How did you ask her/him out?

I started talking to sammy though a fan fic thread, I got to know her a little bit and when she told me she was looking for a special somepony, I got rather excited 

We got to know each other a little more and when I decided that I really liked her, I asked if she found anyone she really liked. She said no and I said "It's a shame we can't just go out. I mean, Lightning is pretty fond of Wolfy" and sent her this picture I drew: 

I think it worked, because now we're happily engaged

There wasn't really any asking out... it just sort of happened without anyone really saying anything.

 

I met him here, we became friends, something soul-crushingly terrible happened with an ex-boyfriend... he cheered me up. We had a lot of fun, and we found out we had a lot of mutual interests along the way. Eventually, it got to the point where we acted like we were in a relationship without actually being in one, and it became official the day he showed up at the airport to visit me. We went out to eat several times during his visit, but one in particular I remember is when we went to the Olive Garden and I had giggle girlgasms about being on an ACTUAL date. But I don't think either of us really asked the other to go out on that. I think we just sort of mutually agreed.

 

"Asking out" nowadays amounts to me saying: "You know, we should do this." And he says: "Okay!"

Aww man... I had some of the STUPIDEST ways to ask a girl out... Most recently, we hung out for an hour just to talk about life before I decided to tell her my feelings... the thing? It was that I was really nervous about it, so I flubbed it. She turned me down unsurprisingly, but I learned a lot from that experience!

 

The biggest thing? Most of the time, if you two are really in love, asking a girl out wouldn't be that nerve-wrecking, especially given that the future couple are so in tune with each other! Sides, the best way to really know if someone of the opposite sex cares about you is if you two became close friends anyway! 

 

Coming back to the topic, I'll just say that in the future, I'll save the asking out when I feel more confident about love from the girl I hope to date and when I feel more ready to spend a lot of time with da girl.

I didn't even know this person existed, it was suddenly introduced to me by a friend without warning. It felt like it was body chemistry dictating this person's behaviour, so I denied the proposition. She ended up with another male who used her, and then they broke up.

Now, for the most part, mature relationships are not pursued, they naturally become part of one's life as we come to discover more of ourselves in one another.

Neither of us really asked the other out, we both after a while just started telling each other how we love each other and it sort of became the relationship it is now.

We met online, although I don’t remember what I said or how I said it. I was jumbling with words and wrote in a poetic way without giving out too much.  But I got turned down anyways.

Wish it was a more romantic scenario. It's not. Had a great couple years out of that relationship though. Ended partially because she moved and I couldn't, and because it was starting to run it's course. Still friends.
