    As much as I love Scoots' aunts, they feel like they're from a timeline where they were far more prominent in Scootaloo's life than only appearing in one episode just to show that Scootaloo totally wasn't an orphan and has adults who love her (but not enough to support her because what is consistency) Scootaloo as an orphan makes her such a better character, especially once Rainbow adopts her, and I despise they dropped that aspect instead of letting them love and support one another in subsequent episodes

    Zipp's wing flap cycle also looked much better-animated than previous instances, which were little more than "move layer up and down" - there's actually movement in the feathers now

    Something tells me the CMC had some say in the making of the unity crystals, given a spirit of competition is enough to turn off magic, but as long as A Unicorn, A Pegasus, and A Earth Pony are working together, magic will stay on

    Them being chonky beans is far cuter than being lanky noodles Although the latter's easier to animate for a quick YouTube series, so I get why they went with it
