1) twightlight will comepletly get used to priness stuff and have a true role.

2) scootaloo dream with luna

3) every one will take magor steps tward their dream/goals

4) for more content they will have to get derpy on screen w/ lines (+ other background ponies).

5) more remantic related leasons

6) MORE HISTORY LEASONS FROM TWIGHTLIGHT!!!!

7) new lands

8) Discord+Dash ep.

9) Life of the Celest and Luna

10) waaaaay later twightlight will become self-absorbed

11) The main 6 will share elements and morals

12) Applejack will have a non Apple (or asorted frute) role. No pun intended ;P

13) CMCs get a cutie mark that's unexpected by the fans

14) Cadence and SA have a bady

15) completly original villan. NOT a myth or legend.

Sadly, by the way the teasers talk about the "nothing can prepare them for the great big challenge unlike anything they've ever faced before that lies ahead" thing, this will be the last season

I also think it involves character death, too, probably of one or two of the princesses, if not all 3

There might even be a canon ship other than spike/rarity (I'm really hoping that they go with Fluttercord), or they will just share a moment.

If this is the last season, then the cmc should get thier cutie marks already

I have no idea what they're planning on doing for the background pony episode, but I don't think that doctor whooves will be doing anything timey wimey, but at the very least, they could get David Tennant to do the voice

Also, if they had transformers ponies or did a crossover with transformers prime, it would just make my day (well, cheese is a kinda-sorta wreck gar pony already)

I believe that there is a lot more going on than meets the eye that should or may be addressed in season 5 (and the 2017 movie).

Celestia and Luna have similar roles and abilites.

Cadence and Twilight have similar kingdoms. (friendship, love, harmony)

however, twilight's NAME. it's the time between night and day.

There's something going on in the future involving twilight and celestia/luna. Her kingdom and responsibilities may be more than simply friendship.

 

Also, there's the issue of sunset shimmer. Her similarities with twilight are too many to ignore. first of all, sunset is the time immediately before twilight, both in the day/night cycle and in when they were students of celestia. also, shimmer and sparkle.

Also their cutie marks. they both are mysterious symbols. twilight's  is a reference to her element of harmony and to her friends, but sunset's is mysterious. is there and element of harmony in the human world shaped like a sun? just a theory.

 

Also, there's the relationship between friendship, magic, cutie marks, and a pony's destiny. friendship is magic, when a pony's magic is taken away they lose their cutie mark, and a cutie mark shows a pony's destiny whether it has been fulfilled yet or not.

I doubt they would make this the last season. The show has only grown in our following of it, so it's most likely just going to be another climactic episode and maybe a trip into some more back story (which I know everyone loves).

 

Also, there is no way they will address doctor whooves. too much room for copyright infringement. it will most likely be lyra, derpy, or bonbon or something.

Personally, I want to see Shining Armor and Cadence. They deserve more character development.. or maybe back stories..

There are many things I'm looking forward to seeing in Season 5, as Season 4 managed to not just hold o ot it's quality, but get even better, so I hope ths'll be no different. However, of all the things I hope will come next year, the one I'm the most eager for is the 100th episode. It's possible they won't do anything super special, but with a show as good as this, they kind of have to. SpongeBob had it's 100th episode be "Krusty Krab Training Video," which is my personal favorite episode and has been very well-recieved, and it's not even the kind of show that does that! (I'm sure it was just a coincidence that it was the 100th episode, but who knows). We could see many of our most important questions revealed, or we could have something that we haven't see on TV, or maybe we could get a legit Christmas episode, or have Sunset join the Mane 6 or have an episode that's gender-bent or anything! We'll just have to wait and see.

Sorry for missing the probably-everywhere-question but when is Season 5 starting? I think Season 4 was good and maybe the season with the most good episodes in numbers but without seeing season 5, I am expecting them to make something similar.

I predict that Apple Bloom will get a Luna nightmare this season. Season 3 was Scootaloo, season 4 was Sweetie Bell, so it only follows that Apple Bloom would get one this season. I also predict that it'll have something to do with feeling grown up. I guess that's really vague... Let me explain. Each of the CMC have dealt with different issues throughout the series. Scootaloo's main issue is that she acts tough and brave and that comes to a head when the scary stories in Sleepless in Ponyville are told. Sweetie Bell's main issue is that she feels outshined and unappreciated by her big sister, which also comes across in her dream. Apple Bloom's big thing, though, is that she wants to be seen as grown up and mature, but often, the adults in her life don't take her seriously. So I think that might be an issue that's addressed. Alternately, the dreams could be seen as sister-related. Scootaloo doesn't have a sister, which is a big part of why she's so scared of those stories. She doesn't have a sister to comfort her. And part of her fear is in looking weak compared to somepony she idolizes. Sweetie Bell's, again, was about Rarity outshining her. So it could also or alternately be that Apple Bloom's nightmare will be about something related to AJ. Often, we see how AJ is overprotective and doesn't see her little sister as mature as she actually is. It could be about that.

 

I'm also hoping that these dreams sort of come to something. I wouldn't go so far as to call them an arc, but there's definitely a trend, and there should be a purpose to it.

 

I also think I've said this of other seasons, but again, wanna see the CMC finally get their cutie marks. I would like to see them get them in separate episodes, for a number of reasons. One, it would be weird if they got them all at the same time. But two, they could tell two different stories this way. It could be the first one to get her cutie mark starts to pull away from the group, in favor of hanging out with other ponies that have their cutie marks. I could see Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon working their manipulative way in this way. Then the second episode would be where another one has gotten her cutie mark, and then there's just one left. This story could be about her feeling left out among her friends. Now that I think of it, there could be a third episode, when the third one gets her cutie mark. It could be about how they can't really call themselves the CMC anymore, due to the fact that they've gotten their cutie marks. Then it could go into a question of what really makes them friends. Like, as it is now, the one main thing they have in common is their lack of a cutie mark and their quest to get them. But chances are, they're going to get very different cutie marks. That would mean that they all have different interests and actually have less in common than before. I think this could get into a question of what their friendship means to them and how they come to that conclusion. I'd like to see these eps as a story arc.

 

I'd also like to see the mane 6 minus Twilight get some actual roles and responsibilities in her court. With the way the castle was constructed, it seemed like that's where they were going with that. It seems a little weird that Twilight needed all her friends in every encounter she's had, she gets to be a princess and they get nothing. They should be appointed seats within her court, or something like that. I dunno. Just an idea.

Great potential in that given how much conflict this will bring. So many questions that could be answered with an incredible story for sure!

8) Awesome idea! I would love to see them interact! I've never seen just the two of them interact, so I would love to see this in season 5.

16) It would be great to see Gilda again, we haven't seen her in a while. But would she be nicer or meaner to the ponies? Plus, what would be her reason for coming back to Ponyville? I hope the staff makes an episode about this.

Well, I don't see the CMCs getting their cutie marks, it kind of ends their role (Then again, marketing new dolls, meh, who knows?)  I agree, if 1 does Diamond Tiara will try to use this to split up the CMCs.

 

Luna & the CMCs dreaming.  They already had 2 episodes, it's Apple Bloom's turn.

 

Gilda returning.  Maybe a team up w Trixie?  They both have issues w the Mane 6.

 

Derpy  Appearing in more episodes, yes.  Considering the controversy last time she spoke, bet the rent money Hasbro will never risk it again

 

Sunset Shimmer Love to see her.  They've already got too many subplots & not enough episodes.  Traditional solution is a spin off series.  I'd watch at least the first few episodes.

I really hope they bring Lauren Faust back to the show and apologise for being donkeys. I also hope that Tyler the Creator and Clint Eastwood voice a character on the show. Tyler was already on Regular Show, so why not MLP FiM? Everyone knows Ponies are so swaggerfic they turn apples into snapple.

I heard that in Season Five there was gonna be an episode all about the Background ponies. Maybe all of Season five will be Background ponies?
