Obligatory update on my sort of not really friends band...

They released a new album, and it kicks ass.

They're also getting tons of great reviews from various online magazines (I'm not into music journalism so I don't know if any major publications have reviewed them yet), and they're touring up and down the west coast, so that's pretty cool :D

Signature now 99% less edgy!

Anyone a fan of Aristeia?

Just started grooving this track after forgetting they released this. I had the chance to see them live in my own quaint town, but circumstances prevented me from doing so.

Also MEANS END. Talk about groove, these guys meld jazz and prog/djent so well it hertz.

2:38 literally has a /groovedown/. It's like a breakdown but 300% more jazz.

Dude, that song by Means end was.. Wow. That's something else dude, I love it!

The best metal show. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it, it's really funny.

I've known about Means End for a while, I just never quite got into them recently, and I'm glad I eventually did. They have one album out, The Didact. I wanted to but a CD so bad, but they only had a very limited run. Needless to say I bought the album off iTunes not a day after I jammed the album over and over. Another favorite from them is one they made a music video of:

It all in Latin :D

Also I have watched Metalocalypse a bit while it was on frequently enough, but I haven't turned on my TV in ages recently, haha.

I have quite a few favorite up my sleeve for sure:

http://youtu.be/kxCgAfhNDkc

Band local to Cleveland, Ohio. I'm from Lorain, a city about 20 minutes out of Cleveland. :P They are similar to Slipknot, and for years fans of both with fight with each other over the bands.
The masks you see in the video were done by a friend of my cousin. :3 Jason Kisner

That's my ABSOLUTE favorite band. Although Slipknot's my first favorite band. I've heard of Mushroomhead since I was 14 or so, and if people think they cannot be fans of a band that's similar to their favorite band, I truly find them quite imbelic and devitalized. I really do. I've been fans of both Slipknot and Mushroomhead for years, and not a single article shows beef between both bands. It was all about the fans getting into fights. Plus, there will hopefully be a Slipknot and Mushroomhead tour coming up.

Not gonna lie. I'm not a huge fan of the music. Some of the songs are alright, but....idk. Just can't get too much into it. The only reason I even know of the band is because said cousin gave me a copy of "The Righteous And The Butterfly" as a birthday present.

The fold-out art that's a part of the case is badass though.
