  1. Only one season on Netflix. Or so I've heard. In Canada we get a far reduced selection of Netflix movies, and MLP is not part of that selection.
  2. Big Macintosh's strength was augmented by the love potion when he dragged that house. Also, the cake was made of depleted uranium.
  3. Mike Patton as some kind of creepy villain character.
  4. The show's perfectly fine without humans in it. Maybe an episode where Twilight accidentally teleports the mane 6 into our dimension and everyone's like WTF talking ponies, but they make it back to Equestria at the end.
  5. My parents already know a million weird things about me. My bronyism is nothing in comparison
  6. The Rainbow Dash section of At The Gala is the best thing ever. We need more Rainbow Dash metal in this series.
  7. Favourite episode: The Last Roundup. Great adventure kind of situation, the whole mane cast together, lots of really funny moments. Pretty much everything that makes MLP great was present in that episode. Worst episode: MMMystery on the Friendship Express. The whole thing just kinda fell flat for me and, like, are those deserts laced with crack or does everyone in Equestria have major impulse control problems?
  8. Given how much she eats, she has to stay hyper all the time or else she'll get fat.
  9. Overrated is a bit too powerful of a word to use but not entirely innacurate. I mean, it's good. It's VERY good. It's not the best thing to ever happen to TV (that would be Breaking Bad) but it's incredibly high-quality nonetheless. The reason for my obsession, I'm realizing is because it's good in a way which I didn't think that a show COULD be good. The automatic line of thinking is happy + girly + bright = lame. Somehow, a show managed to be good despite being filled with what should have been lame. It's like if you never ate Japanese food, and you tried Sushi one day and really liked it. You would think it's the best food on the planet for a while because it's a new flavour. But a few months later you adapt to it and it becomes just another type of food that you have on occasion. I think I'm at that point after two seasons of MLP. Definitely still gonna watch it, but the shock of liking a girly kids' show has for the most part worn off and I can judge it more fairly now. Objectively I'd place the quality of the show at about the same level as the Disney cartoons I watched as a kid in the 90s - Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, Goof Troop, Ninja Turtles, etc. Or at least my rose-tinted nostalgic remembrance of the quality of those shows.
  10. Flashback to some historical event involving Starswirl the Bearded, voiced by either Patrick Stewart or Ian McKellen.
  11. At the end of Dragon Quest, Spike says that he thinks of the ponies (including Rarity) as his family. So it seems to me that Spike himself has familyzoned their relationship. Besides, he's still a baby dragon and he shouldn't really be thinking about love yet.
  12. Apparently ponies have poor impulse control around sweets. Even Princess Celestia seems to have a weakness for cake (in the last episode as well)
  13. Any episode that focuses on the relationship between Princess Celestia and Princess Luna would be awesome.
  14. Come to think of it, a regular human typewriter would still be a better idea for ponies. Unicorns could magically hit the keys, and Earth ponies and Pegasuseses would just use a little typing rod in their mouth. Of course, the limitation of three big buttons may not be as much an issue of hoof usability as the way typewriter technology developed in Equestria.
  15. Ooooh I really like that idea of the two buttons moving X and Y coordinates on a grid of letters and punctuation and stuff. I suppose the more common letters would be located closer to the origin to maximize typing speed. EDIT: and you already covered that lol
  16. I lol'ed when we got some continuity on Big Mac and Smarty Pants.
  17. Someone's going to use the dragon footage to make another MLP/Skyrim video on Youtube.
  18. Could this be the first episode in which Twilight actually remembered that she can teleport when she needed to? Loved the episode, but it seemed a little abrupt how they all run away at the end. I was expecting one of the adult dragons to step in and yell at the teenagers for their misbehaviour.
  19. I've got a Spike-focused fanfic that I started writing a while ago - it's been on hold ever since I first heard of this episode. Waiting until afterwards to continue so I don't trip over any canon.
  20. While I'm aware of Lauren Faust's official comments regarding the Rainbow Dash lesbian rumours, and I know that someone being tomboyish doesn't necessarily make them lesbian... you gotta admit, Rainbow Dash and Applejack make a hell of a cute couple. On the straight side, I like the Fluttershy / Big Mac pairing, but I would imagine it would be quite difficult to get that relationship started if both are too shy to make the first move.
  21. I'm pretty sure the Solid Sparkle thing was on purpose. I had my doubts at first but then later on in the episode on their stealth mission I knew it had to be deliberate Also, the Hearts and Hooves episode briefly showed some ponies playing arcade games
  22. A Bird in the Hoof - a few brief moments when the bird burst into flames and the ashes land on Fluttershy's hooves. Of course, the moment I saw the bird go up in flames I was instantly like "oh, phoenix" but still, poor Fluttershy thinking she was responsible for the bird's death.
