I use to use my other T.V. to watch netflix (more like use for background noise) off my Wii but ever since I got a new ISP (like a year and a half ago, maybe longer) it hasnt worked since, I can't connect to the wifi for some reason, so I don't use it anymore. I play video games, watch DVD and blu-ray discs, vids saved to my PS3 hard drive (it's essentially a Pony System 3 now), and watch films and series via digital streaming services. But do I use it to watch TV shows as they AIR? No lol. I'm prolly done with that. xD Actually my computer monitor is a T.V., so yeah I guess I do use it. Oh yeah... Draxon 215 December 29, 2014 Share December 29, 2014 My television doesn't get any reception, and I wouldn't watch it often enough to justify paying for a line, so I only use it to play the occasional DVD or, on even rarer occasions, play my Wii on it. It's kind of weird because when I was growing up I lamented the fact that most of my friends had cable and I didn't, but now we can just go online to watch whatever we want whenever we want. The internet in my area is fairly slow and can only do so much, so television can help with passing time. Though we do it without a cable subscription Meaning we watch it for free, though with a $#!++¥ cable box that only gets about 5 channels.
