$500 Goal Reached! Fillies and gentlecolts! Everypony and creature! And to all inanimate objects with faces drawn upon them! I stand before you today with the honor to announce that thanks to your wonderful generosity, we have met and passed the $500 goal for this year's Making Christmas Merrier charity event! As of making this announcement, the amount raised currently stands at $541! So definitely a big thank you to all those who have donated so far for this event. The Element of Generosity is strong with you all! Praise be to the fashion horse! And also a big thank you in advance to those who do intend to donate in the coming days and weeks to help us reach the next goals ahead! And for those that cannot donate this year for various reasons, a big thank you to you as well for being here at this time of year to support this good cause with your presence. Seriously. As an Event Coordinator that has only been on the job for less than a week, this is an amazing first post as an official staff member to be making. ... Well. That's it! Announcement done! Time for me to go and find another juice box somewhere. Flowers to have staring contests with. Apples to be pilfered from that stetson wearing pony. Absolutely nothing else to be said! … Oh wait a minute... Yes there is! Now on to the next part of this announcement! $500 Goal Present Opened! “What has reaching this noble $500 goal unlocked?” I hear you ask! A very good question that shall now be answered! It's an old favourite of Making Christmas Merrier. One I'm sure older members know very well. Several staff members have bravely volunteered to go into an active volcano full of traps and trials to obtain a staff of power that will allow them to claim dominion over the realm! Let us cheer them on as they undertake this endeavour for supremacy! Wait... That's something entirely different... Was it that one thingy with the manticores? No that's not it... Oh! I remember now! Like I said. It's an old favourite. $500 goal has unlocked: A Staff Member Shall Sing! That's right! A member of our wonderful staff will unleash their inner Pipp Petals and perform a song from a list of MLP greatest hits. But who will the lucky victim, er volunteer be? And what song will they be singing? This shall be decided in two seperate polls by you lovely folks! At the top of this announcement, you will find a list of staff members in a poll who have bravely put themselves forward to sing. All you lovely ponies and creatures have to do is vote for which staff member you want to hear sing. The poll will be open for one week. When the poll closes, we should have our lucky staff member selected and they will be forbbiden from taking part in any Turkey Call contests to preserve their singing voice. Once we know which staff member will be moving you to tears with their singing, a second poll will be set up where you will then choose which song you would like them to sing. So get voting for the staff member you wish to hear sing! Easy! Go do it! Now! ... There's cookies and punch by the door. … Smiley face =)
