So we did star wars dnd tonight and my pilot got mvp. We helped a ship being attacked by pirates while we were on way to deliver refugees to hide. The pirates send out little droids to dismantle our ship

I rolled so high, i avoid all of them and get behind the pirates. We won of course...later on the planet i rolled to find a person to forge documents for the refugees and i rolled high again so dm was like yeah He just knows a guy

I graduated in December of 2017, and spent most of 2018 looking for work. I was able to find a part time job tutoring, but it didn't go well, and for the most part, things weren't looking good. I knew I needed to rethink my life, so I decided I would go back to school for a master's degree.

I didn't have funding for my first semester, and I questioned if it was a wise decision. Now, I can say that it was. I've been offered a full time job as a research assistant just this week. This upcoming Monday will be my first day of real, actual work--and for the first time ever, I will have complete financial independence. My tuition and fees will be paid for, I will be doing real engineering work, and I will have my own health insurance coverage, among other things.

It's difficult for me to express just how grateful I am that this is happening, and it's very odd to think that everything managed to fall into place after all. I'm not just relieved; I'm completely blown away by how awesome it is.

I feel bad for people that try to talk to me IRL. They always try to approach me and say things like, "Did you watch the game last night?" or "So, who's your favorite team?". I then tell them I don't watch football, they give me an odd look or say "Oh," and just walk away. I'm not into any sports nor do I listen to most popular music producers you can find on the radio. I feel so unapproachable, but I mostly just feel bad for them. 

What if Hasbro decides to make Spike a girl dragon in G5?

MLP holds a very special place in my heart. It helped turn my life around. Over the last couple of years, I've met SO many wonderful people on the MLP Forums and the show itself has made me feel like a kid again :') To me, this is not just another site, this is my home...

...and my friends...are family. I love each and every every one of you. Without any of you, I dont know what to do with my life. You all mean SO much to me  <3 No really, you guys have given me the strength to move forward in my life. You knew how to cheer me up when I was sad and we had A LOT of fun together  I know G4 is coming to an end, but I'll forever remain as a brony  I hope we can be friends forever!!! <3

People tell you to take a moment every now and then to appreciate what you have, the beauty of nature, and all the vast and exquisite machinations of existence that led to this present moment, but very few stop to consider the vast and exquisite machinations of existence that led to people being able to understand the world even in the smallest part, that led to people being able to say 'the sun will rise tomorrow' with any degree of assurance, that led to people being able to create mathematics in their minds of all things and, as if that wasn't enough, successfully use it to describe and predict the bizarre behaviour of the tiny blurry blobs of chance-infused energy that make up everything we see around us. This world has unspeakable complexities layered one upon the other upon the other with multifaceted patterns of stupendous intricacy that can only be seen when you zoom out just a little further, just a little further, just a little further - the patterns of particle behaviour to the patterns of atomic behaviour to the patterns of molecular behaviour to the patterns of cellular behaviour to the patterns of human behaviour to the patterns beyond us in the sea and sky and stars and bright, burning beacons of raw matter searing through the galaxy with a power that makes our planet look like a fleeting dewdrop on grass and yet the expanse of space isolating us from them is so breathtakingly huge that all we see is a twee little twinkle against a backdrop of utter void and yet somehow we manage to understand some of the vast and exquisite machinations of existence that cause all of these wonders and if that's not worth taking a moment to appreciate, there isn't much that is.
