I'm not yet going to choose one as I want to finish the character first, but i'll explain few things about them using your reply.

I think it's good to mention here that my character can speak ponyish, so there shouldn't be any communication problems with any character other than it getting close enough to be heard without the pony running away.

Deterioration isn't a problem for him/her anymore, but there's a other thing that could be something to be helped with if such is deemed necessary for the story to start moving.

That's kinda the point, I wanted to make it so that the character is stuck as what they are, that there simply is no way to go back, that only way to 'end' their situation is to kill them...which brings me to.

The character, he/she/whatever is undead, as in, he doesn't need to eat, sleep, etc., he  doesn't feel pain, and can't be 'killed',  he's already dead, but through some kind of magic, the same that originally changed him, he is alive. In other word, his body is long dead and badly mutated, yet his soul/spirit/whatever you want to call it, is still alive, that's why he still has his friendly personality, and why he feels lonely and so on.

 

I'm not sure yet which from the characters you posted would work the best, and if any more comes to mind, feel free to inform me, as it will be at least few days until I have the character ready enough to be played, and it may very well take longer if I have a busy week.

I used the things said about Anomaly to explain why she wouldn't be able to change something fundamental about your character. She'd honestly be totally into whatever he were currently.  Though fair warning, she might try to put a leash on him.

As for Lyriel, the communication was more meant with approaching without running away. I figured your char could still speak regularly. And no worries, she can be hidden to another time. She's more or less constantly in the forest.

And regarding the poison, it would be defensively. Seeing as it seemingly wouldn't have an effect, Belladonna would just get more curious. She'd also be fairly honest about trying to poison him, and thinking it odd why it did not work. She's one of those blunt characters.

Name: whatever your character would call him, he has no name as like everything else about his past self, he has forgotten it.

Personality: Friendly and just generally well meaning, but he may sometimes come up us rude or otherwise unpleasant since he hasn't interacted with other beings for a long time, and doesn't necessarily remember/know the correct ways to go about it. Is aware of his looks so he tends to be avoid anything he thinks may scare other creatures.

Abilities: Flying, basic unicorn magic (levitation, basic attack...), can't die, doesn't feel pain, and his body eventually fixes more serious damage like separated limb, but only if it's serious enough to interfere with movement.

Other:
His voice has an echo to it, as the source of it is supernatural due to him lacking the needed organs.
Doesn't breath, eat, sleep, etc.

I'll add more if something comes to mind.
Ask if you want to know something else. 

I can make the introduction in my next post (I post it tomorrow probably ( for context it's around 10 pm for me at time of writing.)) and I can make it vague enough that it doesn't matter if we haven't decided what character will join yet....which brings me.

She could work, and I have an idea for how the meeting could go, though I have a question about her personality. How compassionate is she, because though it doesn't need to be romance (it was just a possibility) it would be good to have a character that after some time interacting would start acting like they really care about him like a friend would.

Anomaly.
I think she could come in later if she isn't busy with someone else already then, because though I'd like to explore the romance side of my character, and believe it would work based on the description you cave, i feel the first interaction would be most interesting if it was with someone "normal" so to speak. 

Straw Hat.
I actually like the idea of him trying to get my character into the town, because I can see that being entertaining story to play through, and meeting Anomaly could happen at some point during it when it seems fitting. But I'm not sure how the first meeting would go so that it makes sense because...

**he wouldn't cross paths/run into others. He knows what he looks like, so he avoids approaching creatures so he doesn't scare them. There's really two ways the meeting with anyone would go: 1. He sees a situation where he feels he needs to help the other creature (they're stuck or attacked by something or otherwise in helpless situation ) 2. the other creature comes to him in a way that he can't stay hidden (for example while he's in his cave or something) or makes it clear they want to talk to him (for example Lyriel being like "are you the creature that the animals are worried about" or something along those lines)

Sorrow's part of a long family line, where all the females can interact with spirits to varying degrees. In her case, she can see and hear them, and the large rodent skull she's wearing around her neck can collect them, and add them to Legion. The hivemind of spirits within that helps each other, and experiences the world through their shared tales and what Sorrow shows them on her trips. It helps soothe them, so that they can eventually pass on. That's why the skull have a varied amount of inhabitants at any given time. Currently, it is about sixteen.

She cannot interact with the spirits physically, and have no special powers related to death, though other members of her family cannot say the same. As an example, her grandmother, who are the current head of their clan, and the one who made the necromantic focus that the skull around her neck technically is.

And for the record, when I say it's an old clan, I mean it. Their family goes back to the time before Discord, when their bloodline got accidentally cursed by Vivid Loss, due to her increased power and soul magic buildup. She does not know that the clan sprung up from an unknown granddaughter of hers, though the records of the clan does have mentions of her son, as well as some descriptions of her, though her name have been lost to their records. Gonna be a pretty weird situation once some day, the two parts eventually meet up and learns the truth.

As for how she scours, she basically just travels the lands, and listens. The language of the dead are a distinct thing that those who can hear them, cannot mistake for anything else. Think of it a very distinct accent of sorts.

Moving on: Belladonna. SHe is friendly in her own way, but as said, she is a highly analytical mare, and can come across as cold as she rarely smiles, laughs, makes jokes, etc. She isn't an unhappy or cruel mare, rather she's just focused, which can be a plus and a minus. A plus since she judges unfairly less often, and a minus as she isn't going to join in on any hugging seminars, but rather stand and explain the inefficiency of that sort of action compared to a hoofshake, as an example. She's a valuable friend and coworker, but an acquired taste, so to speak.

Anomaly might be busy elsewhere at any time, but she have a habit of splitting herself up and then either the parts eventually rejoins her, or they evolve into their own thing. Her *daughter* and *son* are parts of her that evolved on their own, after they split from her, though mostly they just rejoin, or turn into mundane creatures like squirrels, or toasters. Could easily have a part of her meet up with you at some point if it were, or potentially her *children* out on a stroll, after escaping the isle they're usually on. Just... No plastic around the female. She's a right doll, but if she sees plastic, she goes mental and things starts to get destroyed. One of the reasons why she's usually isolated until she can learn to control her more destructive nature.

I can explain more about her *offspring* if you wish, later on.

As for Straw Hat, it'd be a strange journey, but he'd stand by your char's side, provided that he doesn't attack others. As mentioned, Star is open-minded, and long as he doesn't see one he's trying to help be the aggressor, he'll openly scold the other party if need be, if they're the one objectively wrong. Fair warning though, he's likely to try and get you to his place of work if it is, and offer some coffee.

Based on that, I'd say Straw Hat could be fun, and I like the idea of him trying to get my character to the coffee shop, since he could actually succeed with it eventually, and maybe my character would end up even working there eventually? It of course will take several attempts to get my character to leave the forest, but since the only reason he is hiding is for sake of others, it's not impossible. Then Anomaly or her *offspring* could make their entrance at some point. 

Though the question remains, the meeting. Since Sraw would be taking a stroll in the forest, and assumably wouldn't leave the safe path, would it work if he got himself into a situation where he needs, or at least looks like he needs help?

Oh, that's easy. Recent desert in the forest means that some animal life is still all over the place, trying to get used to new areas to settle in. Some of them could make a ruckus, forcing him off the path and plunge right into a deep hole. Sure he could get out of there in time, but him muttering out loud to himself about how he'd go about it might well draw the attention of your char. Or the animals going bonkers could pique his curiosity. Heck, maybe he were watching the whole thing from the sidelines. I dunno.

 So, ah, to draw out a point here @Blitz Boom. Monolith is being harsh. Because that's his thing, robotically stern and logical. Spock as a pony, Mega Maude, lol! To translate him, he's calling out the Mayor as just simply saying somepony is a threat, rather than finding evidence. Letting one's views get in the way of judgement.    ...something that is... hypocrisy coming from me, hee hee!

Oh, and you hit it on the head there with "couldn't make him move anywhere he didn't want to." Because, of course, Want being the operative word there! Monolith doesn't "want" things. He's the most awkward in social situations because of his bluntness. The sort to roughly turn down offers of candy because it doesn't make sense to ingest sugar for recreation.

 

 Oh, and I do have a plan to introduce Slimpsy to the two fillies with @Pastel Heart. I just want to build up a little bit more how inescapable, intimidating & undealable this badger is!

Sorry for the delayed post.  Work has been hectic with everyone showing up to buy toilet paper before it can hit the shelves.  It’s exhausting.  They’re rushing to the store instead of staying home, and some people are even ordering party supplies.  I’m worried the anti-vaxers are escalating from Measles parties to something far worse.  Hopefully my state gets a shelter in place order, because people won’t stay home otherwise.  I’ll probably be leaving work an hour early each day this week, so there is a chance I’ll be able to post more than usual, but I make no promises.  Stay safe.

Yeah, hoarders are really messing everything up for others in Denmark too. And not only by hoarding things they could not possibly get through in time, like toilet paper, bread and yeast, but also by just roaming around in large groups, touching everything and everyone, with an attitude that just screams *I am immune, and no one else matters*. Things are really not gonna go well, when people like this messes up precautions and guidance lines so badly, that the disease can't help but spread exponentially fast. :/ I work in a store, so I sadly get to see these folks more than I care to.

Well, I'll just with my OC arriving at Sugarcube Corner since she's moving from Cloudsdale to Ponyville. This will happen in the same time and day you guys at.

Well, currently Sugarcube Corner have the front closed, and the back is ransacked by a sugar thief. So either you notice the broken in backdoor, or the front is closed, and you'd have to take it from there. Likely the later, as the backdoor's not really for customers.

In that situation, and considering you'd want this to be the same time as where the others are... I could have someone meet your character there too, who were itching for a bagel and something, and also had to be disappointed in the place being closed early for the day? I can show a few free chars I have for this.

Queen Onache. Formerly *lovingly* known among the other changeling races ,and ponies from the desert areas somewhat to the southwest of Equestria, as The Slaver Queen.

Recently reformed along with her last remaining drone, and resided in a desert area that a sphinx created in the Everfree Forest (things went sorta nuts at one time:  ). As her nickname suggests, Onache were never known to be a kind queen, even among her own kind, and thought what Thorax did laughable. After being faced with how it were the best way she could feed her hive, she begrudgingly went through the process, and are now struggling with trying to be a kinder being. Especially to those who have for the longest time been nothing but prey to her.

It'd be a strained sort of meeting, but if you want to test what your character is able to handle, she'd be a fine option, and she'd be drawn towards the strange uniform of the Wonderbolts, as she have never even heard about them.  She can also help if you need some mind reading/altering, for whatever reason.

Ah, and this is her equine disguise, for the record. It shows her personality a little more... Directly.

Rosy Flora usually lives in a rather large mansion in Canterlot, which her cousin owns, yet as an adventurer, he is often out on trips and she mostly takes care of the place when he is gone, as well as the garden in general.  Said cousin have had a few rough days and have been moping around the mansion for a time, and since he's not receptive to her attempts at comforting him, she at this point, needs a little air, so she could well have taken a minor trip to Ponyville. The nearby forest have a lot of interesting flora, which fascinates her greatly, and whilst she looks rather daint and innocent, don't let looks fool you. She's a scary lady when she needs to be.

She could easily have gone to the bakery to try the local goods, then along with your char, found it closed, and they could have a mutual disappointment over that. Might be that a talk from there could lead to something happening, such as them ending up in the forest, or something else in town. She's a tourist, so whatever happens nearby could be of interest to her.

Clayton Quartz. Owner of a rather large building firm in Canterlot, with a side hobby in the jewelry business. After the recent attack on Ponyville, his company was brought in by Princess Celestia to provide help and materials to rebuild the damaged portions of the town, in exchange for a minor tax exemption. He still lost bits on it, but it were for a good cause, so he doesn't mind.

With the town being rebuild now, and things easing down for him a little, he have returned to have a look at how the town is fairing currently. Among them, a certain bakery, who were mostly unscathed, but needed a new roof that were added on rather swiftly.

He's a higher class pony, but he's not running with his head in the sky. He's a kind pony with a rather nervous attitude of things goes awry, which is where he usually relies on her personal assistant, though I don't think she should partner with him just yet. Potentially at a later point, to have him stand a bit on his own hooves, and deal with others as best he now can. If your character enjoys flustering others for a bit of fun, he's gonna be a fine target, that doesn't carry much of a grudge, nor want to be confrontational if it can be avoided.

And speaking of the assistant, this is her: belladonna Venin. A highly intelligent pony and alchemist, with a specialty in poisons. The monocle is needed since she have poor vision on only her right eye, not because she is, nor fancies herself to be, a noble. That sort would require a rather high superiority complex, and she doesn't much care for that, nor showing many emotions in general. Relying on logic and observation, she tends to actually be seen as somewhat cold and calculating, which is as much to her own detriment as others. It's not easy making connections when you are used to over-analyzing everything, and come off as somewhat of a robot on the surface.

If you can get past that though, and have some patience, she's a loyal friend to have around, and a resourceful mare at that too, in case one have some issues. Especially with diseases, or troublemakers who might need a lesson. You'd be amazed what a small dosage of specified poison can do to teach others a lesson, without actually hurting them.

She's been in town to check in on the rebuilding efforts, her boss, and harvesting herbs in the Everfree for her varied concoctions, so it'd be normal to find her about town at this point. And who doesn't enjoy something like a good cup of tea and some freshly made biscuits?

If you want friendly, it's hard to get friendlier than with Sorrow. A pegasus in her early twenties, flying around Equestria, and doing what every tourist does. Y'know, seeing local sights, listening to history, and tracking down ghosts to gather them up in the rodent skull around their neck.

Alright, that last one's mostly her, and her family as a whole, who functions as everything from spirit guides, to mediums, to outright harvesters of souls. A bloodline curse hitting all their female members, of which Sorrow here is one.

It makes her kind of weird, since she talks to the amalgamation of souls in her necklace that refers to themselves as Legion, where members are added and releases over time, when the troubled ones are finally ready to let lose and move on. As she have no issue talking about that to others, it makes them see her as a little strange, edging towards creepy, though she's a bundle of smiles always willing to help, and get a few friends along the way.

She's also one of the few characters I don't have in use currently, whom have wings.

Well, I also technically have Molotov Boom actually. Brilliant inventor from a long line of (usually) short-lived inventors, with a flair for explosives. He recently met up with his sister in Ponyville, whom he thought were dead, after an unknown force attacked his village, and took away all the residents. Instead, the sister had gotten fired off in an experimental rocket, and on impact with the ground in the Everfree, suffered a severe case of amnesia, which means that she can't remember anything that happened before the forest. A trying thing for him, as he wants to reconnect with his last living family member, but he tries his best.

They live in Manehattan now, in his own workshop, but Blitz still want to come back to Ponyville on occasion to visit friends, or check her own workshop in the forest to see if there's anything she can salvage and take back home. Blitz have for a few months at this point, been making things (mostly explosives and fireworks) in the forest, and have gotten quite a reputation around town. An infamous sort, since despite her being friendly and not wanting to hurt anyone, she's still a ten year old, hyperactive filly who tends to lumber around something that can go boom. It makes some folks worry. She also digs through trash at night to scrounge for parts, so that's also something that some knows her by.

As for Molotov, he's also friendly and happy to make friends/help sort all sorts of problems. Especially if it can be done mechanically. However, he also tends to hit on basically any available female he can find, and he's about as good at it as a blind man is as telling you the color of your shirt. Usually he ends up getting hit, but he's fine with it. He gets the point that it means he went too far, and doesn't take it that heavily. 

As for the spider in the picture, it's mechanical. His first successful AI, whom he calls Carmen. She have a larger *sister* too, but she's more unruly, and have other things she'd rather do in Manehattan, rather than linger around her creator. A bit like a sour teenager, whereas Carmen's more like a small child, that adores her creator, yet have a tendency to poke at things and nibble to see what things taste like. Don't show her any clowns though. She'd go on the attack and really confuse/scare the hay out of whoever she's assaulting.
