A possible theory may be that the magic of the cutie mark was somehow surpassed so that no pony feels lesser than another, and that they are all "equals".

Thus explaining the "=" cutie marks that all of the ponies have.

I kind of feel bad for laughing when Spike stepped on Pinkie's family, but I bet most others laughed too. I also like the map idea because of more world-building. There must be a communist like ruler behind those equal sign cutie marks IMO.

There are other reasons why I can't wait for next year. Five Nights at Freddy's 2!!! Time Crisis 5!!! Metal Gear Solid V!!! No Man's Sky!!! Teletubbies(oh no)!!! And MLP S5!!! I Want to be cryogenically frozen until every one of these things happen!!!

I believe that episodes are technically still in production as the premier airs, but the tell on where we stand would be Ingram and the score composer. The music takes longer from start to finish than any other aspect of the show. If writing wrapped up in August, I doubt that all songs are completed.
