  1. I have, and I find it to be one of the better episodes this season as far as the overall moral is concerned.
  2. Magical Mystery Cure for me. I find it has a stronger set of songs going for the episode and a far more compelling narrative in terms of what was at stake there. Pacing might have been rushed a little bit though, but it did have several seasons of build up going for it as well. To each his or her own though as CLM had some good things going for it too.
  3. Season 6 has been confirmed for 26 episode. It has been a good ride so far but there is still plenty of pony to go. Just because one reaches a milestone within the show does not necessarily mean it is the endgame, but rather it is more of the continuation of the journey of said character. Now Season 6 might be the last season, but the matter is still left to Hasbro to decide for the time being as they could very well continue it as long it remains highly profitable. And yes the brand has been confirmed to be planned on running through 2019, and that is a separate concept from the show. Might as well enjoy the moment and take it one step at a time instead.
  4. Twilight: Have her continue to work on the whole princess angle, but I would not mind if she started to try to develop new spells by writing them putting her knowledge to the test. Might as have her to continue studying magic. Applejack: Maybe become of Mayor of Ponyville, but she seems content to just work on the farm with her family so maybe have her expand the farm to increase business instead. Pinkie Pie seemingly seems to random for me to make heads or tails in having any particular goals, so she will do whatever she wants. Maybe she breaks away from the Cakes and opens her own business, Rarity: Maybe open up another boutique in Manehattan. Rainbow Dash: Still needs to becomes a full fledged Wonderbolt so there is no need to change that goal for her right now. Fluttershy: Maybe she helps creates a national park or a wild life preserve.
  5. Tying loose ends may mean opening up new opportunities in the long run. The show might be wrapping up but there is still another season to go so I think talks of wrapping things up may be premature, but it is a possibility. Some doors may be shut but others will open, and I would Princess Twilight and The Cutie Mark Crusaders will be prime examples of this concept. People have been saying the end of the show is nigh for years now so I am going to remain skeptical on the matter, but has plans for Season 3 not changed than the show would have ended without addressing a lot of things, so I am not inclined to think wrapping things up means ending the show. I do think the show is likely to end once it is no longer financially viable.
  6. Spike abused his power by making decisions in Twilight's name that he had no right to be making in the first place as he had limited information. Knowing how someone would act is not the same thing as actually knowing the reasons why someone make such decisions, and that is what killed him in Princess Spike. Cadence did not remind him of anything, but only to question his reasons for doing as such, and she made pretty good point while doing as such as Spike abused his position long before that by acting out of the scope of his original duties. Now maybe Spike could a use a little more screen time, but people need to remember that he is still a baby dragon so his mentality is going to reflect that of a child at times, and this can be both a strength and hindrance to the character. The lack of Spike content may be reflected to to the marketing priorities for the show as imagine that Spike just does not sell as well as some of the characters, but I am not saying the demand isn't there though.
  7. They are dead, and the reason why the issue has been avoided is so that does not take away with from the Apple family dynamic. So it really does not change anything.
  8. Pinkie Pie will try to keep the secret away from Twilight, but she will have a hard time doing because she is excited about the news. I expect a reversal of Green Isn't Your Color.
  9. The show and staff have treated him just fine, but one suggestion is to have him develop an identity outside of Rarity and Twilight by have him develop a greater sense of independence. Probably best just keep him restricted to supporting roles for now as his lack of maturity as a baby dragon puts him situations that tend to work against. Stay the course is what I am saying, and he has been depicted just fine in Equestria Girls as well too. The important thing is not give up on him by not trying.
  10. Watch the whole season, but Castle Sweet Castle, Amending Fences, Make New Friends But Keep Discord, and Party Pooped, Tanks For The Memories, and Princess Spike, The Cutie Map, and Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep would be the ones I recommend the most.
  11. Maybe. Maybe not. The leaked episode synopses seems to suggest it is going to focus more on Princess Twilight and her friends though, but the CMC may play a role in it.
  12. Unless they intend to do something meaningful with it than by crossing the franchises together properly, as there would not be a point to do so if Sunset was not going to become of more a presence on the show.
  13. No. The Season finale should focus on the main characters, and not secondary albeit important ones, and the whole thing with Starlight needs to be resolved. Especially not after seeing the ending to the Friendship Games in regards to the whole time loop story, and I would take that any day over the CMC's finally earning their marks as that just does not seem as epic or as interesting comparison. However ignoring those two loose dangling threads this is my stance on the matter. This might have made for a mid-season finale before the hiatus, but I still think MMC handled the musical concept better though while putting an end to the first part of a major character arc before starting the next one No offense to those to who enjoyed this past episode but it simply did not feel like a season finale material at least for me. Sure it was nice that Diamond Tiara was reformed, and the CMC's earned their marks but it worked just as well in a slice of life episode as it would in a milestone one.
  14. Hopefully they will pick up on the dropped plot for Sunset, and possibly do something with the two Twilights as well.
  15. Muffins had the best costume, but I can't say no to Twilight wearing the battle armor.
  16. No as it would seem just redundant at this point same characters and roughly the same concept. It might work, but it is highly unlikely to get approved at this point. An Equestria Girls spin off series would be far more viable as there is enough differences to make the concept work as a standalone show.
  17. Maybe. Maybe not. It depends on the focus of the alternate timeline.
  18. I wonder if we are going about this the wrong way as it seems to narrow the possibilities the show could take at this point. Sure there are some loose ends that could stand to be addressed, but for every question answered another seems to raise another one in the process. The possibilities are seeming without end at this point, but I think they are gearing up for the movie in 2017.
  19. Those deleted scenes were great, and it was an interesting sub-plot that should be used for another project as things were rather crowed in Friendship Games, and the way things went down enabled them to keep their options open for the future as well. Interesting stuff as this provides a keen insight on the creative decisions made for this film, and in my opinion they made the right choice to focus on Twilight for now, while possibly saving this for a future movie.
  20. I would say it is a mixture of both good and bad, but I am enjoying for what it is. That is all that matters at the end of the day.
  21. No thanks. I think that ship has sailed at this point, and I would rather have the show make its own unique characters to fill such a role than to do one inspired Faust, No offense to Faust and what she did to get this show running but something like this now would feel rather jarring at this point
  22. It is not to late to introduce her as a the seventh main character as her arc is till tied to Equestria to an extent, but it would take a considerable amount of time and resources to make it work. I suspect a friendly visit would be nice and good and it can be used to further to tie the two franchises together as being one canon. People who say the movies are not canon fail to understand what canon means in the context of the show and the MLPFIM universe. The staff has already mentioned that they are canon, and that should be enough. That is the events took place within the context of the MLPFIM universe. Treating them as separate does not make them any less canon because they do this for viewer accessibility reasons so people can watch the show and understand it without having to watch the films. All of these movies have been framed during certain points of time in the show, so it still all ties within the lore and framework of the show. More importantly the show does not contradict the canoncity of these films. Not mentioning or directly referring to them does not make them any less canon, nor does canon have to mean it is a two way street as well. It is worth noting that people who dislike these films tend to be the ones try claim they are not canon in vain while gasping at straws. They don't have a say on the matter as canon can only be defined by those who control the rights to the intellectual property, so far the show has remained consistent with the official policy. People can try to claim Equestria Games as a way out, but they still would have to acknowledge the presence of Flash Sentry whose character was actually introduced in the first movie. If canon means perfect consistency than by that logic the show would not be canon unto itself as several episode have contradicted themselves. However when all is said and done at the end of the day the staff has more or less left it opened to personal choice on the matter regardless of their stance on it. I might not agree with it for all of my aforementioned reasons but fans do have a right to decide for themselves even if it does not align to official policy.
  23. Eh. I figured all that magic ran to her head as she lost control, but her primary motive to learn about magic remained the same albeit exaggerated as Midnight, and her disregard for others reflected the idea of Twilight giving up on having friends while going at it all alone. Friendship magic can also be corrupted into something else as seen in the first and second movies, as the intentions between Twilight and Sunset were clearly different in the climax, and that right there may be the difference between corruption and not being corrupted. That's my take on it, however the film did not state this directly so some confusion would be understandable.
