Is Owlowiscious gone?

Do you think Owlowiscious will ever come back or is he gone for good?

 

In the Season 4 finale, when Tirek blew up the library, Owlowiscious flew away and Twilight Sparkle looked really upset. He still didn't appear again for the rest of the episode.

 

Now, in Season 5, Owlowiscious still hasn't appeared so far. Not even in Castle Sweet Castle! Could this mean he is gone from the show?

...I'm sure he'll show up later. xD  Don't worry.  And there will likely be more "hoo" and "who" punning to be done. >_<

I think Owlowiscious will come back soon, but not for a while. Although I do get a feeling he'll appear in a certain upcoming episode, or probably just one that involves around the pets. I hope for less "hoo" jokes, though.

Even before the library went boom-boom, Owlowicious wasn't really in the show that often — only when he was relevant to the plot, or they could get a quick joke out of him. I expect he'll pop up again when he proves useful to the writers.

 

I mean, we haven't seen the cake twins in season 5 yet either, but that doesn't mean they've been written out.

Nah, I think he will come back in some episode. We just need to see Twilight doing something in her new library (suspecting that she has one in the castle) and he will probably be there.

The way he left in Twilight's Kingdom was bit worrying indeed, but I'm sure he'll come back later in the season.

Maybe there'll be a little scene where Twilight asks him his opinion on her new home.

Yep. Got killed in the blast. He survived the initial blast, but the gamma radiation given off by the explosion destroyed his insides and he died. At least Spike will be number one helper.

I certainly don't think so. After all, if I'm not mistaken, we haven't seen any of the pets besides angel, who seems to appear most often anyway. I imagine they'll all be brought back soon enough. ^^

I highly doubt he's gone forever, I think the second Twilight's home exploded, he knew things were about to get serious. He's probably still around, not sure why we haven't seen him yet, though.

I think he's alive but he won't come back for quite a while. He's smarter than most animals but if that kind of explosion happened by Fluttershy's cabin you would expect them to run and hide for a bit. You don't exactly hurry back to somewhere you were almost killed!

He'll still be around. I mean at least they had the courtesy of acknowledging he was living in the library, so he should show up soon enough. It's not like we see Dash's pet "Tank" everyday either. Or even Winona each time we have a look at Sweet Apple Acres.

 

Give it the right time and opportunity and they'll come into play. We've got more important things to be concerned with in terms of trouble in Equestria and general mischief.

For all we know, Owlowicious (however you spell that) is living happily in Twi's castle.
