    Well, since changing my steam avatar to a pony and my username to an mlp related name last week, I've been vote kicked from four tf2 servers, almost been kicked from 7 others, insulted COUNTLESS times, and threatened about three times.

     

    Oh, and some dude was talking the whole game about how 'my parents must have tried to abort me' and how he was gonna 'bring a flamethrower to bronycon and burn people'. 

    There was a lot more that they said, but I'll just leave that out.

     

    Guess there's still a lot of anti-bronies around.>_>

      @Johnny1226 Yeah. It really sucks. Thankfully I feel like society has grown used to us now, so much of the hate has died down. There's still plenty, but I just don't let it bother me anymore.

    Amen. I agree that this is not a show that should have a lot of romance. It just doesn't fit with the show and it's themes. Nor do I want this show to be romantic. I think it's best to leave all that to the fanfic writers, as @WiiGuy2014 said.

    I might be giving our fandom a little too much credit here, but I'd say it's split 50-50 between little girls (the intended audience) and bronies (or just people outside the target audience). This fandom is MASSIVE. I haven't done any research though, so don't take what I say as 100% fact by any means.

    WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!! I can relate to the closet brony part, because I used to be a closet brony myself. I eventually told my mom about it, and why I like the show so much, and she understood perfectly! In fact, she said she would give it a try! You never know what might happen! But I wouldn't recommend telling anyone who you KNOW wouldn't understand. That would just cause an argument. Anyway have fun! There are a lot of cool ponies around here, so enjoy yourself and brony on!

    1980s: I think in 2018 there will be flying cars! 2018: NINTENDO LABO! Pay us a ton of money for cardboard! Yaaaayy!! On a serious note, if they manage to profit off of cardboard, then good for them. I'm a PC gamer anyway, doesn't affect me in the slightest.
