    Found some Octavia pics on my drive, so i figured i would share. I like how most artists portray her as being lost in her craft all the time. I understand that kind of passion in something that you love.

    the writers cant do side stories and such with background ponies due to the length of the episodes, and the fact that it might complicate the continuation of the plotlines too much. Id like to see more of the background ponies getting a few lines here and there, or nods to the fandom, but its impractical to imagine them receiving partial roles in any of the episodes. Id like to see the writers have more inclusion roles for the background ponies, such as in the wonderbolts academy episode where the background ponies were recruits and have a couple lines each.

    we could argue all day and night about which pony is the most attractive, or why theyre more attractive then another, but lets face the truth: its strictly a matter of opinion. no ones right, no ones wrong, everyones right, and everyones wrong. all at the same time. vote with your heart and see what happens when the dust settles.

    lol, that socks. i got a pic of the spa ponies in socks, and it still strikes me as weird. but hey... pony legs get cold i guess. they wear scarfs, so why not socks?

    heres my latest haul picked up the Derpy vinyl, 4 blind bags (Golden Delicious, Skywishes, Ploomette, and Diamond Rose), and a Rainbow Dash brushable. havent been able to find her in any of the chains, but ended up finding her in one of the small mom and pop shops at the mall. canter on!

    figured i would check this thread before going to bed (Lyra related fanfic awaits), and the fight hasnt moved one way or the other. could Lyra vs Twilight Sparkle truly be the definition of The Unstoppable Force vs The Immovable Object? this is a battle of two demi-gods fighting for attractive pony supremacy. theyre both champions in my mind, but there can be only one winner.

    im well over 21. just turned 29 this year, and i dont feel a day over 29, if i do say so myself. i doubt youre the oldest brony here either.

    whats bored? im not familiar with this at all. i tend to stay busy most of the time though. theres always work to be done on my music project, fanfics to read, video games to play, drives to take, beers to drink, etc. if by some chance, i end up bored. i just look at the 4 brushables that still need modified manes, then hey... im not bored now.

    im not certain they are even friends, they just happen to be side by side because their color schemes compliment each other. you can speculate that they're friends, based on one scene when they seem to be on a lunch date in the background, but thats one of the few clues that they have any connection to each out. we like to pretend though, since they look so cute together.

    #1 can be hit or miss. You dont really know a persons character until its tested. whos to say that Fluttershy wont turn into a savage if her life was on the line or she was ttrying to protect her loved ones? you'll never learn about yourself unless you step outside of your comfort zone and push yourself, so its cool when writers take characters out of their comfort zones in put them in positions where theyre forced into circumstances that they normally wouldnt encounter.

    #4: one of the things i really liked about Background Pony is how the author portrayed Rarity as a artistic, generous, and philosophical pony. the writer really did her justice, and their opinion of Rarity's character is one of the best ive seen.

    This both surprised me and didnt surprise me. While Cloudy is an attractive mare, she has next to no following with MLP fans. Shes the knock out that no one really notices, and that sucks.

    theyre equally attractive, but the community is split nearly 50/50 between them. Twilight always had the advantage going into this fight, simply because she is a main character and has better exposure then Lyra. We balanced the playing field by broadcasting Lyra's beauty to those who might not have realized it yet. its not over till the poll closes, so its anyponies victory.

Draw me like one of your french girls Lyra Heartstrings as embarrassed unicorn in flank tight yoga pants and finally, Lyra Heartstrings as Rainbow Dash's head of entertainment in her roman fantasy. Lyra, is it exhausting being so awesome? i see, ok. go take a nap, you've earned it

    hahaha im sorry. im having too much fun in this thread. this is the one reason i hate using gifs though, they speak for themselves and dont need addition explanations. remember people, a vote for Lyra is a vote for bacon, and bacon is awesome.

    maybe our community should lighten up and not care anymore? Cracked makes fun of everything and everyone, and this time they mocked the part of the fandom that most of us hate to begin with, so whats the problem? same story everytime. same 2% getting 90% of the attention and bringing 100% of the problems to the doorsteps of the innocent ponies. you guys did nothing wrong, so dont feel offended over that article.

    id like to see one of my favorite movies crossed with ponies: girl interrupted. ive read a couple "mental pony" fanfics, but i think it would be cool to follow the GI story.

    anything from the golden age of 16-bit rpg era. chrono trigger, breath of fire, super mario rpg, final fantasy 6, secret of mana, earthbound, illusions of gaia, a link to the past, etc. so many great titles from that era. modern games, forza motorsports, gears of war, and mafia 2. most recently, the most important game to me was limbo, i purchased it the day it came out, didnt demo it or anything, just bought it. i had faith in the game, and it didnt disappoint me. i still have it on my 360 too, and i never intend to remove it.

    lol, she looks like a drunken train wreck trying to do karaoke in the 2nd pic. one too many shots, trying to remember the words to Dont Stop Believin' while stumbling around the stage. seen one too many of those types in my barhopping days. never ceases to entertain me either.

    ill answer this just because it looks like fun. im 29 btw. moving on: 1. yes. we owned one before touch phones became the standard. you used to hate people with alot of 0's in their number because it took the longest to dial, lol. 2. i didnt have internet 11 years ago, and my first computer was a old compaq presario with a dial up modem. 3. Desert Storm was the first crisis i remember. i used to cut out news articles because of all the cool tanks and stuff they had in the pictures. 4. yep, we had an old tv that sat on the floor. was like 15 inch with a huge wooden case around it. 5. sorry, cant help you there. was out of school by 2002 6. my pops wont carry a cellphone. hes tried, but he finds it useless. my mum just started using one more often. shes into texting now, lol. i still dont have a touch phone. 7. yes and yes. i remember using an old Apple back in grade school, playing Oregan Trail and that one text game where you drove a truck. had to swap to the big black discs whenever you wanted to change games. def remember the 3.5 discs too, as i had piles of them for storing files when i first got a computer. 8. yesterday. forgot the number to the local chinese place. mmmm pork fried rice. 9. thats a tough one. i watched winnie the pooh and G1 transformers back in the day. i think my true first love was the classic looney toons cartoons, and tiny toons. 10. i rarely think anything looks dated. i like cars that still use old technology such as leaf springs and carberators, so dated doesnt really apply to me. its not dated, its vintage.

    why you no love me no more? i actually like that the voting has been close almost every time. its making the competition interesting and i keep coming back to the thread and checking the new posts instead of voting and forgeting about it.
