    I don't mind or dislike the term, I'm overally pretty cool with it. Though walking up to someone IRL and saying "I'm a brony" feels awkward for me, I prefer to say "I'm a fan of MLP" or "I'm a MLP fan." And the "bro" in brony doesn't hold the same connotations for me as OP--I understand that, but when I hear "brony" I don't think of any of those things. lol But that fourth paragraph of yours, I've been thinking similarly. I've let my urges to spread the magic calm, but both now and when I was more proactive about getting people to try it... I make it a point to acknowledge that not everyone is going to like it. It's just like anything else, like various genres of music or video games, certain types of writing, clothing, food... So long as people remain reasonable and civil about not being interested, I don't get bothered. lol Er, I'm really straying from my point: I don't feel it appropriate to try to force people into it, and seeing or hearing of other fans doing it is offensive. It reflects on the rest of us badly and can pretty much scar people in terms of whether they'd ever give FiM a try. Though it goes to show that we're like anyone else--there are good eggs and bad. But anyway, I wonder when I'll get to see this kind of thread about the term "pegasis(ter)" again? Lol.

    I think we're all forgetting that Luna was in a filly form after being cleansed of her NMM-ness, and Celestia said she had seen Luna like that before. Plus, the way the camera pans to Celestia looking at her cutie mark in Cutie Mark Chronicles suggests to me indirectly that she was young/a filly once, since that focus on her mark says to me that she went through the experience of discovering and obtaining it like anypony else.

    Sweetie Belle all the way. Cute voice, great singing voice, marshmallow, her mane and tail look great and work well with her marshmallowness... I just find her cutest. Being Rarity's sister doesn't hurt. I find her most compelling overall, lol. Apple Bloom is second, me like her. Scootaloo is last, I don't find her particularly interesting but I don't really have anything against her either. I like em all~ But don't even get me started on Sweetie Bot. Not counting when she acquires her yoyo, hammer, and other objects of FUN.

    Gotta go with Pinkie, but other than her... Hm. Gotta mention Derpy, but yeah. Um... After Pinkie I'd probably have to go with Rarity, she seems to make me laugh more than the others sans Pinkie. Applejack definitely has her moments. Everyone does, really--of the Mane Six, that is. Though also... YEEEEAAAAHHHH! Also, I forgot to mention... In A Canterlot Wedding when Rarity says "weddings bring out the strangest ponies," and Pinkie sneezes confetti? Single most perfect, priceless moment in the entire show for me, in terms of humor. It just worked so well, and it was wonderful to have an instance of subtle-but-still-Pinkie-Pie humor.

    My first answer would be pegasus, but... I always did like magic and the like, and all that. Hrm... Looks like unicorn. Besides, I'm more of an in-doors shut-in nerd type, rather than athletic or anything like that. But no earth pony option? SHAME

    I prefer Sweetie's Big Race, but as far as Pinkie goes... Whatever her Cherry Bomb song is may be my favorite. lol As for proper Pinkie... Hm. Smile Smile Smile seemed way too gaudy/dramatic to me at first but I rather like it now. Still, though... EH. Probably either that or Giggle at the Ghostie. *thinks* Let's go with the former.

    Pinkie did call Luna as big as her, not as old. Even though she's bigger. And I doubt... Well, eh. The real answer is that she's just there--relations and continuity not directly related to the events of the show aren't something they're going to be too concerned with, considering the target audience.

    Other than him just having always been around, I dunno. I'd rather have some more backstory on him overall, and better, just see more of him, than be told how he came to be. Though that'd probably come hand-in-hand with backstory.

    I'd like to see any of them lose it, though I at least don't expect Pinkie to do it again. Twilight? Maybe... Fluttershy has done it too, but that was more about all six of them than just her. But I dunno. Which leaves Applejack and Rainbow. Either of those could be fun. lol

    Just btw, though it took me a while to realize myself: Magic tricks --> Trixie Lol. Though more on-topic, I just figure ponies with more ordinary or less activity-related names are a bit... "luckier"? lol

    Cadence (or Cadance, as Hasbro insists on spelling it...) was a character Lauren had in mind, I think with the same overall story, but provided she had become a character under her reign (lol), she was going to be an ordinary pony, not an alicorn. Hasbro decided to make her into one for some reason. I like it, she looks great. My only qualm is, how will they exlpain it iirc? "She's from another country" doesn't quite cut it, lol. Unless two godly ponies controlling the sun and moon only have any rule over one country/continent. >.>

    Ah, thank you very much! Always nice to have such a warm welcome. Though yes, btw. Sweetie Bot. Try watching "Friendship is Witchcraft" if the humor works for you, you'll see her eventually. I'll check out the badge thing, I figure. Not sure if I see one ATM though, since mobile version. lol And I checked the rules and stuff when I signed up, shouldn't be a problem~ *back to trying to edit my profile, having just become a Muffin*

    Definitely Philomena (after rebirth... lol), but other than her? Hm. I do quite like Owlowiscious. Cute, helpful, was even nice enough to help Spike despite him being... disagreeable. Angel has much more personality than any of them, besides maybe Philomena, but the way he treats Fluttershy really grinds my gears sometimes. Gummy is... Gummy, and therefore awesome. I guess I'll go with Angel, lol. When he's not being a brat he's not so bad, plus... Fluttershy. Though the real answer should be "Spike's pet phoenix." Because adorable. And phoenix.

    I used to just say "because deity pony," but then Hasbro made Cadence. lol So I dunno, but it sure seems to suit them. As for Luna being smaller than Celestia, I'd say that's because they want it to show that Luna is the younger sister. I've never seen it suggested just how much younger, so... lol Though I think I remember hearing about Lauren claiming she wasn't finished growing and would end up bigger, and would not look like NMM. Though with her gone, who knows... lol Speaking of whom, I'd like to know why she left. I miss that pride we all had in citing her as the one in charge.

    I heard its be around the 15th, but there doesn't seem to be any official date yet, so, so much for that. 13 eps? Hm. So long as I keep getting ponies and it has a good, long run (yet I know I'll be damn sad once it's over... but hopefully there'll be a whole bunch of episodes to keep watching through, and brony culture will survive--though it can't avoid dwindling. ), I'll be fine, but knowing season 2 was originally stated to have 15 episodes (come to think of it, I was upset about that)... I presume we'll still get the usual 26. No guarantee, though.

    If I were a pony? I'd kiss Fluttershy/her back, give hugs, generally express that I feel the same. And then awkwardly approach the subject of a relationship. As humans (as I'd prefer lol)? Same thing~

    Fluttershy is definitely my favorite, she's just so sweet and adorable. I have more in common with Twilight, I think, but I definitely am socially awkward/shy myself too, so... lol (around people I don't know, anyway) I was tied between Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle for a while for CMC, but I've settled on Sweetie Belle. Marshmallow, unicorn, that voice, that singing voice... Etc. For other ponies... Trixie is high up there, though maybe not quite as high as Luna and Celestia. Gotta love these princesses. And for the record I'm quite fond of Cadance too (why the crap isn't it Cadence? sigh), buuuut she's not on here, obviously.

    We're going to win the race, BECAUSE I AM A GOOD RACER. And she certainly doesn't afraid of anything, but--well, she does technically abandon an entire sister. Eh. At least she's good at making tacky jelly.

Fell in love with MLP late July or so last year, and have been wanting a forum where I can participate in the fandom and stuff and discuss ponies more--Ponychan's format doesn't work well for me, meh. I just now decided to finally search for one--"my little pony forum". So here I am! Here's hoping I find reason to keep coming back~ Also, Fluttershy is favorite pony (of mane six, at least). But Sweetie Bot is best, hands-down. She has so much strength inside of her that you have no idea what she could do.
