    I came to this thread expecting to get butthurt, but I actually get what you're saying. Bronies who defend themselves with the fight scenes are trying to hide the fact that they enjoy the show for what it really is. It's a show that was written well enough to be enjoyed by anyone. Bronies should stand by that idea rather than the other one. We'll get hate from people who only see ponies and think "HA GAY" but we'll be a lot more honest that way.

    This is the only part of the super bowl that I really cared about. I didn't watch it at all, actually. Someone shared this in a brony group on FB. It was pretty surprising. The ponies are spreading.

    There's two sides to this. I'm glad that I'm a brony because I got to see a pretty rad show and join one of the best fandoms out there, but I also don't like it because I get hate for it. I tell all of them that you can't hate a show that you've never seen, but they don't listen. We're one of the only fandoms that I know of that's at a constant battle with society. I guess that's just a risk that you have to take if you wanna be a brony.

    If it was just a spin-off separate from MLP, I don't see why I would care. It's as easy as not watching it.

    I don't constantly hate girls who do stuff like this 24/7 if that's what you're thinking. When I hear a girl say "ugh I hate guys" I kinda cringe in my head, but that's about it. Hate is a bit much honestly.

    There's certain things that are common for some girls to do. I don't mean all of them. A lot of girls are pretty freaking rad. I guess you could say that guys can also pull the insecure card and fish for compliments. I'm guilty of doing that, but I do it sincerely because I really feel insecure at times. You can make a thread about what you hate about people if you really want one. No one is gonna stop you. That's completely true, but I know someone out there is gonna think you're being sexist. Girls can say all that they want about how guys are in relationships just for their bodies, but girls also have images of their "dream guy" who has a six pack, muscles, etc.

    Yes! There's no reason to hate and entire gender because of how a handful of them act. It's fairly similar to being racist when you think about it.

    It isn't just bronies who hate change. I mean, look at the Sonic fandom. Sonic Boom (a spin-off mind you) changed Sonic's arms to blue and made Knuckles a ripped moron. The fandom went berserk from that. When you think of a certain show or whatever, what you imagine in your head is different compared to how far you are in that show. When a large change occurs, your mind might say "No! This isn't the show that I know!" You'll then go into denial about the change. Most people aren't like this, however, and accept change with a smile. I would be one of those people. Shows don't go anywhere if they stay the same forever.
