Heh, maybe. I find it hard to believe that writers can forget a character. I mean his picture did show up on Twilight's mirror. He hasn't been completely forgotten, I hope. Do owls migrate?

Where has Owlowscious been for the past two seasons? We did see a cameo of him in Season 7 Premiere as a picture on Twilight's mirror, however, it didn't give us much insight into what he is up to. Why do you think we haven't seen Owlowscious for over two seasons? Will we see him soon? My thinking is he mainly helps Twilight in her nighttime excursions, mainly due to owls being nocturnal. Maybe the writers are trying to be more realistic when Owlowscious is out and about. The show hasn't had very many night episodes for a while, so that might be the real cause for Owlowscious' absence.

When it comes to death in the MLP Universe a lot of it is implied, to spare the tears of the younger audience. I'm mainly referring to AJ's parents when I say this, but there must be other occurrences as well.

As far as my memory serves, there are two episodes that state only pegasi ponies can stand on clouds: "Sonic Rainboom" (S1E16) and "Parental Glideance" (S7E7). However, there are two exceptions to this rule that involve the use of magic. The first exception to the rule is the use of a "wing creating spell". This was used by Twilight to create large butterfly wings for Rarity in "Sonic Rainbow". The second exception is the use of a "walking on clouds spell". Twilight also used this spell in "Sonic Rainbow" to allow her friends to attend the Best Young Flyers Competition in Cloudsdale. If these spells are accessible to the general public, then why aren't more earth ponies and unicorns taking advantage of these spells to experience Cloudsdale and other pegasi cities? Is there a time limit for how long the spells remain in effect? Can only well-practiced unicorns cast these spells? Another observation that I'd like to point out revolves around Las Pegasus. The city is a pegasi city, yet all three pony races can be found interacting in the cloud city due to paved pathways in and outside Las Pegasus buildings. Yet, if one were to step off of the path would the earth ponies and unicorns still fall through? Or, is there some sort of safety net used to keep non-pegasi ponies safe from falling? If Las Pegasus has paved paths, then why doesn't Cloudsdale have them as well? Answer me this. If an earth pony or unicorn pony is born from a pegasus parent, would this allow them to walk on clouds since they would be considered part pegasus? Or would something else occur? Are there other possible exceptions to the "only pegasi ponies can stand on clouds" rule? Let me know your thoughts!!!

I don't know. I want Chrysalis to reform for the sake of her deserving so much more, but then I just love her badass evilness way too much to want to see her reformed!

I personally don't want any more alicorns unless Hasbro announces that there is actually an alicorn race living somewhere outside of Equestria. I might be okay if a stallion is made an alicorn to change things up. But as a whole, I think six alicorns is plenty. I am hoping and praying that Starlight never becomes an alicorn.

Man, I sure hope not. I think that an important friendship lesson is that you can't always make others your friends, even if you attempt to befriend them. I really am perfectly fine with letting Chrysalis remain evil. I think Chrysalis will hit hard and fast when she attempts to get back at Starlight. How, is still up for debate. But whatever Chrysalis has cooked up with be her best plan yet. (Or so I hope.)

Hmmm. Good point. I can definitely see Spike interacting with Grubber. Not only because Grubber takes on the sidekick role but because he is a different species.

Yes, I do agree that the style of animation used for the movie does make the ponies appear shorter than they are in the tv series. I also think the animation style makes all the ponies look a little chubbier too. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it just brings out the cutie pony factor.

Ehhh. I thought that the specials were okay. They definitely were more directed towards the "slice of life" category. I wasn't expecting much to begin with. I mainly enjoyed seeing Sunset Shimmer go back to Equestria for a bit and interacting with Starlight Glimmer.

It could very well be. Both this and last season has friendship lessons happen due to the map, falling upon a problem, or getting invited to help. So it is really hard to say. I'm leaning towards this episode not being a map episode because I don't know if the map would recognize Trixie. Who knows? I can't wait to see what happens.
