Very hard choice between the 6 main, I voted for Rainbow Dash, but Fluttershy, Twilight and Rarity are very close.

I am legit depressed that the search function only goes back to 2012. This isn't my first post, but it's the only one that shows up.

 

Well, this is something pretty much every guy who is shy wants to learn how to do. Let me guess, you're a teenager as well? It would explain a lot. The simple answer to this is- You can't just want a girlfriend, and expect to find one. I know it is pretty lonely out there in the world, but if you try to actually search for someone blindly, you could end up heartbroken. In my life so far, I have dated 17 women, many of them more than once. This is because I am a completely dependent person, but I never search them out. Here is what you need to do to at least attract a woman- Be a gentleman. Do everything in your power to be a nice as can be. There is no such thing as "friendzoned", as it is just a state of mind people make up to fool themselves into believing that person ever had anything for them. If you act like a gentleman, you will find the right woman for you. Also, you need to stop being shy. Confidence is key. Women are attracted to confidence. Unlike for men, women are not attracted to a shy guy that won't even talk to them. That is why they go for the "bad boys." It's because they have the balls to even do anything. So, learn to give yourself confidence. Be a gentleman to any woman you meet. You have your entire life to find that special person. No need to search them out. Also, the saying "Nice guy's finish last" is completely bogus. Bad boys do not grow up to become amazing fathers. That is the nerds, geeks, thespians, and all the lower cliques in schools job.

My all time favourite is Fluttershy, but I adore Rarity too (second best pony!) and it's awesome to see lots of ponies appreciating her! it's interesting how different ponies seem more popular on different sites, I guess it just depends what appeals to you in a character...but I agree that the fandom is so big and varied that it's probably really difficult to tell who really has the biggest fanbase. Based purely on my experience, I would have said Rainbow Dash and Twilight seem to have the slight edge on overall popularity, but obviously that's something that can change or differs depending on who/where you ask

-I thought Paper Mario:Sticker Star was actually quite a fun little game (though not my favourite in the series...)

 

-I've no clue why people are so interested in watching football; I'd be fine watching maybe one match or two, but I just find it feels very repetitive after the first few times.

I don't have a thing for Discord so much as I have a thing for 'Q' from Star Trek, and Discord is a very, very obvious homage. Chaotic, mischievous, omnipotent reality warping beings, both played by John de Lancie? (And lets face it, de Lancie has a great voice.)

 

Sombra I'm not too sure about, but it probably has a lot to do with everyone's personal head canons of him. He's a very open ended villain with no backstory to speak of. I like to assume he was consumed by dark magic like Luna/Night Mare Moon, so the kind of pony he was before and what drove him to dabble in dark magic make for great story ideas.

 

I think the topic was something along the lines of 'Why Do Female Fans Find Discord and Sombra Attractive', or something. Hilarious that this was the FIRST thread I gravitated to.

Well, here it is. It's from an EqG discussion back when it was first announced and everybody was panicking, on a topic discussing the looks of the humanized cast.

 

The colors are ridiculous? They're... the same colors as the ponies.

I most likely would not be able to. I mean i do not know how to cook, I don't have good penmanship, and I am not the best at spelling. So yeah I really wouldn't be able to last a day as Twilight's min-butler/servant thingy.

My first post outside of the Welcoming Plaza was on October 27, 2014. The thread was called "Favorite musician/band and -WHY-. My response was like this:

 

"There are a lot of bands that play songs I like. If I had to pick one I like the most, it's New Order because I like how their songs sound and how they write their lyrics. I have a t-shirt of New Order. Through all the times I've worn it, I got three comments from strangers. I had a person from Hot Topic in Sunvalley Mall say "Is that New Order?!" and later on, a person from Whole Foods say "I like your shirt a lot." Most recently and unexpectedly, at college while walking around, one college student outside said "Wholly (censored), is that New Order? I like your shirt."

It took a while, but I found it.

You are right.  I was flipping through the tv channels and I came across this cartoon (that I don't know the name of) and two min. later I started getting a headache because the characters just laugh loudly at the most unfunny things.

 

In my opinion, the cartoons from the 90s and very early 2000s were the best.

I'm pretty sure it was this one. It also just so happens to be a full year ever since this post was made/I joined the forums.

 

Rarity’s my favourite pony. She has gone through a lot of character development, and I like character development. I also find her major personality flaw, vanity, to be very interesting. Oh, and she has a cute design.

 

I also like Lyra and Octavia. For Octavia, there’s something about her collected appearance I find interesting. I also like her design. For Lyra, I really like how the brony fandom portrays her as a character with a keen interest for humans. It's rather funny, actually. 

 

It's funny to say that as time went on, Rainbow Dash eventually became my favourite pony. Rarity is still cool, though.
