The brony fandom died. What do you do?

Erm, Firefly only ran for 14 episodes. How big are the Firefly browncoats?

Big enough to host our own continuous conventions and get a film release after the series was canceled when there was no previous plan for it.

My point is that if they can keep the flame going with only one season, we have much more fuel to that same fire.

What would I do? I just move on.

As for the "brony" thing, ever since Equestria Girls came to existance, I'm more of the human side than ponies. So if to say that the fandom is finished, I'll be doing my usual things on Steam, whether I still have couple of friends from the fandom or not.

I would go to Filly Funtasia then and watch that or wait until Gen 5 comes out, if i want to see ponies  :ooh:

And if the Fandom of FIM would die out and this forum will get deleted ( which is probably not gonna happen anytime soon  but just for the rare sad case it does get deleted ) i would just join an older generation Forum about My Little Pony or create my own

If this meant that people would stop liking MLP, then I would probably keep going with watching the show. If this meant that everyone who likes MLP dies, then the population would be severely dropped. Since I'm a brony and would be dead, I can't do anything.

Keep chatting with my Brony friends and keep making brony art probably.

Just because a show ends doesn't mean you stop enjoying it.

SWAT Kats hasn't had an episode in like 10+ years.

Still adore it with all my heart!! <3

Besides I have like a million fandoms I'm in. I'll always have something to do.

Not really sure TBH. Because Buck Testa said to me that I was ''Clearly not interested in the fandom''. Not really, I hope that the season doesn't rot, but if it does, we'll just remember the good times. Digibro has moved on to Anime. Animatedjames believes the fandom is dishonest. And the Unlikeable Brony said to me that ''Not having a seasonal rot is no guarantee, a lot of shows have seasonal rot, MLP could be next''. Spongebob has seasonal rot, people say the Simpsons does, but I don't believe it, I still love the simpsons. As the humour isn't grotesque like Spongebob's. If, though, the fandom does die because of seasonal rot. I'll probably do what Digibro did, go to Anime, maybe Adventure Time, or even Disney. I Will still remember this fandom, I'm not planning leaving. But If I do one day in the future that will be the case.

Assuming that G4/G4.5 doesn't immediately spawn afterwards, I'd retain my interest in the show and its fan content, in the hopes that there would be some sort of revival.

Because Buck Testa said to me that I was ''Clearly not interested in the fandom''

I do not appreciate being attributed with a quote so grossly out of context and so long after the post has been supposedly made, especially in an open forum as well as being pm'd to respond like I somehow did something wrong. The only time I recall saying anything remotely like this was with someone who had nothing nice to say about the show what so ever, and I wondered why they would subject themselves to something that no longer interests them. In that, I was more referring to the show than the fandom itself, and there are indeed people who want to hate the show's "current direction" but still stick around to watch it for some peculiar reason, and it ends up making them really angry and upset till they have a Tommy Oliver moment. I am a firm believer that you are not obligated to watch a show you don't find interesting or engaging anymore just because you say your part of a fandom, because its just a show for entertainment and not something to stress over like that.

In short, if I said what you say I said, then I probably had a good reason, and it was not from a place of a personal attack like your trying to paint it as here.

Not saying you did. Not being offensive or anything, but I remember you saying to me that I ''Clearly wasn't interested in the show''.

but you are basically boxing yourself in. You clearly aren't interested in the show, you make that pretty plain with your opinion in the opening post, yet you continue out of some obligation to the "fandom"

I like the show, and I like the fans and fan content, but if it ever came to a point where it just wasn't doing it for me anymore I would skip on out without batting an eye. Considering what I'm seeing that they got planned I don't see that happening anytime soon, but chaining myself to something I end up not liking sounds really unpleasant

Like Tommy Oliver, the dude was MISERABLE by the end of it, and he ended up blowing his leaving the fandom way out of proportion because he had boxed himself in and didn't see any other way out. JaxBlade is another one who left, and although he went infinitely more gracefully than tommy he did say that his love for the show just wasn't what it used to be and it was time for him to move on.

And no one would stop you from looking at the fan content or the forums or whatever, I'm just saying, if the show isn't doing it for you you don't have to watch it. I'm not saying that in an angry way or anything, I'm saying that you don't have to subject yourself to something that just isn't for you anymore, there is nothing wrong with that.

I'm not being personal. But if the fandom did die, I'd probably move to another fandom. Like I said, I only would if Seasonal Rot starts becoming obvious.

P.S: Is there a way I can transfer quotes from other documents?

Move on, because I enjoy MLP as a franchise, and I'd be able to look forward to what was coming up next.

I'd be kind of sad that this forum would die, but I'd find another one... eventually.
