Venus Angelic pisses me off a little bit because her trying to be cute is mostly just annoying.  I have a couple of youtubers I really hate because they so fundamentally disagree (in quite a rude way) with my political beliefs.  I'm not going to name them because I don't want to give them more attention.

Markiplier and PewDiePie. I dislike their fake reactions and constant screaming at every single little thing that happens in the game. That and their bad jokes.

I also dislike how Mark constantly begs people to help him get to a certain number of subscribers by a certain time period. He has enough subscribers, there's no point in begging for more in some sort of sympathy videos.

 

Egoraptor in Game Grumps. I used to love their videos, but nowadays all Arin does it complain about every thing in a game and plays terrible. I can't even bring myself to click on their Super Mario 64 videos because I know it'll disgust me. Danny and Ross are great, hell even Jon was great on the show, but Arin is getting worse as time goes on. I love his animations, but he needs to get out of the "record yourself playing game" scenario.

 

Rage Quit. Literally the stupidest thing on Youtube. Taking a guy and having him play a game while having a fake freak out over dumb things in games. It's the dumbest idea Rooster Teeth has come up with.

Alright story time

Starting out, I don't "hate" anybody.  If they enjoy making their videos, and people are just stupid enough to watch them,  it's not the YouTuber's fault.

Anyway, I don't know much about gaming videos.  Don't get me wrong, I watch a ton of gaming videos, but I have never visited a channel, watched a video, and was instantly offended or so mad that I had to rage about it in the comments or whatnot.  I think people need to accept that just because a channel's jokes aren't funny to you, it doesn't mean that they aren't funny to somebody else.

However, MLP youtubers I have strong opinions about.  First of all, I don't mind most of the analysis community, but I think everybody needs to remember that it's a kids show.  I know that's the go-to for analysis hate, but it's true.  Why didn't Applebloom get more character development this episode?  Because the show has to

a. establish an exposition

b. create conflict

c. have some gags

d. solve the conflict

e. have a lesson for the kiddies to take home

in 21 minutes

It's a miracle that the producers can have this list of needs, much less have character development for every single pony.

And, a pet peeve, when people say that they hate an MLP song because it's unnecessary or too "pop sounding."  The show has to sell, okay?  Every song can't be Find a Pet or Winter Wrap Up, because kids like songs like the ones that are on the radio.

Anyway, had to let off some steam. Honestly, I know he gets a ton of hate, but I really enjoy Jerry Peet on YouTube.  He's rude, annoying, and pretentious, but for all the right reasons.  Anyway, discuss!

Onision, Sam Pepper, and thunderf00t, and I also left the Amazing Atheist and Sotomayor recently, most of people, all these do is bitch about feminism, and none of their information is correct. It's very annoying when people rant about a subject, and obsess over it, and they don't even get their information correct. Except Onision and Sam Pepper I left because they are just horrible people. 

I don't get the appeal of Jenna Marbles, I really don't.

People who get hate I defend:

 

ReviewTechUSA - He may sound condescending but he really just has no tolerance for bullcrap and I like that he speaks his mind about some of the awful things people do.  He did an interview with the Lizard Squad recently and yeah...  It's worth watching that video.  Will really open your eyes about what kind of sociopaths are in these kinds of trolling groups.

 

Egoraptor / Gamegrumps - He can be opinionated.  I can understand how people would hate him after he ragged on Nintendo for the New Super Mario Bros series...  but again he's speaking his mind.  I somewhat agree with him but I wouldn't go as over the top with bashing it...  but he's an entertainer.  When you're recording and having fun stuff is just said.  Gamegrumps is really enjoyable because better than most channels it captures the feeling of playing a game with a bunch of immature friends and let's be honest that makes for great moments.

 

Ones I genuinely don't like:

 

TheAmazingAtheist - The exact type of image that the irreligious shouldn't have.  He's loudmouthed, arrogant, overzealous, contradictory...  makes jokes about rape, child abuse.  He doesn't listen to other peoples opinions and acts like he is the ultimate judge over any debate because he has "Science" behind him...  A very dogmatic, warped, self-serving interpretation of science.  Oh and he's a creepy pervert, steals from his fans, tells people to hurt themselves... Yeah....

 

Game Theory - Sort of mixed.  They have good points, but they do tend to have very click bait topics (Final Fantasy is Anti-religion).  This bothered me particularly as their fans are taking the things they say ad verbatim as fact (not theory) and to me that's the power of being able to speak well.  Use a lot of big fancy words properly and you'll convince people of something even if you're saying to people "It's only a theory".  Because I have a friend who used their examples of Final Fantasy being Anti-religious word for word and I considered the video being based on very select cherry picked examples.  (FF7 demonizes warped science more than religion.  Even to the point where the villain was a product scientific hubris and the planet was saved by a spiritual entity, FF6 was about abusing magic with technology, 1-3 all use churches as revive points) but because those examples don't fit the click bait narrative, they don't use them.

There a lot of YouTubers I dislike, all for various reasons. Here's a few:

 

Sam Pepper - Arrogant chav who f*cked up and pretty much encouraged his fans to commit sexual assault. His YouTube career is pretty much over now.

 

Markiplier - Never found him funny. I guess it's cause I find him no different to a lot of other gamers like him.

 

Current PewDiePie - I was a huggeee Pewds fan back when he had under 1 mill subs. Now a days he's unfunny and panders to his immature fanbase too much. He never plays anything fun and tries too hard to be funny.

 

Smosh - Again, never understood them. Kinda scummy of them to ask their fans for cash to make a game, when they were probably already rolling in it.

 

There's more, these are just the one's I'll list for now.

Yep.  It's kind of scary that the internet can create a home as a well as a remote power position for punk kids to commit acts of terrorism for "Lulz".  Someone who does terrible things with no motivation other than it's "Funny" is a sociopath.  It needs to be corrected because it's gonna get to the point where the joke is pushed so far that someone will die as a "prank".

 

Also on an unrelated note, that Centaur you have is freaking adorable.

Anyway, yeah, I also hate hacker groups who temporarily shut down websites like MLP Forums, saying they are doing something for society by removing "decadence". Um, no. You arent. You arent on some holy crusade, you are just a bully.

All of the brony Analysts. I met all of them in person and online. They are just horrible people. They LOVE joking about how Trans people are just mentally ill, or challenged, love saying how all bronies are either betas or spaghetti lords, and contradict themselves ALL THE TIME. How they are even let into pony conventions amazes me.

Shane Dawson: He isnt funny...nor was he ever. Whats he even youtube famous for? I see him all the time on the FineBros Youtubers React. He's just a stuck up jerk. His attitude is that of a preteen girl whos going through the emo phase.

JacksFilms: He rants, he downtalks everyone, he acts entitled. Seriously, hes a less emo version of Shane Dawson. The only thing missing from this guy is the Ed Hardy clothes.

Whyarebe: upcoming youtuber who pretends hes an engineer. He plays sandbox games like Beamng Drive and KSP. He doesnt know what the deuce hes talking about. I watch his videos mostly because he shows off mods that I might want to download for my games. His commentary is just so....cringy. He sounds like hes either fat or stuffing his face with boogers. Did I mention he pretends to be an engineer? Whenever hes talking about cars he misses so many details a real engineer wouldnt. At least Markiplier is an actual engineer.

The only analyst I still greatly respect is Dr. Wolf, because he's civil, polite and makes good points always under the mindset of "I will try to see the good in everything." That's very refreshing in a medium where "nitpicking" is seen as "intellectual".

 

I'll also defend Moviebob even if I don't always agree with him. His defence of Spider-man 3 hit most of the points I was thinking about.

Practically every youtuber puts on a false identity. Is a persona.  I'm not a fan of analysts because it seems fairly pretentious to assume so much about a kids show, but assuming they're all psychotics who want to kill transexuals is a bit off xD

(Although I can't really say they piss me off, because I just don't watch their stuff xD Used to watch a small bit of digibrony, although that was mostly for his hypnosis videos, which were pretty cool. Although that was 2 years ago, and apparently he's a bit of a twat so  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

As a YouTubing Brony, myself, I try to make sure my reviews are suitable for all ages. Granted, I drop the F-Bomb a couple of times, but I give fair warning at the beginning of said videos. In any case, I do know that some Bronies on YouTube can be mean, but I haven't seen any, myself.

Fine Bros: after seeing their teens react to 'My little pony' turning out to just be "how sad do you think Bronies are! Oh, you thought you were going to watch the show for real, well F*** you, make an entire opinion off of the intro!" After that, i noticed all their videos were either extremely one sided in opinions or just clinched!

Ali-A: Constituently changing his opinions depending on popularity of that opinion e.g. loves Ghosts in March 2014, hates it like every one else had done since December in April 2015.

Pewdiepie: Terrible videos, his reactions are extremely OTT/planned out, his videos are the same as other, smaller you tubers, he gets rights to film certain games that other you tubers get banned for uploading, and the only reason he is as popular as he is, is because of his irritating, high pitch voice that sounds like a cat screaming, which is the exact noise he makes when he's introducing himself!

Pewdiepie and not just because of some weird mindset that says I can't like anything popular or something like that. The thing is, I used to like Pewdiepie but I feel like he's changed way too much. Change in and of itself is great but he just... changed in a not good way, you know? Back when I watched him, I felt like he genuinely enjoyed playing games and he was usually sincere in his commentary, he still joked around a lot but he didn't make everything into a joke. Now, when I see his videos I feel like every game he plays he just makes fun of, I haven't seen a genuine moment from him in ages! So yeah, seeing him so popular and seeing his videos certainly makes me unhappy.
