You people really need to watch something like this Youtube video. The UK has a variety of very, very different regional accents, some of which are lovely and melodic, and some of which are... shall we say rather inelegant.

 

If you want to hear a cute accent you should check out the BBC's adaptation of the Katie Morag books (there are some on Youtube). The girl who plays Katie Morag is from Glasgow, but nevertheless gets the Scottish Highlands and Islands accent pretty much spot on.

Yeah to be honest I never got why foreigners thought British accents were so attractive, I mean seriously I'm British and I think my accents just bland, and besides what kind do you guys like anyway, southern English, Bristolian, Yorkshireman, Scottish, Welsh? Now for something more on topic, what do accent do I like? Well I don't know about sexy but I can say I like Welsh, German, Spanish, and Australian.

I'm partial to an Aussie accent.  I think it's really sexy in women.  And men, too.  But, you know, not like this:

 

But a real Australian accent, like Dr. Chase on House.  (I believe that's Jesse Spencer's real accent as well.)

 

And Fang, well, I think she has one of the sexiest voices of all time.

(I think Fang has an Aussie accent, anyway.  If it's not, than I apologize if I'm being offensive in any way.)

 

But for me, the sexiest voice of all time has to be Fran from XII.  I have no idea what you'd call that accent.  She has a weird voice, but I just love it for some inexplicable reason.
