    I recently picked up a new laptop for $350. Pretty happy with it. Thinner and lighter than I expected for the money. ASUS X550CA Windows 8.1 Intel Core i3-3217U ULV CPU @ 1.8 GHz 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD 15.6" 1366x768 Uh... it's white, so that's kinda neat too. Maybe I could get a Vinyl Scratch decal for it or something...

    I dunno, I'll look into it. I'm sure there are plenty who are completely sick of the annual CoD titles now (or five years ago), but I like to go in with an open mind and rate a game on its own merits, even if it does have "CoD 2014" plastered all over it. For the record, I did like MW1 and the Black Ops series. WaW co-op was good fun too with four players. Wish they'd bring that back. I don't think I'd pick it up at launch though, not that it'll save me any money or anything to wait knowing Activision. I also have a PS4 now, so a system that's actually worth picking something like this up on. PC ports, so bad. So very bad.

    It ends up being helpdesk most of the time since it's a small company with a woeful IT budget. Critical business systems running Windows 98? Check. I need a new job. -_-

    Fair enough. That being said, it's the third iteration of the series and I'm not aware of any major issues from the first two. Besides, that's what return policies are for. The 3 is just so impressively thin and light, seems much more of an improvement than the 2 over the 1. Just my 2c.

    If you can wait a month, the surface pro 3 is well worth waiting for imo with its superior screen and impressively light weight.

    Seems a bit extreme to leave a fandom because of this, but to each their own I suppose. I understand where you're coming from and I tend to avoid some subforums as well, but I think by and large they keep on topic most of the time. Sorry to see you go, hope you find a buyer.

    I'm a light sleeper, so sleeping by myself in total darkness is probably the most restful sleep I can get.
