general media Rarest things you own?

So, I just recently got my hands on a game for the xbox 360 called "50 Cent Blood on the Sands". This game isn't the most.. well.. mass produced of games out there and I'm pretty lucky to have found a copy at Best Buy for 10 bucks.

Aside from this little "gem" I also own a copy of Star Wars Bounty Hunter for the Gamecube, which is pretty rate. An un-used copy selling for a lot of money.

Along with that I also own a copy of the Mortal Combat Trilogy for the N64 UN-OPENED and still in it's plastic wrap stuff.

Anyway, I was curious what kind of stuff everyone else has that is rather rare?

well there is a story in the family that in a room in my grandparents room which is hidden behind a wall is that its a closet that stores a very rare confederate kepi.

however the rarest thing that i own is a 1956 dated m56 pattern denison camo smock which was used by the belgian para commandos during the congo crisis. its in very bad condition but has its camouflage there and has defiantly seen some action. Not a lot of these on the market, however i think it might be my 10th princess marys own gurkahs rifle slouch hat.

I own a final fantasy 9 tetra master card set. I dont think any of these have been produced for 15 years and buying it online can be as expensive as at least £100. I think they are quite rare so although Ive opened it I am extremely careful with it because I really don't wanna damage it!

The rarest (not necessarily expensive) thing I own is my 1929 Florida Motorcycle license plate (at least I think it's a motorcycle plate). I've used Google and eBay to look for it with no luck so that's a good sign.

Here's a picture of it.

I don't really have anything I can brag about here...

Perhaps the closest would be this CD of Renaissance/Early Baroque pieces performed by a Czech Brass Ensemble. I heard it on YouTube and LOVED it, but then it got removed from there... Through some research I found the CD the uploader got it off of, and... It was very hard to get. Nowhere in the US had it, it was nowhere digitally, and I could only find it on one Czech website. I had to import it from there, and using a card I got through tax returns since my regular card I can't import with. =/

I don't know exactly how rare it is over in Czechoslovakia, but here it was quite a hassle to get... That has to count for something, right?

Many <3's for Tetra Master.

I recently found a copy of a first edition of the German translation of Arabian Nights completely unabridged at my house. It's four volumes long. o.O I believe 1891 is the date on it, but I don't like to open it if I don't need to. While it's in indescribably good condition for its age, I'd rather not chance harming it.

I have the compass from the USS Alabama. Theres a great story that goes with it too. During WWII when battleships would come in to be repaired and such the U.S. Military would just hire people off the street to come in and clean it up or do repairs. My great grand father was someone who took a lot of work like this. A common thing back then was to steal little bits and pieces off of the ships. Copper wire or something like that that people could sell for some extra cash. (it was a hard time) and my great grandfather always got teased since he never wanted to take anything. Finally one had he got fed up with everyone and he stole the large compass from the ship's command deck. (I mean this think is like fifteen pounds) So that is the rarest thing that my family owns.

It's one of two that have ever been on that ship (to my knowledge) and the other is still there on display :)

Now that's how you walk off the job!

While in Afghanistan we had a sniper that was giving us trouble, long and short of it was we found him and he is no longer a problem. But hidden with his weapons in the floor was a WWII Italian bayonet! MINE!

Then it got confiscated when I tried to bring it back stashed inside my duffle bag

>_>

Well I own a Japanese cartridge of the original Mario Party. I also have an eReader which I was going to use for my Eon Ticket, until I found out I was using the wrong eReader. This one in particular is not only the original Japanese version, but it also happens to be a prototype. Even if I'm disappointed that I didn't get the right eReader I'm happy that I got a prototype of it.

Kind of funny, but it's my 2000 Ford Explorer. It's an XLT Sport. Just try and find that on Google. Mine is the only one in existence.

Sports were only 2 door models.

2 door models were not offered in XLT, only 4 doors.

Mine is a 4 door XLT with all options except leather seats and V8.

But it's also badged as a Sport, came with badges from the factory.

So it's a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT Sport, but since that doesn't exist I have to always just claim it as an XLT on insurance and stuff.

Sadly the Ohio winters have taken a toll on it, and the underside is pretty rusty. So it might be rare, but not for much longer. I'd give it 5 more years before it falls apart. Which is a shame since the interior is mint and it runs like a top, have never had any drive-train issues with it. Only thing that has been replaced on it is the alternator and normal maintenance stuff.

I have a bunch of other stuff, like a Nintendo Time Out Fireman Fireman game and stuff. The Exploder has to be the rarest though I guess.

Hm, rarest thing? I think there's two things I own. One of them isn't so much rare itself... but how I got it was rare. It's one of the many reasons I adore my senpai so much.

Basically, it was my birthday. Normally, he isn't supposed to give out his stickers for free. Since it was my birthday, he made just ONE little exception. So, I ended up getting that sticker above for free. It's my most cherished sticker of all because it came from my senpai. ^____^

Another rare thing of mine is my autograph picture from this jrocker I like. His name is HITT, and he did something really sweet for me. What happened was that at the time, I was really obsessed with him. So I was upset when a friend was mean to me about my obsession and such. I was crying about it, so I started talking to his staff and whatever. They were nice enough to have him sign the picture below for me PERSONALLY and have it sent to me.

I don't know if I own anything else I'd consider rare. That's all I can think of above me. ^^

Don't know how rare it is. But I have a Mewtwo action figure that my mom brought back from Japan when I was a kid. Plus I have a huge collection of keychains where some are probably pretty rare and valuable.

What's it's condition and do you have the original packaging?

It has been opened, but only once when I first got it. (I was like 10, okay!?) It is still in the original package. It's back in storage in California at my parents home.

hhhhhhhhhmmmm if it is in good condition with original packaging (packaging in good condition also), you may be able to make a buck depending on the company that made it.

A rolex watch that was given to fighter pilots serving the Grand Ayatollah, Ruhollah Khomeini, during the Islamic Revolution in Iran. It's from 1979 and it's still ticking!
