happen, didn't you? -
What's happened to Spike this season?
Naive Wolf Josh replied to Silanda's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I also believe he's one of the characters that's hardest to write as a slow crawl. One of the few issues he has is his lack of maturity, as he his a baby dragon, and that isn't easy to overcome in the quick span of a single episode. One of the few times we see him actively overcoming the maturity issues realistically was in It's About Time and that was about something with almost immediate consequence. As a result of episodes such as Spike at your Service, he's been written to come off as the punchline, which had finally been addressed in Power Ponies. He wasn't given a goal like the Cutie Mark Crusaders and so has no driving force. There is his crush on Rarity, but that should remain in the realm of a running gag. With all this in mind Spike can start to develop a goal. This was almost attempted in Dragon Quest, but was pretty poorly done, as the dragons featured were less mature than even Spike. Still I would like to see him come to a realization that he needs to become more, much like how Twilight Sparkle ascended, he too needs to essentially evolve. I've never pictured Spike as a pet, not even in Equestria Girls, that said I do picture him as the familiar of a powerful spellcaster. As such the changes in Twilight should evoke a need to change in him. At least this is what I'm hoping for. -
Thanks, the original version of the pic was hastily drawn on a napkin at Denny's I believe, while a Luna Cosplayer was giving my friend a death stare. It was hard to draw and keep from laughing until I was finished.

The next villain.....Twilight Sparkle
Naive Wolf Josh replied to TheMarkz0ne's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
If there is any way I would want King Sombra to return it would be as a corrupting influence, much in the same way as the alicorn amulet was to Trixie, a shadow that continuously hovers around Twilight and whispers in her ear, every word filled with a dark enchantment that is designed to slowly enthrall the one who hears it.
