I thought the Pony Of Shadows was its own entity. But if it could be tamed...

As the title asked, who would win if those two ever met? Post your vote and reasoning here! If you think another villain could beat Mr.Shadows, then select Other and post who you think it could be. As for me, I'd say Tirek as he could easily drain all magic from Mr.Shadows. Altho he would need to be in his 3rd and final form, but if anybody could come close to beating this guy it'd be Tirek. He's likely the smartest villain and, after the events of S9, is still stated as the most dangerous FIM villain.

When was Discord made Grogar? Well that is....didn't expect that answer. I just glad that we finally got every ally to come and help save the day. Was highly let down the 2017 film didn't do that, but I must admit Discord having actually been Grogar the entire time is far more disappointing. During Season 5 Starlight was hidden throughout at least 3 different Episodes foreshadowing her return and just how she came up with her plan. Discord's reveal? We have.... Number A - He wasn't surprised nor concerned that Sombra returned but why would he? This is Discord who told us up front a "has been king couldn't hurt him". Number B - His line at the end of Summer Sun Setback. I'll answer this in a sec. Number C - Grogar's design resembled Discord's just a tiny bit. Granted his eyes, maybe, but we see the REAL Grogar's look in that book Tirek showed us so this is a very muted detail. Number D - Discord can FEEL, or sense, when Tirek steals magic. He tracked him down in a millisecond back in Season 4 because of this. So I had assumed the entire season that Discord knew of the villains' return from the very second Tirek absorbed magic. There is nothing solid to warrant this huge of a reveal. I admit we had no idea if Grogar did indeed use this orb to watch the villains getting his Bell, as he said he had been watching them the entire time. I suppose that could hda been a plot point but if this hda been the real Grogar he would had been smart enough to have a plan B in case he was double crossed. The built up was awesome, the villain Eps were fantastic and the how the Princesses would had reacted when Grogar revealed himself....Aw well, at least his Bell kept working and just like that green magic that corrupted Rarity, it had to have gone somewhere. I almost expected him to be INSIDE the Bell and was freed upon taking in so much magic. Again aw well. Other than this the Ep was great and if this had been the series' final it would have been great. But we got a Ep so emotional a friend of mine is still struggling to get back into the show. Good to see Temptest even tho she spoke no lines. All of these cameos - Little Strong Heart even - were awesome and Dash approved. I do wonder, will they pull a Discord by trying to redeem these baddies akin to Season 3? Who knows. Whenever this virus is over I hope we'll finally get the Season 10 comics. Over all great Ep, one of my all time faves and I really have to see where the fans take the unanswered questions. If Grogar had came back, would the Tree Of Harmony had gotten involved? Along with the above reveal, this is another massive disappointment. I want to say that the Young 6 had a larger role planed, going by that painted stain glass window of them battling a monster, but all of that was cut due to Season 9 being the last. There's still so much to the lifes of these characters that were skipped over with those many moons, if the comics and the 2021 film don't do it then we the fans must fill them in. No stone unturned, as Maud would likely not say. ^^;

And Celestia realized just how hard her job was actually to do, and Luna had to do it all alone. I mean, it is dangerous if the saying "if you die in your dream, you die for real" applies to their world in some way. I honestly had no idea that existed. Believe it or not I was in your shoes at another forum. Maybe we could combine the two?

Well look at Starlight's dream and how serious it got, plus Luna's 'creation' back in Do Princess Dream Of Magic Sheep.

This isn't really a spoiler for S9, but just in case you haven't see all those Episodes be warned. Princess Luna walked the Dream Realm every night to help the creatures of Equestria solve whatever mental problems that's causing serious nightmares. With her and Celestia retired there's a very important detail season 9 never brought up. With Luna's retirement does this mean nobody is doing this very important job? Celestia did not do this job going with A Royal Problem. Twilight 'might' be doing it but I think I have a far better pony in mind that just might fit the job. Temptest Shadow. With all of her hardships she would know how important it is to resolve these nightmares and it gives her a way to amend for her deeds in the past. None of the Mane6 were revealed having this job. No pony did. But it can't just be thrown under the rug never to be resolved. Do you have a character in mind that would do great in this job? Maybe there's an item to allow the magic akin to the sun and moon. Heck Cozy Tirek or Chysalis could had been perfect for this job. I think Temptest would be great at it as it would give her a larger role and she is similar to Luna in regards that she came dangerously close to hurting a lot of ponies. So she fits that bill too. Who knows the comics might answer but I'm curious of your thoughts? I do hope this topic ends up in the right place.

Has there a trailer released or this yet?

Off the top of my head I want 2 things. Develop Cozy Glow and her past. She is my biggest concern as she's just a child. Where his her family? Why were they so okay with not only sending her to pretty much their He'll but also her fate in the final? Seriously why did they just leave everything about her unanswered? Secondly. I would love to see the real Grogar return. And There's brother. He was in concept art for the 2017 film. There was just far too much depth for Grogar and Tirek's brother is too great of a important character to just abandon. I hope Cozy, Tirek and Chysalis are released as that to me screams rushed. Does anybody have that season 10 poster before season was confirmed as the final? Oh yeah! Spikes parents I would like closure on too. And Celestias pink mane please?

That is true. There's so much but so little time left to actually do it. I can only hope the season 10 comics fill in these gaps and makes what we saw more acceptable. The show has done that before. Left us on a rather unfinished note, just to come back later and do it more justice.

I have the theory thar, since they released and later removed a season 10 poster, that S9 was began before it was made the final. That'd explain why there were so many unanswered questions and no closer with the Young6 and the Tree Of Harmony. Maybe the stain glass paintings of Flurry Heart and Young6 were glimpses of what was planned.

I know. EG2 is the best film because it actually uses the songs to push forward the story, while EG3 and the 2017 film had too many songs that didn't push the story forward. By the way, their pets (from what we saw) started families as well. That was sweet. ^^

Maybe we can see in the 2021 film? I mean why give those paintings and now plan on coming back to them in some shape or form?

I almost did. And Starlight did live there. If only this Ep had more time to fresh out. By the way, what happened to the Tree Of Harmony? If you noticed, there's a stain glass window of the Young 6 battling a creature. What was that about?

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle, Thank you for moving to Ponyville. Without that act this show would never have happen. Before I discovered that Friendship is Magic, I was rather childish. I was immature and anything but social. 9 years later, I am far more grown up and know what my talents are. I'm still not great at socializing, but I am getting there. Now that it's over, I am heartbroken, but I have so much to look forward. My writings, my friends and whatever MLP is coming in 2021. Twilight, Friendship will always be magical. Your faithful student, ~Darkness Void No words can express what this show meant to me. Emotions were struck, my heart tugged and grieve over the lost of characters during that time skip. But, that time skip also gives us another reason to keep the show alive. There is so much more to the lives of these characters during that skip and it is up to us, and the comics, books and whatever else, to fill it in. It's weird seeing the characters aged, and Twi as Celestia. At least she had her own unique face. It worried me the others, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, AJ, Pinkie and Rarity looking older. Are they drawing close to death while Twi is still young? I shudder to wonder! This new Unicorn, she gives way to what I wanted Gen5 to be - in FIM's future. Maybe that's now possible? Whatever becomes FIM's true end, we will face it together. I feel so confused and worried, yet I also can't wait to see the future. I suppose that's it. Thank you for reading, and may MLP Gen5 be at least enjoyable in its own way. P.S I really had trouble with WHY TWI HAD TO MOVE while having her own castle. That was never explained. But that aside, I don't have any real problems with this Ep. Well according to Applegeek & this Wiki page: So somebody be dying if they show up again - but honestly I'd love to see them again!Season 2 had a bloody coffin on screen, so this show had been there already. "Arrival" could prefer to the big bad of season 9. And we know Celestia and Luna wanted to retire....altho Sombra did get killed and he could be considered a sage....fan theories, GO!

Wow it took a lot of time to fully catch up with the show. Had to marathon Ep 9-11 this morning. And now that I am fully caught up, NO SPOILERS! MAHAHA-wait was that a thumbnail teasing the final? DARN IT! OK joking aside (I am just thrilled to be caught up), this Ep was good. Trixie turned out to be a rather reliable pony while Starlight is so busy it's almost Lesson Zero levels if it had went unchecked. And seriously, if Pinkie did not know about this party she would had exploded to the moon. Btw, could we make Maud's raised eyebrow (the one she made at Brair when he mentioned the glued flowers) an emotion icon?

So, "The Beginning Of The End", they didn't have try to pretend. After all it was fun to see Sombra in his full powered state. So far only he and Tirek both have managed to fully render Equestria powerless. Tirek through seer force, Sombra through brainwashing. I think Tirek is a bigger threat but Sombra shouldn't be taken lightly. He's a smart villain, and totally ripped off Nyx. X3 But you know what Sombra? NIGHTMARE MOON SHATTERED THE ELEMENTS BACK IN SEASON 1!!!!! I don't think that matters much, plus RAINBOW POWER which didn't need the Elements to work either. Kinda a cheep way to beat him tho, in the end there, but Rainbow Power is a good answer for how and the spirit within the Tree is likely still kicking. Grogar being the prime villain...I theorized Cozy was going to free him, but that wasn't the case and thus we have a question. Since it is stated that his defeat was so very long before Tirek's first attack, how the bloody Tartarus wasn't he found in that tower? What, a cloaking spell? Another world maybe? Idk, but he should have been discovered---or his base at least---by now if it's been that long. At any wait it'll be interesting to see how this band of villains (will others join I wonder?) will go about working together. I hope they won't suffer from "villain + villain = "MUST KILL FOR EVIL RIGHTS YOU STUPID LOW LIFE I AM IN CHARGE HERE!!!!!!!" route. Chrysalis, Cozy, are likely to be reformed. Tirek? Not unless his brother shows up. Overall this Ep was fun! But so many questions now...like, what will the royal sisters do? I mean, why and how can they retire? Well Twilight, best be getting your friends enteral life sooner rather than later....Aw well, time travel! Or, you know, have an occasional meetup within the Dream Realm.

Speedy would be Love. After all friendships can't be without a little love. Hence why I believed the Crystal Heart was the 7Th Element since S3.

Open Your Eyes. When I first heard it, I perfectly envisioned a scene in one of my stories. Plus it's 20% cooler than Capper's song. No offense. Btw anybody thought of Aladdin when you first heard/saw it?
